CHAPTER 100 ~ Back from Paris ~

Adit escorted Zefran to his room, helping the man open the door of his room. After Zefran put Allena down, the man immediately met Adit who was waiting outside the room.

"Thank you Adit, you have helped us a lot" Zefran said, patting the young photographer's arm.

"No problem, for the sake of happiness, Brother Allena, anything does not matter to me" Adit replied with a smile.

"What if I buy you a drink now" asked Zefran.

"Ah, we just had a drink, brother," Adit reminded Zefran.

Zefran laughed, the man forgot because their habit of appreciating and repaying someone's kindness was to invite him to drink together.

Zefran went into the room and saw Allena who was still sleeping soundly. Slowly Zefran collapsed beside the woman and looked at the sleeping woman tilted towards her. The rest of her crying was still visible from Allena's nose which was still red.

"I'm sorry" whispered Zefran.

The man brought his face closer to his wife's. Smacked the beautiful woman's forehead so gently. Zefran was afraid that his kiss would wake Allena up. But the man was actually surprised by Allena who arrived to wrap her hands to the back of the man. Allena even shifted to stick to Zefran's chest.

Are you awake or asleep? ask Zefran inwardly.

But there was no sign of Allena waking up, the woman just wanted to find comfort in Zefran's arms. The man smiled and hugged his beloved wife.

In the middle of the night, the woman woke up. Directly astonished when he saw Zefran who was sleeping while hugging him. Allena slowly raised Zefran's hand which was coiled around her body. Allena sat down, her gaze circling the suite's presidential-class hotel room.

When did I move here? It must be Brother Zefran who brought me here, I never realized that I had been carried by him. While sleeping in the bathroom, on the floor, in the car, I don't know! But not yet knowing what had happened, the man had come to them and stood behind them. Just seconds, the man who shouted earlier was hit by a large suitcase placed improperly on the top shelf.

Allena was startled and immediately turned her head, the man was hit by a large suitcase and immediately fell unconscious. The employees of the store immediately arrived, not only that the store manager immediately called an ambulance.

Allena immediately hugged her son, who was in shock until his body trembled. The store manager asked the cause of the incident to the store employees but no one could answer.

The manager immediately called the employees in charge of taking care of the counter. It looks like the manager who gave a reprimand and warning to the employee who is responsible for arranging the suitcases.

Shortly after, the ambulance came while the man was still unconscious. Allena paid for all her groceries and set out to follow the ambulance. Allena felt though not at his request but what happened to that person was none other than wanting to help him.

"How's the doctor doing?" ask Allena who's been waiting since.

"Hard collisions of the head can cause head injuries and brain injuries. The weight of the injury depends on how hard the impact occurred and fall from what height. Because the patient has a collision in the head and has decreased consciousness, further examination needs to be done such as doing a CT scan of the head to find out whether there is an injury to the skull, brain, and bones, or bleeding inside the head. We will further monitor whether the patient will experience severe head pain, changes in consciousness, certain neurological disorders such as vision disorders, hearing loss, speech disorders, paralysis of one side of the body, he said, seizures, and so forth," explained the doctor.

Hearing the doctor's explanation Allena immediately bowed sadly. The doctor's explanation sounds pretty scary.

"Zeno, is this nobody's fault? No one knew the suitcase was going to fall. If Zeno felt guilty, Mama felt more guilty for taking Zeno there. If Mama took Zeno to another store it probably wouldn't happen, would Zeno now blame Mama?" ask Allena.

"No! Nope! My mom is wrong!" exclaiming the child cried not to blame his mother who had been kind enough to invite him to shop for school needs for him.

Zefano hugged his mother and cried. Zefano did not want to blame his mother because he himself was so happy to be invited to walk by his mother.

"Then it's not our fault, ok!" allena asked while trying to be cheerful in order to calm her son's heart.
