Tama
The corner of his lips impulsively formed an arch while his eyes were pounded on a slender figure shadow in the living room. The figure in a light blue dress, in line with the shirt he wore was chatting with female guests while occasionally chuckling. The design of living room doors and windows that can be opened as wide as possible, ensuring that they can observe the slightest movement freely.
"Can't get enough?" One sound accompanied by a puff of thin smoke filled the surrounding air. "After all night long?"
He grinned while changing his sitting position, but focused still in one direction. "Is she?" between there is and nothing. Questioning the status of the woman who had come with her best friend, and is now sitting next to a favorite figure in a light blue dress.
The white plume of smoke soaring the air became Armand's nonchalant response signal to his question. Among the five grandchildren, only the man nicknamed the media king attended the event to know him tonight. The other four were busy with their respective affairs, although no one sent the best bouquets and parcels.
Welcome to the jungle, brotha, so unique message on a piece of greeting paper that he had read before opening the event, tucked between a fresh rose bouquet of yellow. Wisaksana Soeriaatmaja, became the name of the sender that can be easily guessed.
“Born inner you are truly satisfied now.” Armand grinned. “All is good?”
“I feel great.” He nodded in agreement while turning his eyes towards the stage. One of his men was playing the electric guitar nicely. Some entertainment performances are still presented even though the night of fame has ended since half an hour ago. The important guests had also left his residence. Only relatives and close friends remain. “Never get enough.”
Armand fizzed indistinctly. “Are we watching the senseless romance movie season three? Live together in bondage in the name of God with someone from a different social class and .. boom! Nothing happened. Just happy ever after. Dream of broad daylight that a thousand one.”
“What problem do you have, Mand?” He laughed without a sound. “Out of the line each time discussing love relationship cave, Rajas, Riyadh. Gua wants to say, get your butt out. But the cave is willing to make your ego, which part does not make sense?”
“Each part without except.” Armand agilely replied. “Gua is tired of talking about Rajas and Riyadh, the stupid duo who went to block because of love.” The man in the white shirt shook his head satirically. “Gua is more interested in discussing your case. In the month to so many marriages, sure not to find obstacles? Any regrets? How do you two unite the two worlds? Don't talk about love, it's obviously a bulk fooling bullshit for men like us.”
He was open even though there were no funny words in the words of the friend. “Wait, wait! Men like us what does that mean?” He's still laughing. “A bunch of ba ji ngan hiding behind suits, uniforms, and respectable views, so?”
“Ba ji ngan clear you guys, cave exception.” Armand throttled kalem. “Honored men's cave of unshakable personalities.” Then knocking his own forehead. “Logika still road.”
He came back laughing. “Come on, Mand. Allow the cave to open your burem mind. Lu was curious about the constraints of cave marriage over the past few months with a person who .. say ... is not equivalent.” He suddenly shook his head to mean his own speech. “Oh, ***, original ba ji ngan cave for describing my loved ones in low language.”
Armand just grinned. “Fase fallen detect. It's like a wall discussion. Officially enter club man go block for love.”
He shook. “If now you say cave go block, previously what dong .. cave failure same Kinan? Go block acute?”
“As tag pi ru loh, Pa pa?”
He gasped at the soft hiss behind his back.
“Papa's words are very very inappropriate. I said ma__”
“Eisss, there's a hotshot Umay apparently!” He chuckled and tried to grab the boy's shoulder to get closer. “Tonight I met Armand yet?”
Armand laughed amusedly at her reaction and Umay alternately. Then also pat his third son's shoulder, then invite fist fight.
“Umay?” ask Armand.
“Iya, Om.”
“What special mission is there approaching papa Tama here?”
He sneered at Armand, while the man smiled mockingly.
“Papa called mama, he said it was night when finished the show? Later disturb the neighbors if our house is noisy continues,” said Umay with a doubtful face but smooth articulation.
He saw the watch on his right wrist. Then glanced towards the living room where the loved ones were smiling in response to the jokes of the female guests.
“In a moment,” he said back patted the shoulder wrapped in a colored shirt in line with the one he wore. “Papa finish the same thing about Armand first.”
Umay looked back at him doubtfully. “Revelation about go blo__” The boy immediately closed his mouth with both palms, not so continue the sentence.
Armand's laughter is breaking. While he smiled wryly while putting his index finger in front of his lips. “Sstt. It's both of us's secrets. Can Papa count on an Umay?”
The pair of intelligent eyes in front emitted a glittering light like they wanted to protest. But slowly it began to fade. A moment later the owner of the eyes nodded weakly.
He thumbs up. “Now Umay's advanced missions are ngajak Sasa, mas Reka, and bang Icad sleep. Tomorrow you guys are in the morning school, right?”
Umay nodded again. Then ran to the living room. But in the middle of the road scuttered Devano who asked joking.
“Sweet child,” muttered Armand also noticed Umay who laughed loosely due to Devano's temptation. “Sweeter than your own flesh blood.”
