Chapter 69. Warmth of the Family
"Let's get out!" Bree whispered to Elaina.
"No." Elaina refused Bree's invitation while shaking her head.
"You sure you're gonna be okay?" Bree tried to convince Elaina.
"I'm sure," replied Elaina firmly. "My father needs me right now." Elaina chimed in on her words.
"All right then. Call me if you need me!" bree's orders to Elaina.
"Golden!" Bishop called his daughter.
Elaina looked at her father's face with a smile. "Yes dad."
"It." Bishop handed her a necklace with a locket shaped like a key. "This is my legacy for you" Bishop said. It's been a lot better than before.
"No dad. Don't say it like that! We just met." Elaina almost sobbed when she heard her father's words.
"Death is a sure thing, baby. Sooner or later it will happen. When time? I'm sure none of us know." Bishop said as he stroked her daughter's face.
Elaina was stunned to hear the father's advice. His father was right, death is certain. When did that happen? No one knows. Elaina's feelings were filled when she listened to that sentence. However, that sad sentence gave strength to him.
"Father's right. Rather than us just waiting for death, we better fight back. At least I won't die in vain." Elaina said with a stern face. The grief was no longer engraved on the woman's face.
"Me too" David chimed in on Elaina's words. He just arrived from patrol. When you go into the room. He heard his little wife's heart-touching words. David paused his intention to immediately go inside.
After Elaina finished her speech, David crouched down and hugged her soulmate from behind.
"You're back?" elaina asked while rubbing David's face.
"You think?" David deliberately teases Elaina.
"Ish, you are!" Elaina pretends to be pouting.
David laughed at Elaina's behavior. That woman can change all the time. "No more tears, ok!" David said as he looked at the two Elaina netra.
"Yes. No more tears." Elaina promised and repeated David's words.
"I love you" whispered David.
"I love you, too." Elaina replied with a whisper.
"Ehem, can you not appreciate me being single?" Brayan deliberately disrupts the harmony of David and Elaina.
"Eat him find a partner!" ketus Bree's.
"Do you have a partner?" Brayan asked no less.
"Of course," Bree replied briefly.
"Oh, I'm sorry younger brother!" Bree said in a mocking tone.
"What's? Seriously? Wh who? Where does he live? Have I met him?" A series of questions glided without a hitch.
"It's a custom!" bricia.
"Which language style do you use?" ask Brayan.
"Brayans. Don't take care of unimportant matters!" burgundy Brigita.
"It's important to me, brother. How could I not know that any of us already have a partner." Brayan is still upset to learn that Bree already has a partner.
"Brayan, the three of us already have a partner." Bricia could not bear the turmoil of her youngest sister who was not clear. Of course it's not clear. Brayan looks like a man on a beard fire. He himself has no beard.
"What?" Brayan shouted while tossing his body. "How could you do that to me?" ask Brayan.
"Do what?" Brigita finally made a sound.
"Hiding that you already have a partner" said Brayan.
"One thing you should know! We never hid it from you." Brigita answered Brayan's anger.
"Yes, Brigit's right." Bree replied casually.
Before Brayan rambled back, Bricia immediately chimed in, "You're busy playing, where maybe you care about our partner. Besides, you don't like teasing one of the servants at David's mansion!"
Brayan's mouth was like being given a K glue that was very strong. Bricia's words were right on target making the young man clumsy. Brayan to scratch his nape that does not itch.
Four B's behavior makes Bishop laugh. If only he had appeared earlier, perhaps he could feel the warmth of a family. But for now, he is grateful. At least he could meet his daughter, son-in-law, and four B before his time in the world ran out.
