Romance In Makara Orange
At Oods with Someone

^Weird Friendship

Kosara Dwinanta

Intentionally at seven o'clock in the morning Kosa came to the boarding house Vira just to deliver one box of her favorite Betawi chicken porridge. Hoping this morning Vira's mood had improved and breakfast porridge made Vira's lecture spirit today. But the aunt of the boarding guard said that it turns out Vira had left for campus since six in the morning. This left Kosa shocked and trying to guess what reason caused Vira to leave for campus this early.

Kosa rushes back to her boarding house and prepares to head for campus to find Vira. Kosa was waiting in the H.504 room where Vira went to college this morning. Mba Evi, South Asia lecturer entered at eight o'clock and the class was full. But Vira was invisible in his view. Kosa waited until eight o'clock after fifteen minutes but Vira never came to class. Kosa left Building H with shaky steps and full of question marks about the whereabouts of Vira.

Kosa walked to the MBRC library which was not yet opened. Some cleaning staff were still busy wiping the glass and mopping the floor. It seems like Vira is not possible there. Kosa then towards the study program room, there is a large table there that is often used by students to learn and discuss. And it turns out Vira wasn't there either.

Kosa decided to sit for a moment in the Prodi room. There is only Mas Tarman, an office boy, who pacing back and forth to check the cleanliness of the room and Mas Bachtiar, Staff Prodi. At least Kosa waited here until the meeting with Mr. Irsyam and Mas Syahran at the Study Center began at ten. The staff of the Study Center themselves had not come and the door was still tightly locked. It seemed to have only opened shortly before the meeting began.

There's not much Kosa does in the Prodi room. His mind floated where Vira was. Reading a book alone cannot concentrate much less write. He looked at it second by second the clock turned. It sounded so slow yet definitely towards the number ten he was waiting for.

When it was about to come out, it was visible to Kosa's eyes, the figure of the man who opened the thick glass door of the Prodi Room. He is not a political student. But it may be that the graduate student of Politics is wrong to enter the room because the graduate program is located right next to the undergraduate program Either the face of the man feels familiar in the mind of Kosa. Reminds him of someone he himself forgot. But he did not think too much about it because he had to immediately go to the meeting room of the Study Center.

The meeting related to the elections simultaneously did make Kosa excited because as promised earlier that Kosa will be the field coordinator for the four provinces. Even if he graduated this semester, he would still be involved in this research. Two new researchers joined. One researcher, Mas Andi from the Sociology department who likely focused on the quantitative approach used and another, Mas Tito from Anthropology who will help the cultural approach. Looks like Kosa will learn a lot from this research. However, Vira's business still stuck in his mind.

Suddenly the chat message sounded. From Danu his best friend. Message in the form of a photo of a woman who is very familiar with a man wearing a closed helmet was riding a sports motorcycle. Vira's face was so clear. Kosa looked at the meeting room ceiling while sighing long.

“Ah crazy, Vir really, let's hang out in the hallway to the toilet kayak gini. Like alay children do not have money,” complained Bagas.

“This is the third floor, not many who use this toilet, most mall employees only who pass here,” replied Vira.

“Sepi is quiet but not like this either. Mending in the hotel anyway Vir, mind lo do not pervert, in the hotel there is a restaurant or cafe too and relatively quiet. So good for chatting.”

“Eh, you should know this is the student playground. It's not my perverted mind, but if people squirm at you just as I enter a hotel, their mind that I can't prevent. I don't want them to think that makes my name so bad.”

“Repot really so you, all the thoughts of people use thought, a waste of time,” cetus Bagas cynical.

“Yeah, whatever! You want to tell me what else I am. My mood is good again!”

“Lo likes Mas Adjie?” tanya Bagas who made Vira go silent for a long time.

“Hhmm, I'm not really sure how I feel. Maybe because I'm not the type to fall in love easily, so it's also difficult to answer your questions.”

“Elu have a boyfriend koq can not be sure that? Do you not love your girlfriend?”

“Please, I don't like that. Not your business also I want to love what is not the same as my girlfriend,” replied Vira Ketus.

“Sorry.”

“Gue does not know at all if your brother wants a fiancee. I've only met a few times and you don't have to worry, I'm not a jerk who likes to disturb people's relationships.”

“Actually that's not what I meant to meet you. Since I met you yesterday, I know your koq is a good girl. I just want to know why Mas Adjie likes you.”

“Hahaha, lo it's similar to my sister the Mirna, the innate kepo the same affairs of her brother.”

“Mas Adjie was first for the sake of Mba Ayu to fight Mr. Mother. After a long time Mba Ayu died, this time Mas Adjie dared to volunteer again. I as his sister obviously want to know who the girl who can make Mas Adjie so,” said Bagas while laughing.

“Kakak lo it really ruined me.”

"Eh Vir, really you slept with Mas Adjie?”

“Iissshh, bego really lo. I mean it's not that. Brother lo it makes my relationship with my boyfriend so chaotic. I'm thinking of hindarin him. I'm starting to like, uh fiancee. Really ruined my feelings.”

“Elu bego, just so doang you say wrecked. Choose the right word. Damaged it if your virginity is snatched or you are beaten to battered, just called wrecked!”

“Elu thought it was a distance.”

“But Vir, Mas Adjie it if you have the determination, no one can stop. I just want to give advice, if you are in love with Mas Adjie, you also have to fight with Mas Adjie. Your opponent is heavy, my mother.”

