Papa To Kirana

Papa To Kirana
Chapter 80 The Nurse

As soon as I entered the room, my eyes were immediately fixed on Alexa who was already sitting upright on the bed.

Beside him stood two older sisters who to my eyes were like a lady-in-waiting flanking a princess.

I went up to Alexa and grabbed her hand, then pressed it against my cheek. Alexa returned my gaze with a look I could not see.

"Balin, where's Kirana?"

I took a breath before speaking. Look at Alexa's face waiting for my answer.

"Kirana is home" I replied in a soft voice.

Alexa's lips curl up a smile. However, everyone who was in the room bowed miserably.

"We'll bury Kirana tomorrow."

One second Alexa's smile faded instantly. Replaced with disbelief and he shook his head. He glanced at everyone asking for an explanation. But all is silent. No one dared to speak.

"You're kidding, Kirana can't die" Alexa protested.

I hugged Alexa's body to calm down first. But the hug wasn't long, because Alexa pushed and beat my chest.

As much as possible I caught Alexa's hand to stop, looked at her deeply, and stroked her curls. Tears were coming from the end of his eyes.

"You're bad, Balin. Why would you rather save me than Kirana? You should have just let me die strangled by Harsa. We've lost Boy, and now we've lost Kirana too."

Alexa kept cursing at me with a cry that never subsided. Then I kissed Alexa's lips so she could be quiet for a moment. No matter the existence of Alexa's brothers in the room.

Kissing alone can't calm Alexa. Now he stood up to get closer to his elder brother.

Alexa did the same thing she did to me. Beat Brother Alan's chest while screaming.

Alan's brother was silent or did not move away from the blow that was thrown by Alexa.

"It's also Alan's fault. Why did Alan pull me to the surface of the water. Though a little more I can take Kirana upstairs."

"Alexa, you're already in a weakened state. If Big Brother is a little late, your situation can be much more fatal. After all, Mirza immediately replaced you to bring Kirana."

"Yes, but Kirana's no help, sister."

Alexa cried, then Brother Alan pulled Alexa's head to bring her into the deck.

I saw one drop of grain flowing in the eye patch of Kak Alan who was rubbing Alexa's head. Just as all of Alexa's older brothers were calming her younger sister, Alan's black bead gaze met mine, then she gave a small nod.

"I want to go home now. I want to see Kirana," asked Alexa after she let go of her brother's embrace.

"You haven't been allowed to go home yet" argued Brother Alan with a flat expression.

Alexa threw a glance at me asking for a defense. But unfortunately this time I'm more on Alan's side.

"We'll see Kirana tomorrow, Alexa."

Her night. In a quiet corner of the hospital as some patients fell asleep and left medical personnel on guard at night, there was a sound of footsteps from the dark hallway.

Steady footsteps of a man wearing a nurse uniform. The nurse's eyes were fixed on the patient's door at the other end.

His breathing hunted as soon as he reached the door, without needing to ask permission to enter, the man walked into a simple room.

Light rays from outside infiltrated into the room through the door that crackled open. A moment was able to illuminate the dark room, and the figure lying on the bed woke up from the blinding light in his eyes.

The male nurse closed the door, approaching the patient who was lying down but to two perfectly rounded eyes.

"Hello, how can I help you?" ask the patient who laughed for no reason.

"You look so happy, Mr Harsa?" the nurse asked back.

Harsa sighed to end her laughter.

"I'm happy because I finally got rid of that boy. Although I didn't get what I dreamed but at least the boy is gone."

Silent for a long time. The two men made no sound.

"Coward," said the male nurse.

Harsa did not accept the call made by the nurse of the man she did not know. He threw a cold gaze and sat upright on his bed.

"You lowly nurse, what did I call you?" ask Harsa scornfully.

The nurse was not emotionally disturbed. He continued to ask.

"What is the purpose of your life now, Mr Harsa? Didn't revenge pay off?" asked the male nurse who had been standing by the mysterious box.

The look on Harsa's face showed doubt, staring at the blanket with a blank look.

"You're right" murmured Harsa.

"That boy is dead, Alexa and Balin must have been devastated by the deaths of his two children."

The male nurse nodded confirming, then said, "Your own fate is just as miserable. Living in prison until death picks me up."

Harsa's eyes were still empty but she soon spoke to herself.

"I'm not a coward and I don't want to die in a filthy prison cell."

The man's nurse nodded once, his hands clad in latex gloves slowly opening the box he was carrying.

A small knife used by doctors to perform the operation was taken by the nurse from the box and immediately slipped it into Harsa's blanket.

"Then do it tonight!" san nurse's edict.

"You're gonna do it?"

The nurse shook her head.

"I don't want to dirty my hands. Good night, Mr."

The male nurse turned around and began to step out of the room. But it stopped when Harsa called him.

"Who are you?"

Without looking back the nurse spoke straight ahead. He thinks his interlocutor is the door.

"I'm just an ordinary nurse who was furious to hear that a father could hurt his own daughter."

Then, the male nurse continued walking, closing the door to Harsa's room without leaving a sound. A grin rose on the nurse's lips, which stepped into the dark hallway and disappeared there.

Morning in the VIP room where Alexa is being treated,

I helped put on Alexa's clothes. He was allowed to go home today.

But on his face there was no happiness. Since yesterday he has been sitting lethargic and daydreaming a lot.

I've given Alexa vitamin C, or some other language vitamin kiss, so she's a little excited. But still not good. She kissed me back but then she came back moody.

After the shirt, I helped comb his curly hair. Just then someone knocked on the door and I let them in.

It turned out that it was Brother Alan who entered with his tense face and glaring eyes.

"B-Brand... H-Harsa," said Kak alan stammering.

Me and Alexa frowned, glancing at each other in confusion.

"Harsa, why Sis?" I asked Alan's sister who was scrambling her hair looked shocked.

With a gasping breath, Brother Alan replied, "Harsa committed suicide in his room."
