Chapter 06: The Devil Ilfrit

I went back to the place where I, Rolia and Mia were going to buy snacks, even though I turned back the time of the pain I could still feel as if my mental was being eroded away

As the thought filled my head, Mia slapped me on the back, resuscitating me with a soft voice.

"What's Jason?"

"We have to go back now."

"Eh?"

Rolia also looked at me in wonder though I ignored and immediately returned to the elf forest. Everything was fine until an explosion was heard.

"What's that?" ask Mia.

And we saw the fire demon that I had seen in the initial time loop appear near the village, its entire body covered in flames.

"We have to stop it."

I darted forward from beside him, when he realized my arrival I gave him a locomotive kick behind his head until the demon fell to the ground.

I drew my sword as Rolia and Mia surrounded from all directions.

"My name is Ilfrit you guys are really annoying, man."

A fireball shot from her hand forced us to run away from her, just as Mia had taught me I would fight with all my might. Tightening my grasp I darted sending out a shiny blade.

Ilfrit retreated to avoid it while Rolia attacked from behind sending a small incision on his body.

Of course the incision was back to close quickly, instead Rolia's body was flown away.

I swung the sword forward. Mia also didn't want to shut up and follow me on my attack.

I held back, Mia slashed down to produce an explosion into the air, at the same time the other elves started shooting arrows from the direction of the village.

"Continue firing," Leo's shout echoed into the air. In this repetition he is still alive, thank goodness I am still not too late.

*SRANG*

I managed to cut off his hand.

"You really bother me, disappear with this village."

Ilfrit made a giant ball which he threw at me, Mia immediately moved in front of me, swung her sword and the ball was cut in half.

"Impossible, you can cut fire."

"That's not hard... Rolia," over Mia Rolia's statement ran in silence then thrust her sword through Ilfrit's heart from behind.

The devil then vanished into dust.

I did want to know what the devil's true purpose was just now, even so I guess he won't open his mouth even if we torture him.

I again sheathed the sword at the waist while the elves anointed us from all directions.

"The three of you saved us, thank you."

"Dad proud of you."

"It's nothing."

Mostly just a thank you, I said to Leo.

"We want to ask you something, can we talk?"

"Whatever you want, let's follow me."

The three of us followed him from the back towards the previous room. Some tea was served in front of us.

"So what do you want to ask?"

"I just want to know why the creature just attacked the village."

"It's obvious because of humans isn't it?" cut off Mia while Leo raises his hand making instructions to stop Mia.

"Maybe invisible, but actually in the past I was the partner of a hero who managed to save this world.I guess the person who asked the devil just wanted to eliminate me before troublesome them, after this something will definitely happen."
