Romance In Makara Orange
Under the Feet of Annapurna

The fog slowly began to disappear in front of Vira's eyes. But when Vira looked back, it was still and only a thick fog. As if there were different worlds and Vira stood between the two.

Vira's steps came to a halt when his eyes saw a sign that read Namaste, Welcome to Annapurna Base Camp 4130 with uppercase letters and some signs that read Sanskrit letters that he could not read.

Bobby's been waiting there while closing his body because of the cold. Just Bobby.

Instantly Bobby approached Vira with fairly quick footsteps and hugged her tightly.

“Elu succeeded Vir, you succeeded. Finally you get Vir,” said Bobby increasingly tightened his embrace.

“Bi, pain Bi.” Vira tried to relax Bobby's embrace.

“Gue scared Vir earlier you why-why. I went back to nyariin you and did not meet.”

“Iya Bi, yes. I'm scared too. I call you no answer,” replied Vira. There was a slight sobbing heard from his voice.

Bobby hugged her tightly. Gave a hint of warmth to his shivering body since just now.

Bobby took him through a curved archway decorated with hay from a dry barley plant. Walk towards the stairs that lead to the lodge of their lodging place.

Sandeep greeted them at the entrance of the lodge. Bobby and Vira immediately join the team that already occupies the table near the kitchen entrance. There are already two glasses of hot lemon ginger on the table. For him and Bobby. Sandeep ordered it.

Vira was still shivering despite having one glass of warm ginger honey lemon. Vira asks Sandeep to order it back. It was two glasses but Vira's body was still shivering.

“Vir, you're okay right?” tanya Mas Dody watched Vira whose teeth were grinding at each other.

“Ne, see the Vira. I think he has signs of hypothermia deh,” said Mas Dody to Mas Une.

“Outer layer¬ it was opened first Bi, please. Trus Dod, get Sarkar to unload Vira's backpack, get the jacket down. Which brown, wind oil did you use? It helps balurin to his back and stomach. I bought rum first,” Mas Une command that makes one team move.

Mas Dody approached Sarkar who was sitting in the kitchen area and then Sarkar half ran out of the room.

Without Vira's permission, Mas Cokro's hand that had been stolen by the wind oil began to move smearing into Vira's back and stomach. Enter into Vira's shirt and touch Vira's cold skin. Bobby just kept watching it.

Sarkar enters the room and gives down the army green jacket to wear Vira. Bobby put it up.

Mas Une came and approached them, carrying a small bottle of rum and a glass of sloki. Rum is only a quarter sloki.

“Drink Vir, this makes your body anget,” orders Mas Une.

“No want Mas, Vira can not drink it,” reject Vira.

“Drink fast, this is the fastest effect. If not, ntar your body can drop, can heart failure because your lungs are damaged,” orders Mas Une with a loud tone.

“Mas, can not mas,” reject Vira while continuing to fatten her teeth because of shivering.

“Drink,” orders Mas Une once again with a high tone that hints at no want of rejection from Vira.

Vira finally forced herself to drink rum with a frowning face. Bitterer. Vira doesn't like it. All the mas-mas climbers, including Sandeep, Sarkar, and Satya saw and noticed him. A little bit of a bitch. Bobby hugged her from the side again.

Vira felt the effect quickly. In just a few minutes, his body suddenly warmed up. Released hugs Bobby and down jacket¬ that makes it sultry. And leave his thin body that is only wrapped in a base layer attached to his skin.

“Udah okay?” ask Mas Une

Vira nodded and smiled.

“Buset deh, Ne, that was the Vira you love how much sloki?” mas Dody asked Une while laughing, noticing Vira's behavior turning hyperactive.

“Gw love quarter sloki,” replied Mas Une while grinning.

“Tuh child never drink like, koq so flirtatious like that,” said Mas Dody laughed.

Vira's sagging spoiled on Bobby's shoulder. Playing Bobby's fingers while laughing, raving indistinctly. Talk about everything. About Kosa, about her longing for Mama, about her frustration with Papa, about Bobby, about everything on her mind.

“Bi, let's Bi let's sleep,” invite Vira spoiled while tugging on the outer layer that Bobby uses.

“Nih child, if I ngajak I sleep fit again not mabok, I've been working nih!” snort Bobby.

