Sharing Love - A Cold Husband

CHAPTER 9 ~ Statement ~

Enjoying a romantic dinner at a five-star hotel restaurant is usually accompanied by classical instrumental music. However, this time the restaurant guest got a special offering from a guest.

The host invited guests who wanted to present a song to go on stage. A handsome man was standing up there with a shy smile.

"Good night to all the guests I respect. I'm sorry if what I'm offering is not up to the expectations of my guests because I'm not used to being on stage. If asked to do a business presentation maybe I can freely do it. However, speaking on stage like this, I feel like a comic that is not funny" the guest said.

All the guests who heard the man's words laughed.

"I wanted to tell you a little bit about someone, a girl who suddenly became a very meaningful person to me. The first time I met him I felt nothing at all. However, one day we were reunited in a different situation and atmosphere. I immediately liked it and I thought it was just a casual liking but strangely I always wanted to meet him. I looked for it but I can't find it anymore. Go back to looking for him but still not find him. I really want to see her again, want to see her smile again, hear her laugh and look into her beautiful eyes" the man said.

All the guests heard seriously and some even put off eating their dinner. Zefran and Frisca were unconcerned about the show.

"Before continuing my story, I should introduce myself first. I forgot because I was too excited" said the man while blushing.

The guests at the restaurant laughed, they did not realize that since then the guest standing on the stage had not introduced themselves. Because I was curious about the story he told.

"I'm Valendino Adelard. A CEO at the Adelard family company" Valendino said.

Hearing that most of the guests were shocked and immediately spoke to express their admiration for the success of Adelard's company. They heard and even made the family company an example of a successful company.

However, to their surprise they were different from the shock of Zefran and Frisca. They immediately focused on staring at the guest who was standing on that stage. Zefran clenched his hands, his jaw tightened. Just this afternoon Zefran witnessed the intimacy of his best friend with his wife and now the man wants to present a show for his second wife.

Frisca stared at the tense expression on Zefran's face. It is clear that the man has been affected by Allena and Valendino's relationship. Frisca touched her husband's hand to ease his anger. Zefran turned to the woman and realized he shouldn't have shown that upset face in front of his wife.

"I would like to present a song to him that will be accompanied by a piano played by myself. Come to think of it, I should get a double honor this way" Valendino said.

The restaurant room was boisterous again with laughter.

"I've never been honored for singing. It would make the historical record important to me if it happened but it didn't. Just allowed to stand here, I'm already very happy. I just want to thank this hotel because this is where I finally met the girl I missed," Valendino said with a smile at Allena who sat at the guest dining table.

Guests applauded, and were thrilled to hear Valendino's love story. Only Allena looked at him with a flushed nose and teary eyes. If it wasn't for Valen's request, the girl wouldn't have wanted to be present at the hotel's guests' romantic dinner.

Zefran and Frisca already knew who Valendino meant. As Valendino asked Allena to stand up to greet the restaurant guests. Zefran and Frisca reflexed.

"Geez, he looks so different. What did Valen do to her? This must have been his act" said Frisca who stared wide at Allena who appeared like a high-class woman.

The guests praised Allena's beauty, they applauded. Frisca looked at Allena from the bottom to the top. Very surprised to see the change of makeup Allena.

"She's so beautiful" shouted a guest praising Allena's beauty.

"Thank you" Valendino replied via microphone.

"Not you" cried the guest and the other guests laughed.

"She'll be mine," Valendino replied stating Allena would soon be hers and she felt it was natural to thank her for praising her woman.

The hotel guests laughed and applauded. Valendino is getting ready to start his piano game. The song is by Elvis Presley's legendary singer Can't Help Falling in Love.

Allena sat down again, Valendino started his piano game. The man sang that love song. Everyone heard the song while chanting it slowly, closed their eyes and even hugged animating the lyrics for the lyrics of the song.

Newly married couples, who are celebrating their wedding anniversary and newly engaged guests are increasingly feeling the feeling of love between them.

