Shall Under Your Charm
Chapter 64

"Looking at the present situation, marriage is something impossible." The phrase Gege makes Farah really down.

Occasionally during their conversation, Farah covered her face with one hand, feeling frustrated. Farah sadly said, "If this is what love feels like.... Does it always feel this sick? How can people survive? You can't imagine what it's like this afternoon for me when Ryan hugs me, whispers love words to me and kisses me then Ryan pulls away, laughs, and shakes."

"Ryan trembled, then what about you?" ask Gege.

"I want to puke. Afterwards, Ryan was very kind and gentle. His attitude just makes things feel worse. If this is what love is, then I don't like it." Farah raised her head, and the dim light showed tears at the tip of Farah's nose. Wiping her tears with her sunburned arms, Farah said, "I promised myself not to cry, so you can forget about these tears." The second tear replaced the previous one. "This one too." Farah gave a sad grin. "It's not gonna happen to me every time I kiss a guy, is it?"

"Are you planning to kiss a lot of men?".

"You're crazy" said Farah chuckling softly.

Farah would not cry. Tears, which are in fact common, are evidence of human expressions of sadness and sanity, and the emptiness that lies within Farah seems to have nothing to do with normal human processes. Farah didn't feel like losing someone she loved, or feel like her legs were paralyzed - she was better able to cope with it. It is like dying before being born. The pain felt everywhere, penetrating his skin. But what was inside him was only the frozen image of his soul, unwilling to acknowledge the deep suffering he felt. But this suffering is bad enough. He did not want to feel any worse suffering.

"Maybe I'd kiss a lot of guys, if I could figure out how to keep them quiet not moving."

"You won't be hard at getting men to work together. Just ask anyone. You'll find yourself lying down more than a bee sting." Gege.

"Do you want to kiss me, Ge?" farah asked, and almost laughed out loud when she saw Gege's facial expression.

"Just one little kiss?"

"Oh my God." Gege's eyes widened slightly, and the light made Gege's irises look more shiny. "I never give you a little kiss?"

"All right then. Beggars cannot ask much. I'll accept whatever you offer. You know, if you argue again, I'll feel really sad. You told me yourself that all men would want to fulfill my one request." Farah.

"If you think I can get Ryan out of your head with my kiss...."

"I don't think so, I don't think so!" Farah's timid face flashed mischievously. "I just want to compare."

"Sir," Gege scolded with a grin, and slowly descended from the porch. "I'll tell you something. I'll kiss you, to clear up the confusion that's in your head."

Farah's heart beat fast, as she leaped down with the help of Gege, though her lips turned a grin, and when Gege turned towards Farah, she could no longer hold back her giggling. Trying to stop her giggling was like trying to push the foam into a bottle, and the laughter still colored Farah's voice, as she said, "Where do you want me to stand?"

"It doesn't matter if you stand where you are now" Gege replied.

"And what do you want me to do?".

"Nothing" continued Gege. "I'll do it. Whatever to do."

"Does he have to close his eyes?"

Farah remembered that Gege would only emphasize the lips above her lips, so Gege's hand caress on her cheek opened her eyes in surprise. Gege's head slightly lowered, and Farah saw Gege's gaze growing more focused. One of Gege's hands was raised to remove the hair from Farah's forehead, and Gege's eyes darkened as his fingertips went down the sensitive part of Farah's ear.

With another man, Farah would definitely feel frightened, but this was Gege and he knew in a pure and lustless manner. Gege's hand stroked Farah's face, searching and slowly calming her tense nerves, knowing where, how long, how many caresses she needed. Farah's skin blushed under Gege's touch.

In Farah's nose, Gege's hands wiped away the forgotten tears. The glittering tears gathered at Gege's fingertips and the young man swept him gently over Farah's lips and blew them dry. One of Gege's hands supports the back of Farah's neck the other cupped Farah's cheek, as Gege ducked to kiss Farah.

"And now" Gege sighed, "You must open your mouth." Gege's thumb began to move slowly over Farah's frozen jaw muscles

"It's just me, Farah, open your mouth for me." A gentle kiss pressed down on Farah's lips, and the lips opened to let Gege venture deeper.

When Gege lets Farah let go of their lips, Farah gives him a confused look that will stay months in Gege's dream. Then Farah turned her face to stare at the scene that was beginning to fade by the darkness of the night, breathing rapidly, carefully Gege placed his hands on Farah's waist and buried his face in the skin beside Farah's neck. Gege stood like that for a while, then released Farah completely, and leaned on the veranda with his legs crossed.

For Farah the kiss felt like an open portal and she could catch a glimpse of another Gege life. It was a surprisingly short, light, seductive kiss, and was peppered with unexpected pleasure. If given more time, Gege might be able to evoke a response from Farah.

Does Gege feel the same pleasure he gave Farah? it was a question that could only be answered by a person with more extensive experience than himself. There's no way he could compare Ryan's kiss to Gege's.

For Ryan, kissing has always been a satisfying need, while for Gege, it was just a tedious task. In silence, Gege's hands find and begin to caress the grooves in Farah's arms. Farah shook Gege's hand. "You've already confirmed your point. Don't exaggerate. I know when I'm being taught a lesson."

"Including the lesson of not giving your lips to all the men in front of you?" gege asked with a joking tone. "But what do you think?"

"You know very well what I think," Farah said firmly. "And don't pretend you don't know. Now I want to know what happens next. I mean, after kissing".

"Well, I won't show you that. You must have had a shadow of your own."

"Of course, I have a shadow. But, my God, what if it makes me shocked? What if I run out of my wedding bed half-crazy?"

"That," Gege said in a soft tone, "is most likely going to actually happen."

Perhaps not many people have ever explained the facts of life in the words of the beginning: "Now, listen and pay attention, can I?- I do not want to repeat it dozens of times. Moreover, if you do not like what I tell you, do not complain and scold me. I didn't design this world."

Supposedly, Farah knew that Gege's vocabulary for such a thing was not the same as Farah's, and after several startling experiences, Farah said, "Ge, please, do you have to use those words"

Patiently Gege asked Farah what kind of words Farah preferred and when Farah said them hesitantly, Gege grimaced and commented, "Where is an adult woman who uses those words to refer to her own body parts? Farah, even babies haven't used those words since their third birthday."

The next conversation was able to ease the tension of the two of them. Farah argued more and more, but Gege could make Farah obedient if she wanted to. But he suspected that Gege would not be forthright about this information if Gege was fully conscious, and that prevented Farah from escaping from the porch out of shame.

In the end, their conversation was over, and although Gege gave no further explanation to some of the things he considered unimportant, Gege's explanation was quite detailed, clear, and varied. After Gege explained everything there was to know about Farah's question, Farah widened her eyes as wide as possible so Gege was forced to say, "Geez. With what you know, you're gonna get your husband out of your bridal bed half-crazy."
