Chapter 13: The Most Dangerous Tongue

The next day Wei was already standing in the front yard wearing a light purple dress. On his chest there is a plum flower embroidery, his hair is carried and pierced with white jade konde which has a plum flower carving. His face was thin with reddish pink lips. She was very beautiful and graceful like an emperor's daughter.

In front of him now stood a young lady and maid, and 24 servants behind them.

"We salute the future empress!" they exclaimed while bowing to pay respect to Wei.

"Hamba Ruyin, the new lady of the empress's residence. Beside the servant was Tzuran, the personal servant of the future empress. We were chosen directly by the queen mother to serve the future empress. Please accept us, empress-to-be!"

"Okay, do your job. But where are the Kilin maids and the old servants? At least I want to meet them stuff once," Wei said as she stared at the new servants who would serve her at the empress' residence.

Ruyin took a step forward making Wei now pay attention to her. "Dang Kilin left the palace last night, the future empress. She felt so guilty for not being able to take good care of the empress candidate."

"Ah, whereas I've said that it's not her fault." murmured Wei with a slumped shoulder in disappointment with her departing paddle.

Wei's attention turned to several baskets containing pear neatly arranged on the porch of the house. Her smile slowly expanded as she realized Fengying had kept her words yesterday.

Wei walked up to the pear and ate it. His eyes closed as he tasted the incredible sweetness of the pear. He really likes pears.

"Why are you guys just quiet? Take this pear and enjoy it." Wei ordered that all the servants bow their heads.

Wei already knew that they would refuse because there was no palace rule that allowed them to eat with members of the royal family. He then took out a basket of pears and distributed them to his new waiter and ladies.

"When you're at the empress' residence, you can eat what I eat" Wei said after she finished sharing the pears.

Just as she was about to step up, suddenly her maidservants prostrated on the ground. It made Wei exhale violently.

"Please forgive us, empress-to-be, we don't deserve to eat what the empress-to-be eats!"

Wei sat on the porch of the house feeling annoyed. "I want to treat you like I do. At least I'll be able to ask you about how the food I eat and you eat. When with me we are all equal, there is no term employer and servant. You can also read in the library or relax in the pavilion after finishing work."

Before all the servants returned to apologize, Wei first continued his words.

"In this great palace, I have absolutely no friends to talk to. Don't you want to be friends with me, too? Just at the empress' residence, aren't you willing to grant my wish?" said Wei who managed to make everyone who was prostrating before her instantly shake their heads.

"We deserve to die if we refuse to grant the wishes of the future empress!" ruyin was followed by 25 maids.

"Let the servant and Tzuran accompany the future empress. The rest will get the job done" Ruyin said and was immediately approved by Wei.

"alright. After your work is done, join us in the pavilion."

"Okay, empress-to-be!"

Wei, Ruyin, and Tzuran went to the pavilion. But before that they went to the library first to pick up the book that Wei was going to study. They are now in the first floor pavilion because there are many tables.

"Well, this pavilion is beautiful. The servant was very lucky to be chosen directly by the queen mother to be the empress' personal servant!" tzuran scolded as he looked around. He regained his senses as Ruyin nudged his arm.

Tzuran immediately lowered her head as Wei looked at her. "Pardon the presumptuousness of the servant, the future empress."

Wei smiled happily. "This place is beautiful, isn't it? Since the first time I set foot in the empress' residence, this pavilion has greatly satisfied my heart because of the beauty it presents. This pavilion will be the place I like the most in the empress' residence." said Gently Wei as she sat on the floor with a table before her. Tzuran also directly put the books in front of Wei.

"Hamba was also aware of the beauty of this pavilion, the future empress. I've seen the pavilions in all the residences and the pavilions of the empress' residence are the most beautiful." explained Tzuran who again made Ruyin nudge her arm.

Wei felt no problem with that. He was happy to finally have a friend to talk to. "Darling, talk to me too. I don't care if Tzuran talks, she's a very positive girl."

Ruyin caught the confusion on Wei's face.

The young girl seemed that if she was threatened a little would definitely be scared to death, her tongue could say like a sword that killed someone else." Ruyin explained to Wei.

Wei smiled wryly as she stared at the stack of books before her. Yes, he also realized that the tongue is very dangerous. When dealing with nobles, Wei is often blamed for making his life threatened.
