Chapter 26: A Request

It never hurts to listen to what this boy has to say.

"I want you to marry my mother."

And the water gushed out of my mouth, I took this kid to a store on the edge of the harbor I didn't think he was saying such a strange thing.

I replied after calming myself down .

"Adventurists will not do such a thing, at most they will only use your mother."

"But only this will calm me down," the boy clenched tightly his hands on his knees.

"May I know your reason?"

"Actually I want someone to take my mother out of this city, after all this place is just filled with bitter memories for her."

"What about yourself?" he shook his head a few times

As my mind went everywhere, the boy said calmly.

"She's just our foster mom, actually we live in an orphanage."

That explains a lot of things.

"He always gets rough treatment from other foster mothers, I want him to leave this place and live with someone."

"Although you said so..."

Before I had brought Yue from her place, to think of bringing someone else it made me.

"Don't go" a voice rang out from a distance, at which moment I saw a priest-dressed woman running towards the two of us, she had pink shoulder-length hair.

"She's my mother, please take her," this little boy immediately ran away, leaving this woman with gasping breaths near me.

"Anu are you okay?" I asked towards him.

"Ah yes.I'm sorry, I have to go after her."

Before this woman ran I held her hand and she looked terrified.

"No, I should be the one apologizing."

"I'd like to talk to you for a second please tell me what happened to the boy?"

I ordered a glass of drink for this woman and then heard all the explanations, in front of me this is a foster mother named Vilaina as I saw she was a priest.

I said everything I heard from that little boy.

"What exactly happened?"

"It's all fake, the kid just made it up, we're all fine."

Her expression was a little forced, although I forced her she would not say anything so I took it for granted and just saw her departure move away.

This I should have told my group as well, in the inn Rolia, Mia, Milfa and Yue gathered in my room, they just took a bath so the fragrance smelled in all directions.

"Maybe it's time to play an adult game" I flicked my finger on Milfa's forehead and explained what happened to me as well as the boat we needed to go to the bermuda triangle.

For the boat we put aside first and focus on discussing about Vilaina.

"I don't mind, let's make him a part of our family" Mia said.

Yue says.

"If that's true, I want to be able to help that woman no matter what."

"Me too" added Rolia.

"I'd better check it out first, tonight I'm going out."

"We understand, whatever your decision Jason we will continue with you" replied Mia who got the nod of everyone.

I have a purpose to change this world, so I also have a responsibility to change someone's life for the better.

And in the evening I went out of the inn and ran in the darkness to an orphanage where the boy lived, all deserted until a light seemed to light up on the side of the house.

I peeked into it and found Vilaina working in the kitchen alone.
