Papa To Kirana

Papa To Kirana
Chapter 43 Moving

I drove the car at full speed. Splitting crowds on crowded streets. Overtaking the vehicle and pressing the horn impatiently.

My hands clasped tightly onto the steering wheel of the car, until my knuckles turned white. Once again I punched the wheel, screaming releasing the emotions raging within me.

Then, my car squeaked as it stopped in front of my rented house. I ran towards the house, and broke down the door.

Rama who was accompanying Kirana playing train jumped in shock. He looked over while stroking his chest.

“Kak Balin, what's up? Shocked to know!”

“Please pack your things, Rama! We're moving now!” I said with a voice trembling with anger.

“What? Moving out? Move where? And why should I move? We will have paid this contract for the next year,” said Rama who was confused about my attitude.

Rama followed me into the room. While I who was shaking violently took out the suitcase from inside the closet, took out a few strands of my clothes and also Kirana.

“Not much to ask. Quickly pack now!” my firmness.

“I don't want to. Pack this much of our stuff in one day? I don't want to!”

“Serah!” I said to go back and pack things in the suitcase.

“Kak, what's the matter exactly? Why did you suddenly move? Or Brother hurt because Kak Alexa refused love Sister?”

I turned my head quickly at my sister, looking at her with sharp eyes when she mentioned Alexa's name.

“She's a spy Harsa. He's been monitoring our movements and reporting them to Harsa. Even he did a DNA test on Kirana without my knowledge,” my cries became more and more.

I thought Rama would also be stirred by emotions, but in fact he remained silent and calm. Even his hand held my arm.

“There is no way Sister Alexa would do that,” denies Rama.

“You don't believe it? I saw it for myself, Ram. I saw for myself he was talking to the bastard Harsa. Alexa knew all along that Kirana wasn't my son. He trusted more Harsa who had slandered me having an affair with Karina.”

“But, Brother... “

I ignored Rama's words, I continued to put toys and other Kirana needs.

In the midst of my riots, Kirana was already standing in front of my bedroom door. His round eyes were staring at me confused.

“Papa,” says Kirana.

I immediately approached Kirana, crouched down to align my gaze with her, then hugged Kirana's small body. Shower him with a warm kiss.

“Kirana want to go with Papa? We're getting out of here, okay?”

“So you want to take Kirana where?”

I did not reply, I lifted Kirana's body and grabbed the suitcase. Walk out of the house while ignoring Rama who keeps calling me.

When I opened the car door for Kirana, I immediately gasped at seeing the bouquet of roses I was supposed to give Alexa was still in the car.

I immediately threw the bouquet onto the ground, trampling it to shreds.

Exactly, the woman who was supposed to receive the rose got off the taxi. He immediately ran up to me. Ramah who came into the house.

“Balin, where are you going?” ask Alexa worried.

“Kak, let's talk about this with a cool head. I'm sure Kak Alexa just misunderstood with Brother,” said Rama said to weld while holding my arm.

I snorted in annoyance, “You defend him more than your own brother? Though this woman has used you, Rama.”

“Balin, once again I'm sorry, and please give me one more chance to fix everything,” Alexa grabbed my hand and held it, begging for an apology from me.

I pulled my hand out of Alexa's grip.

“It's too late. I'm already disappointed in you, Alexa.”

“Kak Alexa tricked by Harsa, Sister. He's not entirely wrong, is he?”

I opened my mouth to speak but stopped because Kirana started whining. It seems he also felt the uneasiness of seeing me, Rama, and Alexa fighting.

“Balin, Kirana crying,” said Alexa forward one step to receive a helping hand Kirana.

But I first pushed Alexa's body until she fell on the ground.

“I warned you not to touch my Kirana again.”

I immediately walked around the car, and got into the driver's seat. Drive the car out of the yard.

From the rearview mirror, I saw Rama helping Alexa stand.

I walked into the hotel room holding Kirana and one more hand dragging the suitcase. My eyes swept around the room.

One bed facing directly to the large glass-lined window, a long sofa and television in one corner of the room and there is a bathroom that is classified as narrow but clean.

Minimalist. That's the one word that describes this hotel room I ordered.

I laid Kirana on the bed. He was still as excited after crying. Then, as I opened the jacket, I realized that a small object had fallen off.

It was a box with a ring I was going to use to propose to Alexa.

I picked up the red box, opened it and observed the beautiful ring embedded in it.

“If you weren't the one who became Harsa's accomplice, this ring would have been on your ring finger, Alexa,”

I closed the red box, furiously throwing it against the wall and bouncing off somewhere.

As soon as I could catch my breath, I went back to Kirana who was lying there crying. I wiped her wet cheeks, gently stroked Kirana's hair, and kissed her forehead.

Kirana's arm was cold, so I took the initiative to pick up a warm shirt in the suitcase. However, after unpacking all the contents of the suitcase, I only brought one of Kirana's warm clothes. Sweater gift from Alexa.

Why is this sweater the only one that gets carried away?

What can I do. I put Kirana on that sweater.

“For a while, we vacation first both. There's only Papa and Kirana,” I said stroking my little baby's black hair.

I put my phone on the bed, while I ordered lunch for me and Kirana. Not to forget also warm water so that I can make milk for Kirana.

Then I went back to bed. There Kirana was sitting with her hands pointing at the photo that was plastered on the phone screen.

I just remembered that the lock screen photo on my phone used a photo of Kirana and Alexa while on vacation to the beach.

Kirana pointed at the photo and said, “Mama.”

Then the look in Kirana's eyes turned to me, looking at me with an expression asking for affection.

“Mama,” said again.

I let out a sigh, kept the phone away from Kirana and placed it on the table.

Poor Kirana too. The closest woman to Kirana is Alexa. She considers Alexa to be her mother.

“Mama,” whining Kirana getting louder. He even tugged at my shirt. Like I was begging to see that picture again.

“No, Kirana. She's not your mama.”

I hugged Kirana's little body. The toddler dropped his head on my shoulder.

“For Kirana there is only Mama Karina, nothing else.”
