Chapter 27: Xiahe's Lies

Quolin, Baoyi, and Annchi bowed their heads facing Xiahe who stood arrogantly in front of the three concubines. He stared one by one at the concubine's face before him with both hands folded across his chest.

Annchi's body was already trembling in fear because she thought that Xiahe would torture her or inflict more severe punishment.

"Second concubine and third concubine, have you finished writing the document?" xiahe said which made Quolin shake his head.

"Sorry princess Xiahe, I haven't finished writing that document yet."

Decakkan pissed out just like that from Xiahe's mouth. "It's too late for your work! Quickly finish the document, I will give it to the emperor." his order made Quolin and Baoyi frown together.

"Didn't the empress say she would give it to the emperor herself?" baoyi asked with her head held high and looked at Xiahe.

The girl's face turned sour. He advanced towards Baoyi with his sharp gaze. "I will give it to the emperor, are your ears deaf, third concubine?!" he snaps it hard.

No one opens their voice anymore. Quolin immediately wrote the document, Annchi worked on the report, while Baoyi was still standing with her head bowed.

Xiahe sat in front of the three concubines. His face was thin, nose pointed, lips a little thick bright red, and both eyes glared sharply making him cruel. Everyone in the palace knew that Xiahe was the most cruel daughter to anyone. He has no manners towards older people, does not know how to appreciate others, even worse he very often tortures servants so that not infrequently heard the news of the death of the servant from his residence.

No royal member dared to advise or punish her because the girl would behave unnaturally. Once Nui punished Xiahe by banning her from her residence, but the girl injured her own neck for not receiving the punishment given by Nui.

"I'm done, princess." said Quolin as he finished writing the documents. He then gave the document to Xiahe.

It was clearly a sly smile on his lips. After receiving all the documents from Quolin and Baoyi, Xiahe immediately left the concubine's residence. He was indeed planning to give the document to Fengying without Wei's knowledge.

When Xiahe arrived at the main hall, Wei and her maids and servants were seen coming out of the way to the residence of the emperor and empress. Their views met which made Xiahe immediately hide the document into her sleeves.

With a big smile, Xiahe walked over to Wei. "What made the empress come out of the empress' house?" he asked when he got in front of Wei.

"Ah, I want to pick up the documents at the concubine's residence. What about you, princess?" Wei looked at Xiahe full of probing.

"For what did the empress come to the lowly concubine's residence? I just got there and found those who are still writing documents. They're very slow, empress. I'm sure they were on purpose because the empress said she would give documents to the emperor." Xiahe said beginning to pit the queen and the concubine.

Wei simply smiled as he shifted his gaze. This girl in front of him had already been caught but still insisted on complaining. Wei though a lowly girl but she's not stupid. He was very sensitive to the speech of those around him, what else was accompanied by facial expressions.

"Is everyone in your eyes so low, princess?" Wei looked at Xiahe with a gentle gaze, but was able to make the smile on Xiahe's lips fade away.

"Of course not, queen. I just assume the person below me is a lowly person."

"If so, for my daughter is a lowly person, right? That's why the princess dares to toy with me, the lowly empress of this country."

Xiahe shook her head many times. "I never considered the empress a lowly person! Why is the empress slandering me like this?"

A sigh rang out from Wei's mouth. With a quick movement, Wei pulled Xiahe's right arm and retrieved the documents that were there. This made Xiahe round her eyes.

"That's ...."

"How dare you play me! I already said that I would give this document to the emperor, right? Explain why this document is up your sleeve?!" tukas Wei sharp which made Xiahe surprised.

"Blame the second concubine and the third concubine! They set me up on purpose, empress!" he accuses people who are clearly innocent.

"What do you see? Quickly bring second concubine and third concubine here!" xiahe's orders to the waiter behind him.

"Good, princess!"

Wei just silently looked at Xiahe's behavior. He wanted to see how far Xiahe would go when her lie was exposed.

Quolin and Baoyi soon arrived. They immediately saluted Wei by bowing their heads. "We salute the empress."

Xiahe slapped Quolin and Baoyi's cheeks in turn. The two girls in the slap looked at each other for not understanding and not knowing their mistakes.

"So good you guys set me up! You lowly concubine!" xiahe shouted with great pressure which made Quolin and Baoyi immediately kneel on the floor.

"Please forgive us, princess. We didn't trap the princess at all!"

"Ah, you didn't admit to the mistake you've made?!"

Wei did not get out of thought with the actions that Xiahe had done. It was obvious he was guilty but threw his guilt at someone else. Suddenly his emotions rose when he saw Xiahe like a doormat slapping the cheeks of Quolin and Baoyi to leave a reddish mark.

"Stop!" wei shouted which made Xiahe stop.

"What are you doing?" said Wei while looking at Xiahe who was regulating her breathing.

Xiahe walked over to Wei still haughtily. He seemed to have done nothing wrong when he had made a huge commotion. "I give the punishment to these two lowly gadia, empress. They've framed me, punish them!"

Wei looked at Quolin and Baoyi who were kneeling on the cobblestone path. It must have hurt what else their cheeks were slapped so hard by Xiahe.

Silence because Wei had not yet opened her voice. He stared at the sky which was about to turn dark. It was time to clean up and fill an empty stomach for half a day, but Wei had to face the problem.

"You've been caught lying and you're throwing your mistakes at someone else. Is that how you become a role model for others? It turns out this is the attitude of the Taoming State princess!" wei with her sharp eyes rained down on Xiahe with thousands of swords.

"What does the queen mean? Why accuse me of that? Is that so the attitude of the empress after being inducted into the empress of Taoming Country?!" xiahe shouted following Wei's way of speaking.

Wei's two hands clenched, even the once-tidy documents now looked a little ripped. "Darang, whip princess Xiahe twenty times! It was a punishment because he had lied to the empress of this country!"

Xiahe's face turned red, she looked at Wei hatefully. "Emperor alone never punishes me like that! How can you be so brave as to punish me, lowly girl?!"
