Shall Under Your Charm
Chapter 61

Farah looked at Ryan who was walking by her side. In his mind, he wondered why Ryan had not spent any more time with him lately? The only safe way at this time is to give a relaxed response or throw a joke so that the situation is not awkward.

"You know? I'm actually a jellyfish cursed by witches to be a girl, and that's why you can see me see through on a clear morning."

"I'm ready to look inside you" said Ryan gently, smiling at Farah, "Now is the right time."

Ryan's words imply promise. Ryan knew the right way to break the curse. And Farah wants Ryan to do it. (God! Even though he won't admit it.) Feeling awkward and uncomfortable by her own thoughts, Farah laughed half-heartedly and got a smile reply from Ryan, who was able to make her bones as soft as cream.

In a relaxed manner, Ryan said, "I'm sorry. But you can't expect me to be disinterested in a project as awesome as finding a way to turn you into-"

"Jellyfish" continued Farah. "Don't worry. No one has the talent to do it more than you. However, Farah's tone of voice implied sadness.

Ryan is a sensitive person, and is capable of catching

farah's sadness, that's why Farah switched the subject.

Because everything happened so quickly, Farah could not decide if Ryan's motive was just boredom, pity, or something more complicated.

Ryan's canoe was tied among the bushes on the shore, and there were a lot of leaves and red berries that fell into the canoe, due to the rain that fell throughout the afternoon. Ryan and Farah worked together to clean it up.

Once on the water, after passing through the high waves, their canoes run quietly like they are gliding on a glass surface. The clear water below them whispered softly, other than the sound of the paddle that Ryan was paddling with, the atmosphere was very quiet. The heat of the sun shone directly, as they floated past the seagulls. Pelicans are busy foraging, not distracted by their presence.

The day before, Ryan had already dropped down a special basket to trap the fish. In the distance, the sunlight reflected on the surface of the water made the basket look glittering, and they approached it slowly, heading to the limestone cave which in the front was covered in a grass carpet. The starfish clings to the edge that juts out into the sea and fish with awesome colors swim and spin under the reflection of sunlight.

Will had made them lunch, and Farah put her hand in the picnic basket to pick up a long, peeled cane. Farah leaned against the end of the canoe, ignoring the movement of the canoe that swept the waves beneath her and the exposure of sunlight that entered through the layers of her clothes to warm her breasts and legs. Farah made a wreath of flowers and placed it over her head, and the braid slumped forward as Farah lowered her head to grab the cane in her hand. Farah brought the cane to her lips, then bit it to remove the sweet liquid, and sucked it slowly. A refreshing sweet liquid flowed down his throat. A few drops flowed to the side of her pink lips and Farah immediately licked them with her tongue.

Across Farah, Ryan watched as he took a breath, which made Farah turn her attention to Ryan. Ryan's eyes were engulfed in the flames of passion, a forgotten smile on Ryan's lips. With a not-so-accurate idea of what was going on in Ryan's mind, Farah smiled back, straightened her body to make the flower on her head fall to her forehead, and said casually, "Do you want to share this cane with me?."

"Other times," replied Ryan without taking his eyes off Farah's face.

The fish basket Ryan prepared was a box of woven rattan with a narrowed mouth, a trap for the sea creatures who were not careful. Ryan lifted the rope that bound the basket, and as the basket came out of the water, they could see inside it were four fish. Ryan described the fish to Farah. One fish is white with red spots, a pink fish, and two snappers, with a golden belly and yellow fins. Farah could clearly see that the fish did not like to be taken out of the water, just as Farah did not like to be thrown in it.

"What," said Farah hesitantly, "after you have caught those beautiful fish, will you release them?"

Ryan's sneer implied the man thought Farah was joking. While rolling the rope, Ryan said, "They feel as good as they seem."

Farah observes Ryan's deft hand, while picking up the jellyfish stuck in the basket and returning it to the sea.

"I don't think I enjoy the delicacy of the fish I met in person" said Farah gloomily as she stuck her hand out to the side of the canoe and dipped it in seawater.

Ryan's eyes turned to Farah's wet fingers and followed the graceful line of her arms to the shoulder grooves, before moving onto a pretty face with a flower crown, lowered eyelashes and touching reddish cheeks - and a tiny nose. Farah's face looked cheerful, but it wasn't a face that Ryan thought could affect her to this magnitude.

Ryan's little nose is wrinkled naughty. "Huh. It's only one and a half feet."

"Geez, that fish is two feet, maybe even more than an inch."

"One foot nine inches," said Farah, "and that was my last offer."

Farah's attitude is very relaxed, very cheerful, but there is an instinct inside Ryan who says that for Ryan all this is not a game. Farah intended to test it.

Looks like Farah thought of the fish as her symbol of captivity. Ryan had never met anyone as sentimental as Farah. What was even more amazing was how Farah's innocent mind could endure for weeks at the Dark Devil headquarters and come into direct contact with the rude men at the headquarters like Eric and Sanders.... and of course, himself.

Ryan carried the thought through his finger, as he opened the lid of the box and put it again into the calm water. One by one the fish inside swam out.

Meanwhile, Farah continues to resist the urge to drap her arms around Ryan's neck and showers Ryan's brown hair with a kiss. But that action will definitely make the canoe shake and possibly reverse. Ryan's grin looks stuck. Shaking her head slowly, Ryan began to laugh, and Farah laughed along until her crown shook and fell over her eyes.

Approaching an uphill coastline surrounded by coconut trees and pear plants that have begun to flower and bear fruit, their canoes move slowly. While gazing in awe at the beautiful scenery around her, Farah gasped as Ryan reminded her that the heat was getting stinging and that Farah should cover her arms and face, because only God knows what Gege will do to Ryan, if Ryan takes Farah home in a sunburn. Wrapping her hat and scarf, Farah observed Ryan leaning down, lowering the fishing line that was equipped with bait into the sea.

"If something eats my bait," Ryan said as he looked at Farah with a casual look, and stuck his long, straight leg forward, "May I keep it if it turns out he's ugly?" ryan said ambiguously.
