Chapter 21: The Deal

In the hall was a woman sitting on an oversized chair, crossing her legs while holding a firearm in her hand, Laura.

"I thought you were coming too?" Laura smiled until her eyebrows were slightly raised, I was about to walk but Milfa stopped me immediately.

"What's wrong?"

"Look at that," at Milfa's words I saw a shadow behind Laura, the longer the shadow became visceral and then a robed figure with a bull's head appeared, the whole body had become a skull.

"It sucks, but the demon behind him is not an easy opponent to face.he is among the top 10 demons serving the demon king named Exlose.

"You seem to be Milfa, how does it feel to be betrayed by the humans you protect, instead of you hating them? Whatever you want we'll grant."

"I'm not interested in all the devil's offers anyway you're the one who kept me locked up in that tower "

"Absolutely right haha Laura you better kill them both before it turns into a troublesome thing."

"All right."

Laura stood up from her throne while thrusting a firearm towards the two of us, as she pulled the trigger we ran to avoid her.

"I'm gonna fight the devil, Jason, face the woman."

"I understand."

Milfa jumped towards Exlose and grabbed him by the face before dragging him away.

"What?"

Only Laura and I stayed here to fight each other, she fired a few bullets at me, while avoiding her I kept trying to reduce the distance between us.

"Hoh, you're used to fighting guns like this."

Dor.

A shot smashed the window behind me, coincidentally I swung my sword from the bottom up forcing him to retreat backwards.

"Jason are you sure you want to protect this world? You should have chosen to join the demon lord because he was the one who would win this battle."

"Why are you so sure?" I asked back.

"Because I already know everything, this world has been abandoned by the Goddess."

A big question mark appeared above my head.

"You may not realize it, but Goddess Adela has been locked up somewhere causing her blessing to stop instantly, even if we kill the witches, witches will always appear like stars in the sky. It seems you already understand what I mean."

"Why did you say that to me?"

"I just love having fun, even though you know you can't necessarily bring magic back to this world."

I clicked my tongue and then darted forward, before I knew what was going on, a bullet went through my thigh to sit on the floor, I turned my eyes to the side and I saw another Laura standing there.

"There are two Laura."

"That's just my ability... Laura approached me then kicked me down onto the floor, she casually lying on top of me.

"What are you?"

"Let me say one important thing that no one else knows about."

"I am the demon king."

My confusion grew.

"The demon king of women."

"The demon king is just some kind of title, it doesn't represent gender, but I'd be happy if you said I was the demon queen."

"In other words we've met."

"Well, you've killed me once but I can restore my own soul no matter how many times you kill me. In other words I'm immortal.hmm, it looks like you've lost your memory after returning to your world."

That's what Milfa told me.

"May I ask you one thing?"

"Please."

"Do you know anyone named Cherry?"

"That woman, she's just a guild member that I've set up. I don't really know her, just like the guilds we're usually only in charge of giving them criminal quests."

I could only go silent thinking about it and let Cherry's affairs pass me by.

Even if Laura kills me I can go back to before death, otherwise if I kill Laura she will live next, everything will just end up in vain without a solution, but I have a much better idea.

"Well, demon queen will you make a deal with me?"

"You dare too."

"Honestly, I don't die easily either. If you continue this will only be troublesome."

"I'm listening."

"If I succeed in preventing your entire plan and defeating you, you must become my slave."

"If I win?"

"I'll be your slave, how? Of us being able to control each other, not a bad deal."

Laura smiled then said in a confident tone.

"Looks good, let's do it. If you manage to defeat me I don't mind giving my chastity to you that I've kept for thousands of years."

I pushed Laura away to stand back up.

"You must be a descendant of the succubus."

"That Seperri, though I have no horns and no tail."

Laura took out a piece of paper that read the agreement we both agreed on, we both used blood as a binder.

"I look forward to your arrival at my castle" he said playing with his blonde hair.

Laura disappeared completely, at least I avoided something bad for now.
