Romance In Makara Orange
There's No Such Thing as a Free Lunch

^There Is Nothing Only in This World

Friday morning was so bright. Oxygen production from the campus green forest provides a refreshing sweet gentle gust.

Vira has been present to accompany Kosa in his proposal hearing in the Meeting Room of Building B 2nd Floor. The proposal session was only attended by thesis supervisor, chairman and secretary of the department. Usually the proposal hearing is always closed but Kosa asks permission for Vira to be allowed in.

Vira watched the trial. As always, Kosa never seems to have trouble answering any questions regarding data and logic thinking in his proposal. Everything flows. This hour-long trial ruled that his proposal could proceed without the need for repairs.

“Abang cool, no repair, bad cool!” vira said stunned after the proposal testers had left the room.

Kosa smiled. “You want to eat at Takor? It's still nine. Going straight to Kuningan right? Departure at eleven.”

Vira nodded. “Bang, I think Vira needs a shirt! I also bought a blazer. Mr. Faisal said, Mr. Herman likes meetings with such officials so asked to use a blazer to be more polite.”

“Vira want your brother to buy?”

“Besok Brother is busy? Same meeting as Matsuoka Sensei?” ask Vira.

“Not busy, his last meeting today will be a little afternoon, at least two hours.”

The takor canteen at nine this morning is still quiet. This Makara orange campus student does come in the morning just for college, rarely hanging out from morning. But if it is above twelve o'clock during the day until night, the campus is even more crowded. Vira and Kosa took the table at the very end close to the pool.

Vira ordered the memorable imbi rice. The menu made Vira feel there was something else with Kosa, more than just juniors and seniors. Because of this imbi rice gossip appeared about himself and Kosa.

“Smiles are so Vir. What else to think?” tanya Kosa watched over Vira's gurgle.

“Udah long time no eat here, so inget many sweet memories.”

“Older numbers are like that, especially later if you are an alumni.”

Vira laughs. “Gak feels old, new feeling yesterday so maba.”

“But you're three years older than Vira, right? So now it's old dong?”

“Hahaha, you want to know about age. Brother always feels as young as Vira.”

“Means Brother this year 24 years huh? Ih, it's so old!”

“That's the golden days of the guy, again his handsome.”

“Hahaha, what did you say!”

From UI Station, Vira got off at Tebet and continued by busway to Kuningan area. The streets are not too jammed because it may be in conjunction with the Friday Prayer preparation. Vira got off at the Kuningan Rubber stop and walked towards the Ministry Building.

Vira looked at the digital clock that was coiled around her wrist. Still showing at one o'clock in the afternoon. Vira went into the lobby and waited there after being allowed to enter by the security section at the front door.

He sent a message to Mr. Faisal to tell him that Vira had arrived at the building according to the location sent. Long awaited Mr. Faisal never returned his message. Vira is alone in the lobby. Knocking his shoes to the floor was so bored.

At two or less ten minutes Mr. Faisal replied to his message which made Vira shocked.

Vir, move to Westin. Waiting at the Lobby Lounge.

Vira immediately searched and found the Westin Hotel which turned out to be a kilo away from where he was. There are several alternatives offered in the maps app to reach Hotel Westin. Finally with more concise consideration Vira walked through the South Epicentrum.

Vira was five minutes late and half running. Mr. Faisal smiled at him as Vira approached.

“Sit Vir, Mr. Herman again in the Daily Treats. Koq can you get that dry? You walk here?”

“Hehehe, yes Sir. Deket koq.” Vira was still busy breathing.

“Other times to take a taxi online only, cheap and fast koq!”

“Siap Sir! Mr Faisal is not with Mr Herman?” vira asked astonished to see Mr. Faisal alone.

“We are here only, they have important talks. Later you learn yes related to the types of meetings Mr, let later know how to handle it!”

“Good Sir!” exclaim Vira.

“Pak Faisal, if you may know why the place was moved Pak?” ask Vira.

