CHAPTER 51 ~ Verdict ~
Allena was shocked to hear the doctor's explanation, although he had suspected it before but Allena still hoped that what Zefano suffered was not a disease that had caused his father to leave the world.
Hearing that Allena's tears instantly flowed, the girl was shocked. It was just like unconsciousness. Valendino tried to resuscitate the girl who was silent as if she had lost her soul.
As soon as she woke up, the girl immediately cried hysterically. Valendino hugged the shaken girl and tried to comfort her. The doctor who witnessed Allena's grief could do nothing.
"Allena calm down, we listen to the doctor's explanation next. Believe me the doctor will provide the best way for Zeno's recovery" Valendino said trying to calm Allena.
Hearing Valendino's words, the girl immediately tried to calm down. Although still sobbing, Allena is ready to listen to the next explanation of the doctor.
"Cancer of blood or known as leukemia, quite often experienced by children. One in ten thousand children has the disease" doctors say.
Allena and Valendino were astonished to hear the doctor's explanation before them.
"Covering leukemia is generally done in two ways, namely by chemotherapy or spinal cord transplant," continued the doctor.
Allena and Valendino looked at each other with worried faces.
"There are two types of leukemia: acute and chronic. Acute lymphostic leukemia or Acute Lymphoctic Leukemia abbreviated as ALL is a type of cancer of the blood and bone marrow. More than eighty percent, childhood leukemia is a type of ALL," the doctor continued.
"ALL's cure rate with chemotherapy has been very good. Reaching seventy to eight percent means that with chemotherapy, leukemia patients can be successfully cured and the condition returns to normal" explained the doctor.
"Really doctor? Can you be healed and return to normal life?" allena asked in disbelief.
The doctor nodded, Allena turned her head towards Valendino who was smiling at the doctor's explanation.
"But as I mentioned earlier, leukemia is of two types. The second type is Acute Myeloid Leukemia or abbreviated as AML. It's a type of chronic leukemia" the doctor said.
Allena turned back to Valendino with a worried face.
"If when in chemotherapy patients with acute leukemia experience a recurrence then the patient includes the type of AML and therapy is done in patients with AML is a bone marrow transplant or spinal cord transplant," explained the doctor again.
"What's? Is there a possibility like that, doctor?" ask Allena.
"Only fifteen to twenty percent of leukemia sufferers are AML types. We expect Zeno not to be in that twenty percent" explained the Doctor.
"Yes, hopefully Zeno is not included in the type of AML," Allena hoped.
Valendino agreed.
"Now we are talking about therapeutic options that can be done for the treatment of leukemia in children. The main treatment for childhood leukemia is actually chemotherapy. But now there are several other options such as radiation therapy, drug therapy specifically for leukemia, immunotherapy, high-dose chemotherapy and lastly stem cell or bone marrow transplantation. Which therapy does Madam want for Zeno's leukemia treatment?" ask Doctor.
"Whichever is as long as it's best for the sake of my son's recovery doctor," replied Allena directly.
"Alright, the main therapeutic option for treating leukemia is chemotherapy. As I have explained if the type of leukemia suffered by Zeno is ALL then the chemotherapy leukemia patients can be successfully cured with the condition that returns to normal," said the doctor.

After listening to the doctor's briefing, Allena and Valendino returned to Zefano's hospital room. The boy immediately smiled welcoming them.

Valendino smiled as she shifted the overbed table where Zefano's lunch was finished.
"What did Doctor Ma say? Zeno's sick what?" ask Zefano.
Allena took off her embrace and looked sadly at her son's face. Slowly the eyes glazed over, Allena was unable to answer the question. The girl could only continue to stare at Zefano's face. Every time she opened her mouth, she answered until her tears flowed.
Zefano wiped those tears. Seeing that, Valendino helped answer Zefano's question.
"The name of leukemia but the doctor said that his son was strong, obeying the same words of the doctor and his parents. Children who get sick usually recover and can go to school again" explains Valendino.
"really? Zeno can go to school again?" ask Zeno.
Valendino nodded while sitting on Zefano's bed facing the boy. Looking at Allena who was still busy wiping her tears. However, no matter how hard he tried to calm down. His tears continued to flow while Valendino managed to distract Zefano with her questions.
"But by the way Zeno is not obedient huh? Is lunch spent or not?" valendino asked as she turned to the plate above the overbed table.
"Haaa, it's still left broken, let's eat until it runs out" Valendino said while taking a plate of broccoli.
"That's why Zeno designed Uncle Val, Uncle Val does he like broccoli?" Zefano.
Valendino turned her face away while saying quietly.
"Who do I like broccoli?" valendino said with the teeth attached.
Allena and Zefano laughed at Valendino's expression made as if annoyed.
"Let's eat, broccoli vegetables are nutritious?" zefano said with a laugh closing his mouth.
Allena laughed again, as Valendino stared at the broccoli like looking at the bitter-tasting medicine. Zefano took a fork and thrust the broccoli and fed Valendino.
"Please, I was forced to eat broccoli" Valendino said, raising both hands.
Valendino remembered something.
"Oh yes, for Mama only, Mama really likes broccoli and Mama Zeno also has not had lunch" Valendino said as he pointed.
Zefano turned to his mother and fed her. Allena ate the broccoli that Zefano recommended.
"Sir Valen, Brother hasn't had lunch yet, has he? Brother go to lunch first" Allena suggested.
"You haven't had lunch yet" Valendino said.
"If so Mama and Uncle Val had lunch first," said Zefano.
"Where's Allena? Let's have lunch first?" ask Valendino.
Allena turned to her son, Zefano nodded. Allena smiled, the girl agreed to have lunch at a restaurant not too far away.
"Zeno don't go anywhere, wait for Mama, Mama just a moment," said Allena pampit who was replied by a nod by Zefano.
As soon as Mama left, Zefano went out to meet Zefran. The boy smiled as he looked at Zefran who was eating his lunch. Zefran immediately called Zefano in when he saw the boy standing peeking behind the door.
"Why stand there, come here" asked Zefran.
The boy immediately sat behind Zefran's overbed table.
"Zeno's eating?" asked Zefran who was replied with a nod.
"Oma didn't come, Pa?" ask Zeno.
"Come but now go home first for rest and lunch" said Zefran while eating his lunch.
"Don't you like broccoli?" zefano asked when he saw the man putting aside the broccoli.
"Zeno likes?" ask Zefran.
"No, I don't like it either" said Zefano.
"We are the same, it turns out there are also the same as Papa, do not like to eat broccoli," said Zefran.
"But Mama Zeno likes broccoli" Zefano replied.
"Papa's wife also likes broccoli, if she eats broccoli she can spend a lot" replied Zefran smiling.
"Just like Mama, if Zeno ate the broccoli that spent Zeno was always Mama but now Zeno loves Uncle Val" said Zeno.
"Uncle Val, who is that? Your Mama's boyfriend" asked Zefran with a laugh.

