Chapters 30. Introductions

A few hours later.

"Dear, introduce. This is Uncle Jeff" said David introducing Uncle Jeff to Elaina.

Elaina smiled and immediately kissed the back of Jeff's right hand. Jeff flinched as Elaina did just that. In his country, he had never seen anything like it.

"My name is Elaina, uncle" Elaina said as she took Jeff's right hand off.

"Ehem. The woman standing next to the uncle is Aunt Rachel, and their daughter, Audrey," David explained.

Elaina did the same thing to Jeff. She grabbed Rachel's right hand and kissed the back of her hand. Rachel was amazed by the beautiful girl. As Elaina took off her hand, she immediately grabbed Elaina into her arms and kissed the two cheeks of the girl alternately.

"You're so pretty, baby. Finally, I can be a little relieved to know David has a partner" Rachel said.

"I was worried about him. I think he's gay" whispered Rachel in Elaina's ear.

Elaina laughed when she heard the words from Rachel's aunt. And so is Rachel.

"You know. I don't think he's interested in women at all. Around him there are only men. Well, even though they're handsome. But, enough to make me worry about her love life," Rachel chimed in on her words that managed to make Elaina and herself laugh out loud.

David and Jeff who heard and saw their behavior could only round their eyes.

Elaina and Rachel look very familiar. This meeting was their first.

"Sweatheart, do you need a mic?" ask Jeff.

"For what?" Rachel asked her husband back while turning her body.

"Look around you!" jeff's orders.

Rachel looked around them. The few maids and butlers who were there were seen holding back smiles when they heard what she said to Elaina.

"I'm that strong, aren't I?" rachel asked her husband.

"What do you think whispering is like?" ask Jeff.

"Ish, you're the same as your niece. Every time you ask, you ask back" Rachel upset.

"Haha. You're so funny when you're pouting. Well, your whisper is as voluminous as it is when we're talking right now" Jeff explained.

Rachel shut her mouth. He realized that his words were heard by David. Her status as an aunt, saved her from David who was visibly restrained in anger. Rachel gave her best smile to David while patting him on the shoulder.

"Hurry and give us grandchildren. Audrey would also love to have your niece" Rachel said as she passed.

"Yes brother. I'll take care of her happily" Audrey said with a smile.

"Hi, Audrey! I haven't greeted you yet" said Elaina.

"Hi, sis! Nice to meet you," Audrey replied with a smile.

"He finally smiled" Rachel said, staring at the princess's face.

"What's he really doing?" ask David.

It is undeniable, David also loves Audrey. She considers Audrey as her own sister. David's only child, so he's very happy and spoils Audrey without Uncle Jeff's knowledge.

"When I knew I was moving to Indonesia, Audrey was not excited" Rachel said.

"Why aren't you excited?" david asked while aligning his face with Audrey.

"I'm afraid I don't have any friends" Audrey replied softly as she lowered her head.

"But, I was happy, when I saw Elaina's sister," Audrey replied as she lifted her head and smiled.

"I'm glad you want to be friends with me" Elaina said as she approached Audrey.

David can capture the implied meaning of Elaina's words. She immediately grabbed Elaina's hand and hugged her waist.

Elaina was shocked when David suddenly grabbed her hand and hugged her. Audrey was no less surprised.

"Audrey, you want a niece, right?" ask David. He knew it had shocked Audrey.

The eight-year-old little girl just nodded slowly. She close her two lips holding back tears in shock at her cousin's sudden actions.

"Well, if Elaina's sister always accompanies Audrey. How can you give you a cute niece" explained David, raising his eyebrows.

Audrey smiled immediately. He just answered ok without thinking. It was different with Elaina who was flabbergasted to hear David's words.

"Come on, mommy we're back in the room! Oh yes, sister Elaina, I will look for you if you have time to accompany me to play," Audrey said with a wink.

Both of Elaina's eyes were successfully rounded. Fortunately, his eyeballs did not come out of place.

"OKs. The introduction is over! Let's go back to the room!" take David.

"Hey, son. You forget someone" Jeff said.

"Ah, I almost forgot" David said as he looked at Theo.

What is my day, sir. This is the fate of an assistant, let alone this is our first meeting. Theo said in his heart.

"Honey, he's Theo. From today he will be my personal assistant" David said.

Elaina was about to extend her right hand to Theo. However, David quickly prevented it.

"Why?" elaina asked confusedly.

"Don't tell me you're gonna kiss the back of his hand too! I'm not gonna let you do it!" exclaim David.

"ouch!" shouted David.

Elaina happily pinched her lover's stomach because of the origin of the talk.

"What's my fault, baby?" david asked while enduring the pain.

"Not everyone who met me kissed the back of his hand. My parents taught me manners when meeting older people to kiss the back of the hand as a sign of respect" explains Elaina.

"Oh, so that's an ethic here. Real good. I like it," Jeff said.

"What about the same age or just a few different ages?" ask David.

"Just shake hands" replied Elaina as she extended her hand again to Theo.
