Chapter 19: The Truth

It is indeed hard to believe what I am seeing now, the two previously severed hands have now fused back into Milfa's body, what is this so-called immortality? Not wanting to think about it, we all started descending from the tower and trying to avoid the guards who were trying to find our whereabouts.

We decided to go to the forest, where there was a long-abandoned cottage that was our temporary resting place.

Everyone seemed breathless from exhaustion, though it was dark I decided to go in search of water and food, and Milfa unexpectedly came with me. Milfa has blue hair that blends with the night view.

Tracing the path we found a stream that was quite fresh, I knew this stream came out of the spring that was in the cave even so I would cook it after arriving at the cottage.

I began to fill the wooden barrel I had been carrying since, Milfa seemed to be interested in something until her distant gaze stared straight at another place.

"What's wrong?"

"There's a deer, he's with his kids.. Do I have to hunt him?"

"No, it would be better if you could find some mushrooms that we can eat."

"Huh?"

"What?"

"It's nothing, I can see in the dark so let me look for it there."

"Don't take too long."

"Good."

Soon Milfa appeared with some mushrooms in her hand, larger in size than the mushrooms should have been.

"Is this enough for you?"

"I think that's enough, let's go back before everyone worries about us."

"What can it be done?" ask Mia.

"Of course, the previous demon lord had not died yet, he was only sealed in a certain place."

"Miss Milfa knows a lot" Rolia added.

"Let's call Milfa.I know it's because I'm the one who sealed the demon lord, especially the hero I said was Jason and the other partner was your father, Mia."