“Gue said yes, you thought it was a distance. I was in college, I already had a boyfriend, Mas Adjie's fiancee, Mba Lydia, Gani's sister who was very good with me. I also respect Gani as my best friend. And most importantly, Mr. Herman Sasongko was my intern boss. The value of my internship depends on Mr. Sasongko.”

“What? Do you want to work with Gani? Koq can?”

“The world is not as wide as moringa leaves turns out. I interned in the House of Representatives, it was a six-course lecture, like a thesis. I interned at Commission three, in Mr. Herman's office. Crazy right?”

“Hahaha, what a life you live, Vir. I swear, I can't imagine how it will be,” said Bagas while laughing.

“Ah, really lo style talking is not just a love affair, pret ah!” sindir Bagas's.

“Ember,” reply Vira short.

“If you are the same Mas Adjie, I am sure you will be happy. All your needs will be met. What you ask, what you want, just call it.”

“Means lo?” ask Vira

“Lo can stay in everything, no matter what else.”

Vira laughed at Bagas' statement. The longer it gets harder and makes Bagas look at Vira with a strange look.

“Koq you laughing? I'm serious about what I said!” cetus Bagas.

“Yes obviously I laughed, did I know what left it all? According to you, people like me need it like what until you dare say that Brother Lo can handle it all? Do you think I need to buy branded bags? The cosmetic? Luxury car? The gold? The diamonds? Guys like you might just meet girls who are willing to do anything for the sake of luxury. And you're wrong if I'm like them.”

“Eh, but it turns out to be true yes.... I see you from toe to tip of hair no one is branded. Yeaah, wonder also me why my brother likes the same girl as you. Still a student, unkempt, asking for nothing anyway. It's weird in my opinion!”

“Koq can the heck we feel the same? I don't know why your brother likes me. Just so you know, Brother Lo it's a little nakutin me.”

“Means lo?” tanya Bagas turned to look towards Vira.

“Gue don't want to be like a big-tasting little girl. But Brother lo it seems very serious chasing me even though I have repeatedly I love the sign of rejection.”

“Hahaha, I told you earlier that my brother if he already wants to be pursued until he can.”

“Creepy [seremin] no sisak lo?”

“Depends anyway. But don't girls like to be chased? Succeeded in your visit?”

“Hahaha, buset deh lo, it has no filter.”

“Yeah, be honest Vir. I won't judge your feelings koq.”

“Hahaha, how crazy have I been told to tell my feelings to someone who has only known me for four five hours? Who do you think feels like I can have a previlese with my feelings? You wish [don't expect]!” vira said with a cynical tone.

“Hahaha, what a shitty lu Vir! Pegel I have been chatting with you for a long time.”

“Judah anyway, don't do it anymore. You take it easy, you can tell your nyokap if you don't have to worry. I'm not going to mess up your sister's relationship with Mba Lydia.”

“You don't know what my mother is like. My mother will make sure of herself from your mouth Vir and not from me. So yes you may soon meet Mom,” said Bagas wanti-wanti.

“Oh gosh, really [ah, that's right]! Is it really like this if the rich fall in love with ordinary people? Hey, this is Indonesia, there’s no castle here [no caste here]. Koq, you guys are so complicated about people's romance. Your brother is a grown man, has never been married anyway, and affairs like this you still interfere?” sergeant Vira.

“Hahaha, yes so!” sahut Bagas while grinning and pretending to scratch his head.

“Gue is not afraid even though you will intimidate me, because there is nothing to be afraid of. But frankly, mending do not need to see all of you,” said Vira with a little upset. Feeling this kind of affair made him become like a defendant with such a huge mistake.

Bagas was silent to hear it. The woman who was sitting with her legs was seen breathing repeatedly. There was pity from him. Vira looks like an ordinary student but somehow looks so sweet when it comes to her self-esteem. A tough woman. The sight of a short needle in a watch attached to his left hand indicates the number four, soon Professor Rhenald's lecture will begin at five.

“Lo want me to take you home to the boarding house? It's four o'clock past. I have a five-hour class. All in one direction,” said Bagas offers a ride to Vira.

“Do not. Elu first. Let me ride the ojek online,” reject Vira.

-----------------------

Vira finds Kosa waiting for her on the porch of her boarding house. Smiling yet there was a sense of worry implied from his handsome face. The look in his eyes held a sense of longing as well as a sense of confusion.

“Abang,” said Vira lirih.

“Vir, just came home?” ask Kosa slowly.

Vira nodded slowly. It was not brave for Vira to look at the man in front of her. It was a great guilt that weighed on his back that was hard to uphold. His eyes were painful again and the water slowly drifted.

“Abang price. My brother wants to talk a lot. Vira have time?” ask Kosa. I don't know why there is an ambush sense of awkwardness from the words spoken.

Vira fell silent and remained downcast. His eyes repeatedly blinked for the tears in his eyes to disappear. Tetiba has a burly hand that grabbed him and then gently clasped his body. Vira could not stand in silence. His sobs began to sound and his tears began to fall profusely soaking the Sauce T-shirt that was attached to Vira's cheeks.

Kosa stared at the nanar as she sighed repeatedly. Letting Vira spill the taste in her chest, in her arms. I don't know what happened to Vira during her research that made her different. Kosa must know.