“Shut the hell up!” He nodded in disagreement. “They are tame now, have met the handler.”
Armand sneered. “All in one, mawangin bokap plus children.”
“And the handler that you said is not the same as the cave,” he continued quickly.
“Common case.” Armand won't lose. “Cave children are more familiar with baby sitters and PAnya than caves and people around the cave. Nothing special.”
He just shakes. “And you're proud your son is closer to the baby sitter?”
“Proudly be able to understand the duplicates of the cave by providing the comfort as he wants.”
He's still shaking. “Lu must hit the stone. Feel the comfort, serenity, happiness of a creature outside the planet that you created yourself.”
“Confidentiality of actions. Peace comes from within, not from others. Happiness has an expiration period.” Armand. “Gua is not sure, can you still talk this way in the future? And the cave won't hit the stone. The logic of the cave is still prime, it will not seerror you three.”
He took a deep breath and smiled cynically. “If your theory of the three things is one hundred percent correct, then what did the previous cave household mean? We are obviously equal, but end up with destruction.”
“This cave-diving relationship.” He's getting excited. “Not intended for unskilled guy whose love is business-oriented, lasting profit determined, then each other close their eyes, live in their respective world.”
Armand crusted the cigarette into the ashtray. “More than not my foundation in establishing a relationship is clear and measurable. Not pseudo wishful thinking on the basis of impulsive attitude.”
“What is he equal?” He pointed his chin to the living room where the woman who had come with Armand was whispering in Pocut's ear.
“Of course.” Armand nodded. “She's an old friend, childhood friend.”
“Lucky for you, directed life surrounded by equal people,” murmured lazily.
“We’re just friends, that’s all.” Armand smiled triumphantly. “See, in this selective cave friendship, especially about choosing a life partner.”
“Can I say something?” He became impatient.
Armand graced with a hand gesture.
“Jan cok!” his grunts while waving his hands meant to call out to Devano.
Armand was still laughing when Devano came in for a break. “Ya, Sir?”
“Five more minutes of the event is in order,” he replied while giving instructions on what the young man should do. He had already become acquainted with the new sespri in the Metro Police Station, but this particular evening still wanted to give orders to Devano. Count farewell greetings before they are no longer superiors and subordinates.
Not long after Devano left, the phone in his pocket vibrated the length of the incoming call sign. Similarly, Armand who first received the phone with a frown.
Armand exhaled a long breath. “Deadly news.”
He wants to make it clear whether the person who contacted them informed them of the same or not. Armand receives a second phone call. Likewise himself, the phone in his hand shook again and the name of the caller on the screen made him shrivel.
“Ya?” He answered the phone while turning to Armand who was also watching him. They both talk through cell phones with facial water that gradually shrivels.
The double deadly news.

Pocktail
He waved at Grace sitting next to Tama's business friend Armand, before the luxury car driven by the man in the white shirt drove off the front street of the house.
He was just going to tell a pretty important chat with Grace when Tama suddenly grabbed his shoulder while peeking at his forehead. The spontaneous action was quite surprising because they were walking across the front yard between the tama men who were cleaning the remaining equipment of the event.
“Tonight sleep alone, yes.” Tama rubbed her arm. “Titip kids.”
“M-mas where to go?” tanyanya. Moreover, once inside the house, Tama immediately pulled it and headed for the room. Not paying attention to Bu Niar, Mamak, and Anja who were sitting waiting in the living room.
“What's up, Mas?” He again asked in the tone as carefully as possible, while helping Tama choose a dark polo shirt as a replacement for the light blue shirt that had just been removed.
I didn't answer. The man immediately changed clothes, grabbed his jacket from the closet, then opened the drawer where the firearms were stored.
“Mas?” He followed Tama with curiosity. His heart began to pound unruffled while catching the firm look of the husband while checking the cylinder filled with bullets.
Five minutes ago he was still joking with Grace and Armand when the pair said goodbye. Never imagined the situation to change drastically without a single sign read. Confusing conditions that re-open bad memories of a series of losses.
No. gabe.
His mind was increasingly filled with various bad guesses when one warm touch again adorned his forehead. This time deeper and longer accompanied by a groan.
“Doain Papa, yes.”
He looked at the man who was rubbing his cheek. “Mas where to go?”
Tama smiled as she touched herself. “Task call. Titip kids. Mama's still here till tomorrow. Grandma if you can stay here as long as I go.”
Four sets of sentences that he had not even responded to became Tama's last words before leaving the room, approaching the children's room one by one, saying goodbye to the mothers, then left the house somewhere. He did not have time to ask the purpose of Tama's departure or indeed the man deliberately did not tell him.
“What is this the first time that a sudden assignment has been left behind?Midnight without knowing what task the husband got or where to go?”
He was surprised and almost spilled a cup of tea that he tried to clean in the living room. Yuni who was also tidying up the living room immediately swiftly took over the cup from her hand, while Bu Niar had been sitting beside her.
“Let's be with me, Mom,” whispered Yuni understanding. Rushing stacking cups and small plates onto the tray.
