Chapter 35: A Duel

"Don't tell me that you're the one who returned the magic back."

"You could say that, because that's why in order to achieve my wish I need your help."

"Although we are vampires."

"If you don't attack humans, I don't have a problem."

Me and Nina exchanged arguments in a few moments. Vampires don't have to drink human blood they can drink animal blood instead, after all they only drink blood for three months or so, hence there is no harm in bringing them to be my ally.

"While I allow it, my people will not agree to serve the weak, you must defeat me first in a duel to gain their trust, will you be able to?"

Me and Milfa exchanged glances, if it was Milfa I'm sure she could beat him but if it was me the chances were only small.

I also cannot retreat now, whether for my future kingdom or for all of them, if the church comes here I am not sure they can survive.

"Alright, I agree to a duel."

Nina smiled until the tip of her lips curved upwards.

"Let's have a duel in the afternoon until then, Nebula please take them to rest in one of the empty houses."

"As you wish, please follow me."

We followed him from behind.

I don't seem to fit this fruit.

My consciousness disappeared completely.

When I realized everything was going dark until the scene turned instantly into a scene on the battlefield.

I saw my more master standing there with a large sword, while behind him were two people lying on the ground.

They were both someone I knew Milfa and the other was Leo Mia's father, and the one we fought was Demon King Laura.

This is my memory of the past.