“Yes sometimes like this. Those who set!”

“Oooh.” Vira nodded.

Vira just waited with Mr. Faisal in the lobby chair, alone. Mr. Faisal seemed to be smiling while his hands were busy typing. Vira wants to invite him to chat but is afraid to interfere with his affairs Mr. Faisal. Finally Vira busied herself.

Vira saw a beautiful graded brown marble floor, so shiny and reflected its shadow because it was illuminated by the light of a luxurious hanging chandelier. Looking around, there were only a few people who passed by and sat down.

The atmosphere is so cozy. No time has shown at four in the afternoon.

Mr. Herman and two uniformed officials came out of the elevator. Mr. Faisal who was followed by Vira approached them, smiled and bowed his body.

“Sal, later after this there are people from the ministry who will follow up. You take care of ya!” said Mr. Herman.

“Good Sir!” replied Mr. Faisal.

Mr. Herman then went out of the lobby and into the car that had been opened by the driver.

“Vir, I go home first! You be careful on the road!” said Mr. Faisal then headed towards the side of the car park. Leaving Vira alone.

“Good Sir! Be careful on the road too Sir!” reply Vira.

With a step of gontai, Vira out of the hotel location and start opening the maps application to find the location of the nearest station or busway stop to get home soon.

In his heart was so upset with today. Just sit still, nothing important is done. He was so excited to come. Vira thought he would see political lobbies between state officials but he did not.

Thinking about it again by Vira was indeed the meeting of Mr. Herman was so upsetting himself. If you just sit with him, Mr. Faisal can do it himself. No need to bring all Vira. If you need a friend so as not to wait alone, at least Vira was invited to chat and not just left alone.

His stomach is ringing. Remember the imbi rice he ate at nine this morning in the Takor canteen. Though earlier Vira thought he would be treated to eat with officials at a luxury hotel but it was not. I was hoping it turned out to be a zone. Ah, you base Vira, who are you to expect to be treated to eat with officials, his mind melengos.

Not strong enough to hold his hunger, Vira decided to stop by the Plaza Festival he passed by while walking from the South Epicentrum to Rasuna Said. Seen there are several young people who walked to the stairs entering the Plaza.

Cool air began to greet the skin as Vira walked into the Plaza. The lights reflect white and yellow light. There are many clothing boutiques that roll out their goods in the market, outside the store, luring Vira to see them.

But unfortunately, Vira's desire to wash her eyes was defeated with hunger that was held back since.

Vira does not need to linger looking for a restaurant because on the ground floor there is a restaurant that provides his favorite comfort food, oriental cuisine. The atmosphere of the restaurant is not too crowded because it is still five in the afternoon, not yet time for dinner.

Vira takes a seat inside because there is air conditioning rather than outside the balcony. Green chairs still do not seem to occupy much. Intentionally Vira took a place slightly inward, suitable for him who was eating alone.

Vira felt so excited to see a list that read the names of the menu that all he liked. Ordering several menus at once. Chili peppers beef tubmies, baby chrispy chickpeas, fried chicken siomay, and lemon iced tea.

By looking at the food presented, Vira felt able to spend it all. Try it first siomay fried chicken as an appetizer before heading to the main dish. It felt as good as the first time Vira tried it.

“Vir, Vira yes?!” there was a voice greeting him while eating bakmi with bamboo chopsticks.

With his mouth full, Vira looked up at the owner of the voice that greeted him. He saw a figure he knew, which was still fresh in his memory.

“Eeh, yes, Mas yesterday yes?” he replied with a full mouth while chewing bakmi quickly to immediately swallowed. I don't know if his voice sounds clear or not

“Koq can be here? Incidentally,” said Vira again when her mouth was empty with a tone of wonder.

“Eh yes, coincidence passed. There is also an appointment to meet here,” said the man.

“Can sit here huh?!” he said again that Vira had to answer with a nod.