“Bi, let's sleep, sleep, ayooo, but later don't kiss Vira again. Anyway want to sleep, don't want to be kissed, come on,” rag Vira while tugging at Bobby's arm.

Sandeep, Sakar, and Satya, and almost everyone in the lodge started laughing, noticing Vira's drunk and spoiled behavior.

“Buset Bi, you are crazy yes, mainin kids people carelessly. There was Bi the Vira. Don't play crazy ah,” said Mas Une who was shocked to hear Vira's rapport.

“Eh, not Mas, I swear, I'm nothing but a son,” elak Bobby defend himself.

“Buset deh Vir, your behavior is like a campus chicken anyway kayak gini,” Bobby's hanker.

“Vir, let's go to room. Wake up spout, do not spindle mulu, pegel nih my shoulder.”

“Vir, wake.”

“Vir.”

“It looks like the Vira has slept Bi, has not moved the child,” said Mas Dody.

“Buset, yes sleep turned out.”

“Paricious use snoring all.”

I don't know what happened last night, Vira completely forgot. Samar only remembered that he was forced to drink rum because his body was still shivering.

This morning Vira woke up fresh. Although it was cold because around the lodge lay a line of snow-covered Annapurna mountain, but it was not felt at all. There was not the slightest drowsiness left.

After cleaning himself in the toilet, Vira rushed back to the room to wake up the other climbers.

“Mas Une, wake up, sunrise stretch [sunrise]!”

“Obi, game wake up. Sleep is his job. Mas Dody, Mas Cokro, let's get up!”

Vira exited the room and started to climb a little to a higher place. Towards the monument decorated with colorful cloths containing mantras and prayers from the religion of the local people. There are many other climbers who are here to wait for the sun to rise.

The sun started to slowly come out. His light gave light to the mountain top first. The atmosphere around the lodge and the landmark is still rather dark. When the circle of the sun had emerged from behind Annapurna, all became bright.

Seen in front of the lodge, under Annapurna's feet, Mas Cokro was staring at Vira.

Vira was so satisfied. The climb in Annapurna was perfect. A aura of happiness emanated from his face. Vira's day humming.

Even after sunrise Vira immediately made a call to Kosa. It turned out that it was still dawn there and the signal in the village was not too strong, the sound received was also intermittent. Finally Vira wrote more messages and included photos

[Abang, Vira made it to Annapurna Base Camp]

There are some photos sent to Kosa. Most photos with snowy mountain background that the distance looks so close. It is like a snore when viewed from a photo.

At breakfast, Vira's appetite peaked again. The order of tuna fried rice with topping eggs plump with beef eyes and warm sweet tea.

There were mas-mas climbers all, and also Mas Cokro although Vira still remembers the taste of tobacco on his lips. Not to forget Sandeep, Sarkar and Satya were greeted.

“Happy very Vir, kayak abis won the lottery,” said Mas Une while yawning.

Not only Mas Une who looks still sleepy. But also Mas Dody and Bobby. Only the Cokro mas looks neat and fit.

It turns out that it is still too early to wake up, because according to Sandeep, the journey down Annapurna to the Bamboo area can start at 10 am because the path home is faster and shorter. They should still be glued.

Some foreign climbers started breakfast and their backpacks were neatly arranged in one corner of the restaurant. They seem ready to go down.

“Vira, are you ready to go down? You can go down with helicopters, it costs four hundred dollars. I will reserve it if you want to [Vira, are you ready to go down? You can take a helicopter, it costs 400 dollars, I will order it if you want],” Sandeep said.

“No way Sandeep, I better go to this mountain again rather than loose my money for helicopter [Ogah, Sandeep. Mending up the mountain again rather than spending money to ride a helicopter],” replied Vira while grimacing to imagine how expensive the cost of a helicopter ride.

“I’m okay Sandeep, don’t worry [I'm healthy koq, don't worry],” continued Vira again.

“Bener Vir, from the money for the helicopter mending to treat us-us,” Bobby chirped.

“Means Bi?” Vira doesn't understand

“Make fare shut up,” said Bobby who made mas climbers laugh out loud.

“Crazy lu Bi, the son of a bullied man,” says Mas Une.

“What the hell are you guys doing?” Vira doesn't understand.

“Yaudah his meal was finished there. Ntar also understands,” reply Bobby.

“Iiih, very nice indeed Bi.” Vira scowled spoiled.
