Papa To Kirana

Papa To Kirana
Chapter 58 Getting Married Soon

I parked the car in my parents' yard. Slamming the door, and at the same time Kirana ran from inside the house.

Your smile grew to see Kirana approaching me, and I immediately cupped her in a crib. Kirana did the same. His little arm was stuck to my shoulder.

Kirana chuckled as I kissed her bakpa cheek.

“I love Papa.”

“Papa also love Kirana.”

From behind Kirana's shoulders, I saw Alexa walking across the yard. The curly-haired girl smiled all the way up her legs. Join me and Kirana.

“We are in yuk. The others are waiting,” Alexa said as she wrapped her hands around my arms.

In the house there were both my parents, Rama, and not to forget Frans and Cindy. They cheered as soon as one step of my foot entered the house. One by one I congratulated.

Then we all gathered at the dinner table. My father led Kirana's grateful prayer and I was able to return to good health.

After that, Rama who was like a doormat scooped rice on his plate. Unmitigated he also snatched all the side dishes that were on the table.

Rama dropped his buttocks on the chair devouring his food. Precede to the others.

“Frans, Cindy, forgive my sister's behavior huh?” I said awkwardly.

“Yes, it's okay kok.”

“Rama, how's your Shinta doing?” ask Cindy who is sitting next to Frans.

Suddenly Rama stopped the movement of his mouth, turned quickly to Cindy, and suddenly grimaced. He cried with his lips open making some food chips fall onto the table.

We all exchanged astonished lyrics, but not with me.

I shrugged at Rama's ridiculous behavior. I can guess what made her cry.

“You must have been rejected again by Shinta for the sixth time, right?” I said guess.

“Kakakak miscalculated!” refute Rama. “Yesterday was the seventh time I was rejected Shinta.”

Rama's cry grew in the dining room. The mother who saw the behavior of her youngest child, could only shake her head, then stuffed the fried tempeh into the mouth of Rama who was gaping from crying.

Rama was silent, and we all laughed.

“Hmm, good also tempe fried made by Mother,” said Rama with bulging cheeks full of food.

“Maybe it's time you stop chasing Shinta, Ram,” Alexa advises as her hand scoops the rice onto my plate.

“No! I'm sure Shinta is my soul mate. From the name alone we are suitable to be a life partner,” Rama spoke in a soft voice.

“What Alexa says is true,” Mother chimed. “Don't think of love just! Think about your career after college!”

Rama sighed and bowed. Looking from his face he was very desperate. Will his love just fall apart?

Then my gaze moved to Frans who was caught by me shifting her seat a little closer to Cindy's seat.

From the hospital, they seem to be getting closer. Even now Frans dropped his hand on Cindy's hand on the table. Grasping tightly. Then they both smiled.

Have they been dating?

“Balin, where were you?” ask Alexa who's next to me.

I stared at Alexa. He doesn't know that Kirana and I have inherited from Indra Irawan, Kirana's grandfather.

“Later I will tell you.”

“That's you,” Kirana who sits between me and Alexa, pointing to the soy sauce chicken served on the table.

I took Kirana's favorite lower thigh, which was immediately accepted by the cute toddler, then devoured the chicken meat until her cheeks were dirty by soy sauce.

Alexa chuckles at seeing Kirana eat, she takes a tissue and wipes Kirana's cheek.

Meanwhile, Mom poured tea into the cup while talking to my dad. Everyone's activities at the dining table, making Rama even more discouraged.

He is the only one who has no partner to talk to. He stared sadly at the piece of chicken meat he was grasping. Breathing out heavily.

“Pity me this once. Already single, no one asked me to talk,” Rama pulled hard his snot.

“Okay, delicious chicken meat, can I have you?”

Rama answered his own question, “Of course I can. I was created to prop up your stomach.”

“It looks like we should take our youngest child to a mental hospital, Sir,” muttered Mother who noticed Rama.

