Chapter 14: The Day Before the Wedding

"Baoyi said she wasn't feeling well and Annchi said she was busy. Therefore we only came together to apologize to the future empress" Quolin said.

"Did you guys make a mistake?" wei's face was very calm, in contrast to Zhuan and Quolin.

Zhuan though was beautiful but she could not hide the hatred on her face. While Quolin who looks calm it still shows dislike on his face. Wei understood, no concubine could accept herself well. Right now Wei knew very well that Zhuan and Quolin had come for other purposes, not sincerely apologizing.

"When the empress-to-be fell into the pool and got hurt, we couldn't come to see the future empress. We feel so guilty for the empress-to-be, please forgive us." Zhuan lowered his head followed by Quolin.

"We didn't expect the problem to be so big. Dayang and the previous maid of the empress candidate really did not do a good job. They all deserve the death penalty!" quolin exclaimed as he looked at Wei firmly.
