CHAPTER 83 ~ Alone ~

Allena, Zefran, Zefano and Keisya got off the parked car a little way from the front of the house because it was filled with the guests' cars lined up neatly. Allena stared at the classic-style mansion. The woman stepped up with a gloomy face, Zefano pulled Allena's hand and smiled at her. The woman returned the smile of the child even if by force.

In front of him Zefran walked while holding Keisya's hand. They were seen chatting familiarly while smiling, not knowing what they were talking about.

Brother can smile at Keisya but not at me, inner Allena.

Arriving on the porch of the house, they were immediately greeted by Zefran's friends who had come first.

They hug each other, kiss the right cheek and kiss the left cheek. So familiar, joking and laughing together. When she found out that Zefran and his family were coming, Frisca immediately welcomed her. As in the others, Zefran hugged Frisca, kissed her right and left cheeks. Allena looked at Zefran's happy face before his ex-wife.

It was inversely proportional to Allena's current feelings. Allena was jealous, her heart hurt. Ever since getting into the car after picking up his phone, Zefran hasn't spoken to him. The man only spoke to Zefano and Keisya. Allena felt ignored, along the way Zefran did not turn his head towards him let alone smile at him.

But now he is laughing with his ex-wife. Allena could not hide her heart that was hurting. Since getting a slap from Zefran, the woman felt their distance was getting further and further. It made Allena look gloomy in the middle of the party going on.

Allena just stood alone while her son played with Keisya and her husband gathered with his friends. Allena could only look at them from the corner of the big and amazing house.

This house is magnificent, equivalent to Mommy's house. They gathered, all the children from the rich family gathered together and jokingly set aside fringe people like us, inner Allena while looking at Rivaldo who played with Zefano and Keisya.

The man seemed to miss the two children very much. Allena walked to the side veranda, trying to enjoy the beautiful garden decorated with classic garden lights.  Valendino who was sitting towards the park, accidentally saw Allena who was standing pensively alone.

"Zefran, why don't you have Allena sitting here?" ask Valendino.

"Oh, I don't think he wants to join us" replied Zefran.

"Don't like to join how? He's part of us" Valendino replied.

"Father, she's your wife and sister to us. Why leave it alone?" ask Ronald.

"Is he sick? Is he complaining about something?" ask Shinta.

"No, he was fine" Zefran said.

"Let me go there with him" said Shinta who immediately left her seat to approach Allena.

"Hey Allena, why alone? Why not join?" shinta asked as she stood beside Allena.

Allena smiled faintly and then looked down.

"Are you sick? Or not feeling well?" ask Shinta.

Allena shook her head.

"Then why be alone here, let's sit there together. Look at them laughing, definitely being nostalgic," Shinta asked as she pulled Allena's hand.

"What can I understand from their conversation. They are nostalgic, talking about their memories. I'm not in it. I mean nothing to be there. Look at all of you children from rich families while I am .., let me be here" said Allena who smiled bitterly with teary eyes.

"Allen …,"

"Sister Shinta, just come back! No need to mind me, I'll be here until I get home" Allena said.

"What happened to Allena? Tell me? Are you guys having any problems? You bickering? You …,"

"No. .., nothing happened, I just felt it was inappropriate to join there,"

"Allen!"

Nobody asked me, nobody cared about me. Then suddenly remembered me? What did it feel like since it was ignored and then suddenly remembered that there was someone named Allena here? "I'd better be here, I'm not comfortable joining you guys" Allena said, turning her face toward the park.

Doctor Shinta could not persuade Allena, the beautiful doctor was worried about Allena's mental health. Doctor Shinta returned to the table where Zefran and the others gathered. The woman immediately invited Zefran to speak with four eyes.

To Zefran's astonishment followed Doctor Shinta standing some distance away from his companions.

"What's Shinta?" ask Zefran astonished.

"I want to ask you, what's wrong with Allena? Why is he like that?" ask Shinta.

"What does that mean? Why her? He's okay" replied Zefran.

"It's okay? Look at him alone" said Shinta.

"Yes maybe he wants to be alone again, I don't know what's on his mind" Zefran said.

"You don't care about him anymore" Shinta said.

"No matter how? She is my wife where I may not care about her" replied Zefran.

"Are you guys in trouble? Tell me the truth" Shinta said.

Zefran sighed then looked at Allena who was standing alone on the side veranda while staring at the garden. The man finally nodded.

"Yesterday we had a problem, I even slapped him but I apologized to him. What else is the problem?" asked Zefran confused.

"It looks like Zefran has not finished, the problem is still left. I looked at her teary eyes, she felt a sadness she could not say. Zefran, we know she's just given birth and she's facing the reality of her missing son. I'm afraid it's not just baby blues syndrome that happens the first fourteen days after giving birth, she's gone through that time but her symptoms are still visible. I feel afraid because if the symptoms of baby blues syndrome are still experienced more than fourteen days it is feared it will lead to the condition of Postpartum Depression," said Shinta.