My dad sips his tea, “No need, Mom. It's too late, we should have brought him.” a long time ago

Mom sighs, “I crave what the hell while pregnant Rama first?”

After finishing eating, everyone chatted in the living room. My dad, Frans and Cindy talk a lot about business. While I accompanied Kirana to play dollhouse toys.

Rama lamented his love story while watching the soap opera on TV, which happened to be the main character actor fared the same as him. As a result, my brother's mood was getting worse.

And I realized Alexa wasn't with us. I turned my head to look for the girl.

“Papa bored,” Kirana said in a careless tone.

Cheerful smile expands on Kirana's tiny lips, she jumps for joy, “Come, Papa.”

As Kirana and I passed through the dining room to go to the backyard, I saw Alexa who was cleaning the dining table.

“Reacted you are here.”

For a moment I stopped stepping, while Kirana kept running outside the house. I turned my foot to get closer to Alexa.

Whispering near his earlobe, “Meet me in the room.”

Alexa was immediately aghast, her face red, either because of embarrassment or anger. He pushed my body using his index finger.

For sure now, Alexa's mind is floating everywhere.

“Do not mess with you!” gritted Alexa with bulging eyes.

I laughed, ruffled his bangs.

“You are serious. I was just kidding. Meet me in the backyard, okay.”

Then I stepped away leaving Alexa whose cheeks were as red as tomatoes. I went out of the house, approached Kirana who was holding a bamboo fence at the edge of the fish pond.

I took the fish feed and sprinkled it to the surface of the water. Kirana watched the fish struggling to eat. After that, I crouched down to align my gaze with that toddler.

“Kirana knows, Kirana gets a gift from Kirana's grandfather.”

Kirana frowned in confusion.

“Whose grandfather?”

I open my mouth, shut again. I just remembered that Kirana didn't know anything about her maternal grandfather.

“Kirana has a grandfather named Grandpa Indra. He gave Kirana a house that beeesaaarr once. Kirana likes?”

“What's it like?” kirana asked as her eyeballs glanced upwards. He was imagining what the house was exactly like.

“Later Papa will show you what his home is like.”

Kirana nodded, then went back to paying attention to the fish in the pond. His little hands sprinkled fish feed.

Before long, Alexa came. She hugged Kirana's body and went to feed the fish.

“Alexa,” call me.

Alexa turned her head and stood beside me, “What's up?”

I held out an object I took out of my pants pocket. A red velvet box.

Alexa herself seemed to gasp as I opened the box, revealing a blue sapphire ring surrounded by tiny diamonds embedded in it. The ring twinkled when it was hit by sunlight.

“You like this ring?”

Alexa clenched her mouth with both hands. He was flabbergasted, staring at me and the ring took turns.

“This ring is for me?” Alexa asked back.

I turned both my eyeballs, as Alexa asked.

“Of course. Who else is it for. Kirana's? This ring is too big for Kirana,” I said in an annoyed tone.

Alexa frowned, “You are not romantic at all.”

“So, accept or not this ring,” bluff me. “If not, I'll throw it in the fish pond.”

“Iya, yes, I accept,” Alexa said while stomping her feet.

I took the ring and pinned it to Alexa's ring finger. The girl seemed to blush in embarrassment, as I left one kiss on her clasped fingers.

I put on a smile, pulled Alexa into my arms and Alexa put her head on my chest.

“Then, tomorrow we will get married.”

Alexa immediately re-strapped her head.

“What's tomorrow?” ask Alexa.

“Indeed why? You don't want to?”

“Not so, but we will have to ask for blessing to my sister.”

I rubbed Alexa's hair, and asked her to lean her head back against my chest. I noticed Kirana who was too focused on feeding the fish, so she did not realize that there were two adults hugging behind her.

“Then when can I see your sister? I want us to get married soon. In the next few months I will be busy taking care of the company Irawan Group.”
