Chapter 36: Heroes From the Past

My past self really looked like a hero where I wore heavy dark armor with a big sword.

Although it was that size I easily swung it which made the ground split or sent magic from my hands, it looked like dark magic.

If I think I can come back from the dead and repeat my life, it's definitely not a good ability. Whatever, if it's for the sake of protecting others I don't want to think about it anymore.

Milfa and Leo got up and helped me beat Laura, so I could stab her with my sword.

"If you manage to kill me, I'll live on" Laura said

"At that time, there must be another hero who will defeat you" I said.

Before long the scene turned into a scene outside the palace.

Leo said to me.

"You sure you want to go back? Milfa said, you might have lost your memory there."

"What's wrong, I miss that life a little bit."

"If that's what you want, I'll also go to my village and marry the man I love."

"To be, congratulations."

The other me glanced at Milfa then said.

"I'm sorry I can't accept your feelings."

Milfa shook her head.

The other me disappeared.

As I watched that, my previous memories disappeared slowly into my head.

When I realized I woke up in bed and saw Milfa sitting next to me, I woke up and Milfa breathed a sigh of relief.

"How long am I sleeping?"

"For a moment, there's still time until the duel goes on."

"Thank God."

I looked towards Milfa.

Before she reacted I immediately stole her soft lips until she looked surprised while holding them.

"It has to be very unexpected."

"Don't tell me you got your memories again?"

I smiled as Milfa jumped at me, I could feel the warmth from her body.

When I first came here I was in my 30s, I was a miserable orphan who had no family considering I was young like this, which made me a little happy.

"I always said you'd be better looking at your age like this."

The vampire race started to surround us as spectators whereas, Nina and I faced each other.

Everyone was instantly shocked, not even they thought they could see a hero appearing with a face younger than they remembered.

"I still can't believe it, may I test your strength now," on Nina's statement, I nodded and she immediately lunged towards me.

He sent punches and kicks in turn, I only held him with one hand.

When she appeared from behind me I hit her stomach and Nina slid backwards at high speed.

His body was held by Luck but both were thrown away.

I had just restrained myself.

"You're really a hero" Nina shouted until everyone was sure.

"Then how are you all chosen?"

"Are you sure you'll make us part of your country?"

I drew my sword and stuck it on the ground while swearing.

"I promise to protect you all even if it is against the church and other countries, for the sake of your better life you will always be my part in the new country."

Everyone was crying in the day.

"I will always guarantee your safety, and give you a place you can call home."

Everyone smiled and put their hands on their chests as I did and exclaimed.

"Thank you for your noble kindness" they all said the same thing at the same time.

I don't know why this feeling is not foreign to me. True too, this is the spirit to live.