"Whatis that? I don't understand?" zefran asked, feeling worried.

"Baby blues is characterized by significant emotional changes postpartum. The emotional changes are seen from the ups and downs of emotions, sadness, easy to forget, sensitivity, and stress. Postpartum depression is the advanced phase of baby blues syndrome. A mother with postpartum depression has difficulty feeling happy, over the birth of her baby, often grim, even losing interest in doing daily activities can even avoid her baby. I'm afraid postpartum depression is making her lose her babysitting ability.…,"

"That was when Zeno went missing, she didn't want to take care of the baby at all" Zefran said.

"Geez, until like that? And we ignore it without suggesting he see a psychologist?" ask Shinta.

"Because of that now you're ignoring her feelings?" ask Shinta.

"What's? An abai? Whatchu mean?" zefran asked with a worried face mixed with annoyance.

"Symptoms of postpartum depression can be experienced for at least one month and last up to a year after giving birth. You should pay more attention to his feelings during that time. He will be easy to be emotional, feel sad and sensitive. Avoid household problems that make it stressful," said Shinta gave advice.

"I know, but sometimes problems arise. I myself feel unable to overcome it and even more often blame it," said Zefran regretted.

"I talked to him and I saw the symptoms of postpartum depression on him. A mother who experiences postpartum depression feels shame, guilt, and decreased self-confidence, feels low self-esteem, feels unable to be a good mother," Shinta said.

"Sembarrassed?  Be guilty? Feeling low self-esteem? Have decreased self-confidence? That's impossible, why should he feel that? She is the wife of a CEO and she herself is also a famous designer. There's no way he's not confident" Zefran said.

"Why do you think he's that aloof? I invited him to join but what he said, he felt he had no meaning in joining you because you are all children from a rich family" Shinta replied.

"Geez, why would he think that?" zefran asked with an annoyed face mixed with worry.

"I told you she had postpartum depression until she became so sensitive. After all since you guys came I feel that you did ignore him. Wh why? Don't tell me you're okay and don't tell me you're ignoring it?" ask Shinta.

"That's because it was .. he .. he pissed me off, he didn't want to touch my phone until I always lost my phone" Zefran said.

"Now you're still mad at him?" ask Shinta again.

"I want you to finish it immediately. I was afraid of the constant feeling of fatigue she felt, making her think of hurting herself or her baby" Shinta said.

Zefran raised his head to look at Doctor Shinta's face. His eyes widened, Zefran did not think that Doctor Shinta could think that far about his wife's condition.

"Then what should I do? If I ask, he won't answer. He must have said he was okay" Zefran said.

"Allena is like that, she prefers to harbor her own sadness. You have to make her emotional, until she can't take it anymore and finally vapourize her emotions" Shinta suggested.

Doctor Shinta smiled as he looked at Zefran who stepped over to his wife. The beautiful doctor watched from his place. Valendino came and asked him.

"Let me tell you!" shinta.

The woman was still busy watching what Zefran was doing. And it was Allena who shook her head. The man grabbed his wife's hand and tried to get her into the room. Allena was forced to follow the man.

"We'll be home soon, now sit here!" zefran yelled as he patted his wife's shoulders asking her to sit down.

Allena was forced to sit next to her husband. Ronald and Altop smiled at him and Allena returned her smile. Doctors Shinta and Valendino sat back in their positions. Allena turned to Rivaldo, who was for her a person who was ostracized by the wealthy family's bloodline.

"Rivaldo was very confused with the two children, since he had been waiting for their arrival. Right Top?" ask Frisca on the Altop.

"Hmm .. we are like there is no meaning to him. Chatting, joking since it was here, once the two children came, we were immediately abandoned" said Ronald.

They laughed, inversely proportional to Allena who still looks moody even more guilty.

Zefran turned to his wife and smiled, Allena returned the smile despite the forced smile.

"Allena, you look fat now? It looks like Zefran made your life very happy" said Ronald, who wished to say hello.

"Although fat but still beautiful, right?" said Zefran who seemed to defend but approved Ronald's remarks.

"Maybe you have to consume more broccoli to stay as ideal as Frisca" Zefran said.

Allena turned to look at the man. When Zefran agreed to Ronald's words, his heart ached, and now Zefran compares him to Frisca. Allena was really hurt.

Allena turned to look at Zefran's friends who were laughing after hearing the man's words. They also added words to Allena.

"What your husband said is true, though you get fat but you are still beautiful. Big is beautiful" continued Altop and the others laughed.

"Originally do not keep, Zefran will not be seen if standing behind you" said Ronald.

Everyone laughed again, Allena couldn't take it anymore. The woman stood up and looked at her husband.

"So this is the point I was brought here? To have Brother's friends all laugh at me?" allena said to Zefran with teary eyes.

Allena slammed the napkin in her hand and immediately left the place.
