Rebuilding The Magic World's
Chapter 08: The Desert

Early in the morning we took a walk in the city while collecting some of the food we would bring along on the way.

It took three days to get through the desert especially we also had to have water and grass for horse feed.

Given the considerable amount we ended up buying a carriage that would be tied to the two horses we brought from the elven forest.

This way the preparation is done.

At night we left, the desert was not too hot if time passed like this.

While holding the horse's harness, Mia pulls the rot in her hand while Rolia is wary of something chasing us from behind.

"So far there has been no sign of them showing up" Mia said on alert.

The dangerous place after the Dungeon was a desert so we should not let our guard down, under the full moon light dotted with beautiful starfields we continued our journey.

By passing through this desert we have saved a lot of time.

Moments later a shake in the sand left our carriage uncontrollable, I pulled the rope to stop the train as soon as possible.

"He's come."

In order for our carriage to be safe, Rolia and Mia jumped out of the carriage and ran away, along with a wave of sand created behind me.

It was produced by a giant worm in this desert. With great speed the worm's head came out from the surface.

Mia stopped and sent her arrow to stick well in her head. I pulled my sword and Rolia did the same before we ran in the opposite direction.

The worm spewed out her entire body as we surrounded her from all directions, Mia threw her bow to replace it with a sword.

Our enemies in the future are clearly stronger than creatures like this, we will not escape. I stepped forward and shook my sword making a deep incision in his body.

When the worm's attention is diverted Rolia and Mia attack from behind, their swords make slashes that can stop the worm's movement.

The worm turned around then attacked the two until the sand gushed into the air. Both Rolia and Mia rolled to the side to avoid the next attack.

Both combine hands.

"Jason" cried Mia

I ran towards the two, using their hands as my footing. I jumped on the worm.

Utilizing the force of gravity I pierced the worm's body deeply and then slid down and the result was that the worm collapsed helplessly.

In this way we have defeated them.

"We must get out of here before another herd of worms comes," on Rolia's statement we returned to the carriage but just as it was about to arrive, another worm appeared and devoured the whole chariot without rest.

Except for our horse, he spouted the luggage from the carriage and ended up eyeing a dead worm.

"Let's hurry" I said.

The three of us took some food and drinks in our backpacks before continuing on foot.

Of course I brought it.

Just getting started, the three of us fell into the sand.

"Sand suction," cried Mia.

Rolia, Mia and I held hands when our whole bodies went into the sand, when I realized we had been in a spacious room without anyone.