The song by Valendino made the romantic dinner even more bitter. Allena shed tears, it felt like running from that place but could not bear to leave Valendino who had done everything for his performance tonight.

Guests stood clapping in appreciation and admiration for the performance as the man ended his singing.

Valendino immediately stood behind the microphone, bowed and thanked the standing ovation. Her face looked cheerful, her smile expanding watching her rousing applause for her.

"This song was presented to Allena but because everyone likes it so I present it to all of you" Valendino said.

There were simultaneous applause and laughter from the guests.

"But when we're both, I'll whisper to him that the offering was actually just for him" Valendino said in a whispering voice.

Laughter boisterous again sounded, the event displayed Valendino is not like a stand up comedy.

"I love all the lyrics in this song but there are lyrics that have a very deep impression for me.

The wise man said.

Only fools are in a hurry.

But I can't help but fall for your love" Valendino said as she looked at Allena's face.

"Our meeting was indeed very short and I was a hasty fool. But it's true, I can't help but fall in love with you" Valendino told Allena.

Allena's tears could not be held back, the girl even bit her lips to hold back her tears. A middle-aged woman patted Allena on the back to calm her down. The girl turned her head while smiling with her tears still flowing.

Zefran's body trembled at Valendino's every utterance. Frisca could only stare at her husband, Frisca felt her husband's heart had been piqued by the girl's presence.

"Some things are destined" Valendino said, still translating the lyrics of the song. 

"Like our meeting at this hotel. This is my destiny, this is my chance to express my heart" Valendino said, walking off the stage bound for Allena.

Allena's body was trembling. Allena stood up wanting to run but her legs felt heavy. Finally Allena just silently peeked at the side of the restaurant's dining table. Valendino arrived before him with a sweet smile on his face. Confidently grabbed both hands of Allena and said.

"Allena, i…" 

"Valent!" sapa Zefran who suddenly appeared between them.

Valendino looked at me.

"Zefran? Are you here?" ask Valendino astonished.

"Yes, we stayed here" replied Zefran.

"We?" valendino repeated Zefran's words.

Yes, we, me and my two wives, inner Zefran.

"If I had known you were here I would have invited you too" Valendino said.

"Oh yes introduce this Allena, actually you already know her. He was a waitress at the Nigth Club Luxury that you were maki-maki at that time," Valendino said.

"Do you three know each other?" frisca was shocked.

"Yes, we first met in Luxury" Valendino said as she wrapped her arms around Allena's waist.

Zefran stared intently at that hand, his jaw hardened, Allena was instantly frightened.

"Sister, I want to go back to the room" Allena told Valendino.

"But baby?" valendino disagreed.

"I have a headache, I want to get some rest" said Allena 

"But…"

"Sorry sister" said Allena immediately ran away from the restaurant.

Valendino was about to run after.

"Valen, I want to ask you. Since when did you meet again?" zefran asked, distracting Valendino who wanted to chase after Allena.

"Sorry Zefran I have to go after him, he hasn't even had dinner yet" Valendino said, pleading with Zefran.

The man immediately ran away from Zefran to chase after Allena, the girl walked hastily with tears continuing to pour. Time and time again Allena wiped away those tears.

Wh why? Why did Valen reveal it? We can't be together anymore. We can be together if we're just friends. Now that Mr. Zefran has found out, we cannot meet again, Allena cried.

"Allena, wait! I'm sorry, I'm sorry Allena" said Valendino who suddenly grabbed both of Allena's arms.

Valendino stared at the wonder of Allena's flowing tears.

"Allena, what's wrong? If I scare you I'm sorry. I won't demand your answer now. I just want to express my feelings to you, that's all" Valendino said, staring sadly at Allena.

The man immediately hugged Allena, he lied. Of course he wanted to get an answer from Allena immediately. Of course he wanted to get the girl's heart immediately. Of course he really wants to have the heart and body of Allena.

