A few weeks after I got sick, Kirana and I were planning to come to the restaurant to see a new menu sale. Frans said the new menu was very liked by buyers.
There were even shoppers who uploaded the food video to social media and went viral.
I arrived at the restaurant just at the office lunch hour. Of course the Memories Restaurant is crowded.
As usual, I observed the condition of the restaurant being crowded by the buyers. However, when I stepped foot inside the restaurant, Kirana cried.
Kirana hid her face in my chest.
Wh why? Is he scared?
I stayed in the parking lot for a few minutes, waiting for Kirana to calm down. But Kirana cried again as soon as I walked into the restaurant.
Kirana must be afraid because there are so many people in the restaurant. He's afraid of the crowd.
“Balin,” call Frans who walked up to me.
“There's something we need to talk about inside.”
“Short, Frans. My son doesn't seem to want to go into the restaurant.”
“Aduh. The problem is that our conversation is important. Related giveaway that has been planned before.”
After a while my eyes caught the figure of Rama who had just come out of the bookstore.
Rama approached with a lethargic face. When I told her to look after Kirana, Cindy came.
“Balin, Kirana why?” ask Cindy.
“He does not want to be brought in.”
“Then let me take care of Kirana here.”
“No need. There's Rama who will take care of Kirana.”
Strange, as soon as she came, Cindy immediately volunteered to take care of Kirana outside the restaurant. He usually goes to restaurants to eat.
But Frans immediately pulled my arm before I could ask him why he wanted to take care of Kirana.
We were on the second floor of the restaurant. The place is deliberately designed more relaxed with a long sofa chair and a comfortable interior.
Time seems to pass so quickly.
Suddenly, I heard a noise from below. So curious, I tried to look up from the top window.
Just a quick look, I know what's going on down there.
Cindy screamed for help, next to the empty baby carriage.
I widened my eyes, and my adrenaline instantly increased. I clenched my hands, punched the empty air, then ran past Frans who stood in confusion.
“Balin, what's up?” frans asked as I went down the stairs. He also ran behind me.
I didn't answer.
Under the stairs, Rama who was about to go up stopped immediately to see me who went down the stairs.
“Sister, Kirana kidnapped!”
“I know,” I said as I continued running.
I grabbed Cindy's shirt, and twisted her body violently. Fortunately she is a girl. If not, then I would have jumped.
“M-they took Kirana there,” Cindy pointed towards the south with a pale face and a voice trembling in panic.
But I don't know if he's acting or not. Obviously I was looking up from the top floor Cindy carelessly ignored Kirana. He even called someone.
“They have two people and use a motorcycle,” said Cindy who still can not calm down.
I don't have much time.
I decided to borrow a motorcycle from one of my employees to go after the kidnapper.
“Kak, wait for me!” rama shouted as I plugged the gas.
On the crowded road, I almost lost track of the motorist who kidnapped Kirana. I saw them from above. Ride a butut motorcycle, helmet black and wear a black mouth cover as well.
Well that's him.
The motorist who kidnapped Kirana took a turn while she was in the T-junction. Instantly I increased the speed of the motorcycle, overtaking several cars in front and breaking through the red light.
The noise of the exhaust clashed with the roar of the wind that deafened my ears.
Then the motorbike I was looking for turned again into a small, densely populated street.
I stopped my bike. It's dangerous if I speed on a street where a lot of little kids play on the street like this.
Before long, Rama on his borrowed motorcycle caught up with me.
“Where did the kidnapper go, Kak?” ask Rama.
I kept staring straight at the motorcycle trying to escape me. Suddenly, I remember, this road only had two branches.
“Rama, turn around!” my orders.
“What?”
“Turnback! We're blocking them. You head for Aster Road, block them there! While I'm going to block them from Amanda.” Street
“Good idea, Brother.”
“Come quickly!”
We turned around and separated. I pulled the gas handlebars of the motor up to the maximum limit. I won't let them take Kirana.
I even felt like I was floating while riding the bike so tight.
Well, it turns out my estimate was correct. The kidnapper chose Amanda Road. They stopped the motorcycle when they saw me.
I grinned triumphantly.
The person sitting in the back seat, as well as the one holding Kirana, got off the bike. Then ordered his friend.
“Lo kick him. While I run away. Most importantly now, this brat should arrive at the boss.”
The man who got the order nodded and walked up to me. I couldn't see his face because it was covered with a black helmet. He gritted his fingers, and I was ready with the position of the horses.
“Lo will definitely K.O in my hands.”
“I'm not afraid at all, fat man.”
Fat guy. That's how I named him. Because he was indeed fat compared to the man who brought Kirana.
I managed to get away from the blow he gave me. Down from his second blow.
Then I grabbed his arm. Twisted until the fat man screamed in pain and elbowed loudly right on his back.
“Hey, where are you going?” rama asked trying to block the man who was carrying Kirana.
I only turned to Rama once when I was dealing the blow of the fat man.
“Do not mess! You know what this thing is?”
Rama pulled out a gun. I don't know where he got the gun either.
“Well, now. Hand over the baby or do you want to go home with your head down? Come on, choose which one?”
Rama threatened the man screeching but with a tone of speech like a man joking. Basic Rama.
Of course, the scrappy man will not be affected by the threat of Rama.
“Indeed I fear the same threat lo, huh?”
“Hey, don't believe it! this is a real gun. Here, if you don't believe.”
Rama pointed the gun upwards and fired one bullet.
The man was frightened, as was Kirana who was being carried by him. Then Rama pointed the gun again at the cheeked man.
When the cheeky man started to get scared, Rama nimbly took the opportunity to seize Kirana. He turned around and ran away.
While I had managed to drop the fat man onto the hot asphalt road by the scorching sun and landed a punch right on his cheek.
Then, I saw a screeching man about to attack Rama, but I immediately ran towards him.
Looping one of my arms around the neck of the man squeaked from behind and pressing him with all my might. The man stuck his tongue out because he was breathing hard.
“Say! who's your boss?”
