In the morning, Farah wakes up in a sturdy bed in Ryan's room, which she already considers her own. The sunlight came through the open window and the wind blew into the room which made Farah realize that she missed this room.
Gege sat on the bed and it seemed like Gege had been there for quite a long time. Gege's body weight pressed against the mattress at Farah's feet. Gege supported his own body with his elbows, his shirt open up to his waist. The light of the lamp made Gege's figure look softer, making his body glow with a white luster and making his cheekbones appear to be blushing with his sensuality. Gege's eyes stared as he sharply judged Farahb, as if he could draw information from Farah's mind. Gegeb waited patiently until Farah spoke first, and Farah would definitely do so if she could think of something clever to say. Finally, Gege shrugged and handed Farah a glass from the table. While observing Gege from the edge of the glass, Farah drank the contents and made a disgusted expression.
"Curl! What'sthat?" ask Farah.
"Don't ask. I see you're much thinner. I think after weeks of staying at the headquarters, you already know to always eat no matter what. If you roll over on your stomach, I can definitely put an egg on your back and it won't roll over."
Farah felt Gege pull his nightgown to get rid of his legs. Farah smiled on the pillow as Gege treated the insect bite scars with cold alcohol on her skin. Gege's hands felt deft and soft.
"It should be, they're doing something about the insect problem on the islands around here" Farah said."Will definitely increase the growth of the industry."
"I don't care about the industry that has to be improved. You've suffered enough for it yourself."
When he finished, Gege went to the bedside and pushed Farah to lie down and the man sat down beside Farah holding both sides of her waist. The expression on Gege's face could definitely make Farah's four-month-old self frightened.
"I wish you could stop doing crazy things" Gege said. While laying her head on the pillow, Farah tried to give Gege a soothing smile. However, there was no response from Gege. So, Farah imitated one of the mean rude hand signals she learned from Gio.
"That" Gege said dryly, "not even the right finger to do it."
Farah could feel her smile begin to turn into a ringing. "Are you going to tell me how glad you are to see me again?"
"No." Gege's head movements were so intense. "I wish you'd made it to your hometown. Of course, with Mike, it's impossible. Did Ryan tell you how we found you?" After Farah shook her head in response no, Gege continued. "A few months ago, Mike once showed Will a pathetic piece of paper he called a map. Thank goodness Will is a smart man. He only looked at the map for a few seconds, but he could depict it again based on memories. The reason why it took us so long to find you was because we spent days finding Satan Place and terrorizing its inhabitants, before Keith thought about turning the map around. And that's what brought us to you, intentionally. Gio and Will are trying to spread the story that Mike broke down your bedroom door and forced you to go with him."
Farah's eyes widened. "Did Ryan pretend to believe it?"
Hope has vanished. There was no way Farah could sit without hitting Gege's body. Farah squirmed to try to lean on the head of the bed. "What do the other men think?"
With a graceful gesture, Gege turned his head slightly back. "We spent two weeks looking for you" Gege said. "It was two weeks without income, without even trying to find income. The decision to look for you has been agreed upon by all of the Dark Devils' men, because they know you are with an unreliable person. But no one likes it if their income is reduced. And there's also some missing gold, which everyone suspects Mike took. But can you make it that he took it, not you?".
"Well." yeah." Merry smiled cheerfully. Every nerve feels alive and jerked. "I don't think everyone likes me anymore!"
"really?" gege said nonchalantly. "From what Gio told me in secret, last night you managed to convince Ryan."
From a cheerful smile, it turned into a flaming rage. "If Gio tells you that's the reason why....."
Gege. "Gio didn't say such a thing to me because, given how innocent he was, it never occurred to him that you and Ryan never slept together. It's part of your protection, to make everyone think you belong to Ryan completely, and no one but Keith, me and maybe Old Man Yanka, knows the truth."
As he moved away from Farah, Gege raised the glass of herbal tea the young man gave to Farah and held it casually. "Overnight, if not to convince Ryan, then for what?"
Then, after seeing the gaze that Farah gave him, Gege said, "Listen, I don't want to discuss it either. But since no one else has told you, it's better that I say it. I turned around, took a breath, and every time I turned my head towards you, your feelings deepened towards Ryan. Aren't you? Then about last night......?"
"Listen Farah.., If any dog came last night and took me away from the island, I would kiss the dog, too" Gege continued with annoyance.
Why, of all people, should Gio be chosen to catch him with Ryan and tell Gege? Gege, who has several times confirmed that for a woman who claims to hate Ryan, he is too often found in the man's arms. Gege's eyes and mind were indeed very sharp. In the end, desperation forces him to confess to Gege all the shameful and destructive things he feels for Ryan. Today, he still has to pretend he doesn't care, even though Gege may already be able to see his true heart.
Farah came down from the bed and stood with her bare feet, facing towards Gege. "Come on. Tell me. Why would kissing Ryan make this disaster worse?".
