Chapter 68. Black Meadow

"Golden!" bricia shouted from outside the room.

Elaina looked up when Bricia was already inside the room.

"Great!" bricia.

"What's wrong?" bree asked while standing up.

"Black Meadow has entered this city" Bricia said without hesitation.

"How come? Aren't they not able to break through our defenses?" Elaina immediately stood up in shock at Bricia's words.

"Golden!" It's not over yet that Bricia's delivering the news about the Black Meadow. It was Brigita's turn to call Elaina.

"What's up, brother?" elaina asked confusedly.

"If you want to say anything about Black Meadow, you're late!" Bree interrupted their conversation.

"Not that!" brigita told her sister.

Bree and Bricia looked at each other. They rushed out to their uncle's room. For both of them it is very easy to know the conversation with each other through telepathy.

"Uncle Bishop is critical" Brigita said. The woman immediately grabbed Elaina's hand. Pulling him out to Uncle Bishop's room.

"I mean uncle?" brigita asked confusedly.

"You think how Elaina and you guys have been safe all this time?" Bishop threw the question.

The four of them were silent. It was undeniable that all this time their lives were so peaceful that the Black Meadow clan was present.

"We think uncle sud-" Brigita's remark was cut by Bishop.

"Dead," continued Bishop. "After the attack, I immediately hid like a coward. I can't help my own wife and daughter" Bishop said.

Silence came back to them. Elaina could feel how difficult her father's condition was at that time. The loss of a loved one is painful.

Elaina immediately remembered David. The feeling of longing instantly ambushed into the recesses of his heart. He wants to meet his soul mate.

Elaina tried to hold back the tears. He did not want to make his older cousins and father worry.