Aduuuh, Vira is not thinking. Just met his father, and now with his son. Koq can? Vira forgot his name. Just remembered that the man sitting in front of him was a technical graduate at his college. Why also from so many empty tables, the son of his boss actually sat in front of him.

“Mas, sorry, can you know his name again? Vira forgot, sorry once again,” said Vira in a tone of shame and regret. Didn't mean that yesterday's meeting wasn't meant to be remembered.

The man was silent and then smiled. “Gani, Ganindra.”

Gani then rubbed his phone and soon Vira's phone located in front of his plate rang.

“That's my number, it might be saved to remember,” he said.

“Oh, good Mas.” Vira instantly kept her number with a astonished facial expression. It was named after the newly entered number with Ganindra Sasongko.

“Koq Mas can know my number?” asked Vira who had just realized that.

“Told Bu Fattmah,” replied Gani. Vira remembers this the ultimate answer Gani gave to every question Vira gave from yesterday.

Vira just nodded slowly even though it felt too strange with all these coincidences. Gani finds his desk located in the corner of the restaurant. Gani keeps Vira's number on her phone. I don't know what else Gani knows that will make Vira back in wonder.

Vira again ate his baknya which was delayed due to the presence of Gani. It seems Gani is also just sitting in front of him and busy with his phone. I want it to feel like Vira asked Gani to move because it had ruined her eating mood a little. But how could Vira do that to her boss' son.

He saw Gani who was checking his phone. Sometimes Gani looks outside the restaurant. It seems Gani is waiting for someone. Vira tetiba feels so bad leaving Gani without a chat.

“Mas Gani has eaten?” ask Vira

Gani looked straight at him. “So noon already after Friday prayers,” he said with a smile.

“Koq play is very much Mas, get to Kuningan here?”

Gani's eyes are rounded. “Means?”

“Koq can we meet here anyway? I think it's a coincidence. Moreover, the Vira table is a bit into Mas. That is so, it is still difficult to believe if you can meet here,” said Vira honestly.

“Oh, that, I live in Taman Rasuna Apartment, near here live on foot. You koq can come here? Not going to college or Senayan?”

“Barusan nemenin Mr and Mr. Faisal met the Kemenhukham people and stopped by here.”

“Hazard looks like,” Gani said with a smile.

“Hahaha...iya, it looks really Mas? Not lunch yet, very late so all together dinner so order a lot.”

Gani laughed at Vira's words. “Next Vir ate it. This koq agreement will soon also come.”

“Hahaha.sip Mas.”.

Vira goes back to eating while occasionally stealing glances at Gani. Gani is busy playing her phone and smiling to herself. I don't know what he read on his phone, maybe there's something funny.

Just as Vira was sipping lemon iced tea, Gani waved her hand at the female figure who stepped into the restaurant. Women who are tall, beautiful, and white, wearing black leggings for sports with a length of sebetis that is combined with the same shirt. Hair pigtailed. The woman returned Gani's hand and approached him.

Beautiful and mature women, thought Vira when she saw the figure of a woman who is now right in front of her. But Vira pretends to be busy with her glass so as not to look too curious about what is not her business.

“I am sorry to keep you waiting so long [sorry for your long wait],” the woman told Gani. There was a look of astonished face that the woman showed when she saw Vira sitting with Gani.

“It’s okay [no problem],” replied Gani short.

“Are you dating her [you're dating her again]?” the woman asked, pointing at Vira who made her almost choke and cough.

Gani immediately gives the tissue on the table to Vira. Feeling bad about the question she asked Vira.

“Vir, sorry. This knows Lydia, my sister,” said Gani trying to neutralize the situation.

“Oh, hello Kak.” Vira immediately got up and smiled. This turns out to be his boss's first child, his older brother Gani.

The woman smiled sweetly at Vira and looked at Gani.

“This is Vira, Papa's staff at the office. Intern student,” said Gani trying to explain about Vira.

“Gan, I think I know who she is [i think I know who she is],” said Lydia by keeping her eyes on Vira which made her misbehave.