But seeing Allena shaken made the man give in. Allena did not answer her statement of love. Even though Valendino did not reveal it directly. But from the show it was clear that Valendino wanted to declare his love for the girl.

Allena was crying in Valendino's arms, the girl wanted to talk. However, her aching heart, her chest that felt squeezed made it difficult for the girl to put out words. Valendino knows that, he's trying to calm Allena down. Slowly stroking the girl's hair let her feelings become calmer.

Allena's cry was not heard anymore but the sobbing was still felt, Valendino hugged the body of the girl he loved tightly. Hope Allena has the courage to reveal her heart.

"You haven't had dinner, baby, we're eating somewhere else. You don't want to go back to that restaurant, do you?" valendino asked while cupping Allena's face.

"I want to go back to Sister's room" Allena said in a hoarse voice.

"Alright I won't force you, I just want you to know. I'd do anything for you. If you want me to wait, I will wait. But don't ask me to leave you, I can't Allena" Valendino said, then kissed Allena on the forehead.

Zefran patiently waited, behind the wall was looking at Valendino who was trying to calm Allena's heart. After seeing Valendino leave, the man knocked on Allena's door.

Allena retreated as soon as she saw Zefran barging in with a sharp eye gaze straight at her. Allena tried to look into those cold eyes. With her tears flowing back Allena tried to endure looking at her husband's cold eyes.

"Prepare, we go home tonight" Zefran said.

Frisca barged in and stood between them.

"What's? Then what about me. I told Mommy I was on a six-day business trip. You should be home tomorrow. What am I doing here alone?" frisca Shouts.

The woman was upset with the two people in front of her. Zefran who casually takes his young wife home, as well as angry at Allena who messed up his vacation.

"You can go home tomorrow morning. I'm going home with Allena on the last plane tonight" Zefran said, leaving the room.

"No! If you go home tonight. I'll be home with you too!" frisca Shouts.

Zefran's steps came to a halt, turning his body to look at his wife. Frisca never disobeyed him. The woman always followed his orders.

"Mommy will suspect that we're going home together" Zefran said.

Frisca shed tears.

"I can tell you that my business trip ended sooner. I don't want to be left alone here" he pleaded.

If you have decided something, the man will not change it. However, Frisca also did not want to see her husband come home with his young wife who had just made her jealous. Frisca believes the incident at the restaurant made Zefran jealous. It's just that the man doesn't want to admit it.

Seeing the tears of his wife Zephran's heart melt. Finally decided to go home together. Frisca was grateful that she could not imagine her husband sitting next to Allena on the plane. Frisca is determined not to let them alone.

That night they returned home on the same plane but at the airport Frisca asked to go home first using an airport taxi. At first the woman refused, but Zefran stared at his wife. Showing her tolerance was enough for the woman.

Finally Frisca came home in a taxi, an hour later Zefran and Allena stepped into the airport parking lot. They sat in Zefran's car, but the man did not rush to start the engine. Allena who since from the hotel has always been quiet until now still chose silence.

"You really like it?" zefran asked broke the silence.

Allena was still silently staring straight ahead. Zefran turned towards Allena. The man could not erase his memory when he saw Valendino and Allena kissing. The man moved closer to Allena, Allena was shocked. His eyes grew bigger looking at the face of Zefran who was so close to him.

Zefran turned his lips closer to Allena's. Seeing that Allena turned her face away.

"What are you doing?" zefran asked to see Allena dodging.

"I will not give my lips to you!" allena said firmly.

"What?" zefran asked astonished to see the courage of Allena refused him.

"Did you forget? That day you wiped my lips. You feel disgusted, don't you? From that day on, I was determined not to give my lips to you" Allena said firmly.

"You don't want to give me your lips? It's up to you but I'll get what I want" Zefran said.

The man immediately smothered Allena's lips with his. Allena thrashed, pushing but her strength was not strong enough against the athletic body. The stronger Allena thrashed the stronger Zefran hugged her.
