"The Empress..." Ruyin hung up her words, while Tzuran who stood behind her was just silent with her head bowed.
The girl took a long breath. "What's wrong?"
"The queen mother ordered the empress to meet her now in the main hall." Wei's forehead wrinkled after hearing Ruyin's remark. Without asking any more, he immediately went towards the main hall.

His steps came to a halt when he found the hall more crowded than before. Wei's gaze shifted to Nui who was looking at him with anger not far from him standing up at this moment. He also found Xiahe crying nonstop with Lianxi who was endlessly patting her on the back. Not only that, Quolin and Baoyi were seen kneeling before Nui.
"What did the Queen Mother call me?" wei said after arriving before Nui and saluted.
Nui turned her eyes. "What have you done to my grandson? Why do you dare to punish her with a whip?!" her screams boomed which made Wei jump in shock.
"Please forgive me, Queen Mother. I gave him a sentence not without reason, but because princess Xiahe was guilty."
"The queen is lying, queen mother! I just took the documents from the concubine's residence and intend to give them to the empress. But the empress accused me of not obeying her orders." Xiahe defended herself in her sobs.