"How long have you been staying here?" ask Zefano.
"Tomorrow Papa can go home but still have to go to the hospital for outpatient treatment" said Zefran.

Zefran also laughed.
"If when can Zeno come home?" ask Zefran.
"Zeno is still a long time, Mama said she had to undergo treatment first," said Zefano sadly.
"The cure? Zeno knows the disease?" zefran asked as he finished his lunch.
"It's called leukemia" Zefano replied after nodding.
"Leukemia?" repeated Zefran with a shocked expression.

Too bad for your fate, son, at such a small age you must accept this ordeal, your mother must be very sad to know this reality, inner Zefran.

The boy returned past the hospital garden and sat on a park bench. Looking left and right is like looking.
Meanwhile Allena and Valendino are enjoying their lunch. Valendino asks if Allena will tell Zefano's disease to Zefran.
"Zeno wasn't recognized by the family, I don't think they would care" Allena replied.
"I don't think it's like that, Zefran couldn't have rejected his own son. It was just a misunderstanding and you were too vengeful for him" Valendino said.
"So don't you hear Mrs Frisca's words? He said my son was an illegitimate child and Brother Zefran did not deny it at all" Allena said.
"I don't think it's just Frisca, I'm sure Mommy and Zefran think that way either" Valendino said.
"Why not? They saw negative DNA test results. Of course they thought so too, they just didn't say it" Allena explained with a sullen face.
"Dna test? You guys did a DNA test? Until that serious?" ask Valendino.

"But don't worry, Zefran has decided to divorce Frisca" Valendino said.
"What?" allena asked in shock.
"Yes, the day you were kicked out by Frisca, Zefran told me about Bobby who stabbed him in the Night Club that night" Valendino told the story.
"Who's Bobby?" ask Allena.
"Frisca's affair, even the father of the child Frisca is carrying right now" Valendino said.
"What's? Miss Frisca cheated? Do not accuse. I know what it's like to be accused like that. It hurts so much, Brother Zefran should no longer accuse his wife carelessly like that," said Allena disagreed with Zefran's attitude.
"You should be happy that Frisca was divorced by Zefran. Doesn't she hate you?" ask Valendino.

"It's not just Allena's accusation, Bobby himself revealed it" Valendino said.

Allena and Valendino return to Zefano's in-patient room after finishing lunch together. Walking around laughing as Valendino recounts Zefano putting him to shame in front of a female doctor at the hospital.

"Allena?"
Allena and Valendino were shocked when they heard someone calling Allena. At once they turned their bodies turned towards the direction of the voice. Surprised as he looked at Zefran who was standing looking at them.
"You're together? From where?" asked Zefran in a slow tone.
Allena and Valendino looked at each other and were ambushed.
"Where from? Of course from home, I deliberately invited Allena to visit you," Valendino replied with a smile.
"Where are you going? My room was there" Zefran asked and pointed behind him.
"Oh, I forgot, I did have a hard time recognizing the directions in the hospital. Where are you going yourself?" asked Valendino to walk up to Zefran.
"I want to go to an acquaintance's inpatient room, he's a little kid. I was planning to visit him in his room, ", explained Zefran as he looked at Allena.
"Are you going there now?" ask Valendino.
Zefran looked at Allena, the girl he missed was in plain sight. The man was confused, wanting to invite Allena to visit Zefano or return to his room and hug the girl he missed as much as he could.
