Chapter 34: The Vampires

Milfa and I reached the village that the vampires had taken, when the male vampires soon surrounded us with weapons in their hands.

"You must be from the guild, what do you want to come here?" one of them threw the question at me, he was a man with a cold face and a blindfold in his left eye.

"I want to meet your dreamers" I said lightly.

"We can't let it go, you're human."

The man immediately unsheathed the sword towards me but just before hitting on me someone first held it from the side, she was a woman with red hair tied in the style of a ponytail.

"Nebula."

"Stop Luck, looks like this guy has no bad intentions."

"He's human, do you remember how they killed our brothers?"

"I remember even now that I wanted to kill them, but he was a little different," after hearing the woman's words, the man sheathed his sword and turned around as he said to the two of us.

Luck and Nebula sat on their knees while I was still standing staring at her.

"I'm sorry Miss Nina, she wants to meet you," the voice came from Nebula.

"Don't worry, it looks like he's got something for us, doesn't it."

He guessed it correctly, if this is how I will be faster to convey my wishes.

"I want to create a new kingdom and for that I want to make you my people."

Nina smiled faintly and continued.

"I want to create an empire that can protect everything whether it's witches or vampires I want to create a place where you can live quietly without being hostile to humans... before the witch was killed by the church, I didn't want that to happen to you either."

"What do you mean?" ask Nebula.

"The church is targeting you as a human threat, in a few days they'll come here."

"Impossible?" Luck said so and Milfa confirmed it.

"That's right, before they had lost the trust of the whole kingdom about witches, in order to improve their good name, they wanted to kill vampires for good."

Luck clicked his tongue irritated.

"They are true followers of the Goddess?" said so.

"Unfortunately some of the followers of the Goddess are real, they are demons in disguise," to my statement, except Milfa everyone held their breath in shock.