He murmured thanks. And again surprised when Niar's mom suddenly grabbed his hand.
“What is Pocut still not used to the sudden change of atmosphere?”
He gulped and stared at Niar's mother, even though he could not focus. His mind is more dominated by the rampage and jumble of disturbing questions.
“From a festive family event full of joy to a sudden departure without a message.” Ms. Niar gave a calming smile. “The late mas Setyo did too. Every task never tells what case, go where, how long. So Mama guess, Tama style is exactly like her papa.”
He again gulped with masygul. “Can I not ask mas Tama where to go?”
“Of course can.” Miss Niar nodded. “But we can't force them to come clean just to satisfy our curiosity. Mama is sure, Pocut has the best instinct about which things we should pursue and know the problem. And which one we sufficed at the point of good prejudice.”
“Then our task turns to pray for their safety during their duty,” continued Bu Niar softly. “Continue praying without feeling tired. That is the only shield we can give. We are from home.”
He looked down at the thought of Tama disappearing without ever contacting him. Though at that time he was in a state of disrepair because Mr. Raka continued to urge about proposal. “In indirect, I've experienced something shocking like this. At that time, we were not husband and wife. So I can not ... I still .. I mean ...”
Miss Niar clasped her hand. “When you want to apply?”
He nodded while again swallowing his saliva.
“Nnothing,” sayings bu Niar sounds quite reassuring. “New because this is the first. They will also get used to it for a long time. And if Mama can say, Tama's silence because it's protecting the family. Later even Pocut himself who can not sleep for days if he knows what case is being handled Tama.”
He did not know to smile or grieve at the words of his mother-in-law. But understand very well if no matter how small the behavior displayed by Tama even though only silent, it must have been through careful consideration and not the ego of a husband who does not consider the existence of the wife.
Tama is not that kind of husband.
“Pocut remember our chat in home library?” Bu Niar looked at her sternly. “Now it's time to practice all the things we've talked about.”
She has known various theories about how to accompany an officer, about what to do in support of the husband's duties. But no practice goes easy. As soon as Niar's mother returned to her residence, daily life flowed again, while Tama never gave the news, she became more vigilant every time she followed in Umay's footsteps watching criminal news. Wondering until the dizzy head roughly which case is being handled by Tama. Whether the bloody robbery or the escape of drug kingpin prisoners or the murder of public figures in the public spotlight or ....
Days of being left without news felt like the torment of a lifetime. His self-defense was almost torn to contact Tama first. Common sense can still be used together. His surprise about where Tama is, how the husband can change clothes even though from home does not bring any supplies, whether the man's food needs are fulfilled properly, is not enough, a little distracted by his busy managing social media Lombok Abang.
Agus and Yuni are the most helpful, especially if Reka is at school or swimming pool. The couple has received a special explanation from the designer about the operation of the camera, uploading videos to social media, writing video captions, and answering incoming messages.
When finally Tama appeared even through the television screen, he could only breathe a sigh of relief while giving infinite thanks because the state of the husband looks fine.
“There's papa on tv, Ma!” Report Umay enthusiastically. “Oh, it turns out papa did not come home because of catching a robber, Ma. THE SA! SASA!” Umay shouted loudly. “Sini! There's papa on tv! Says you miss papa!”
“Do a boss like Mas have to go to the field chasing criminals?” the whispers could not be prevented on the third day Tama was at home. “I think it's the duty of members Mas. I think a guy like Mas is enough to give orders from afar.”
The man in a moss-green cocoa shirt who had just finished praying Maghrib in the living room gave a smile as he reached for his hand. “Mama mostly watch movies, nih.”
“Mas?” It cringes. While the voices of Umay and Sasa began to buzz. Icad hasn't come home from enrichment ahead of the science olympics. Design is also still training towards Popprov.
“Papa choose to go home after the task is completely finished.” The man looked at her. “Papa does not want the atmosphere and emotions are not good carried away to the house. Difficult choice because we can not meet.”
He returned Tama's gaze while hesitating. “But if you give me news you can still, right?”
Shrugged his shoulders with a sorry face. “This is what should be trained a lot. My habits have never been told. Forgot if at home there is a beautiful who awaits.”
He pinched the thigh wrapped in a woven glove with anxiety. “So I can ask and send a message to hp Mas?”
“By once, my wife dear.”
“Why didn't you say from the beginning?” He again pinched Tama's thigh, this time more anxious. “I don't have to worry for days. My head is dry, get rid of the bad thoughts that come. Mas knew for myself I had a bad experience about leaving suddenly with no news. Me ...” He could not continue the sentence because it was glazed.
Tama hurried to grab him while whispering. “Mafin Papa ud__”
“IH! Mama equally papa even whispers continue to hug, anyway! Not read Qur’an!” pekik Sasa who was immediately blindfolded by Umay.
“Diem, Sa. We are najai. Pretend not to see,” orders Umay firmly with eyes bulging witty towards him too Tama.
