Chapter 42 Misunderstanding

I was wrong all along. I suspected Cindy or Frans was Harsa's spy but now I just realized. If Cindy or Frans were Harsa's spies, they wouldn't have deliberately talked about Harsa in front of me.

That would make them suspect. The only person who knew Harsa but never talked about it in front of me was Alexa.

I stepped forward to approach the terrified Alexa, but as soon as I could see Alexa's eyeballs glaring at me hatefully.

I pushed Alexa's body and cornered her on the classroom wall. Gripping Alexa's jaw, forcing her to look at me. One of my hands rests on the wall behind Alexa.

“Tell me how did you get to know Harsa?” I asked by holding all emotions.

Alexa replied in a calm voice, although the look on her face showed otherwise.

“When I ate with your mother, I told her I had an older brother living abroad. The foreign country in question is America. After my parents died, I lived with my sister for a year. And we know Harsa, she's my sister's neighbor.”

“You already know each other apparently?” my lips.

“Kak Alan is very close to his mother Harsa, because both Indonesians live in America.”

I threw away my face. Pissed.

Yes, I remember. Alexa once told my mother that she had an older brother who lived abroad. If at that time I asked more about the Alexa family, maybe at that time I could get a clue about Harsa.

“Kirana is more entitled with Harsa. He's Kirana's biological father,” exclaimed Alexa does not want to lose.

I laughed, but my eyes began to heat up, my eyes blurry because now tears had welled up at the end of my eyes.

“So all this time I admitted myself as a widower one child, but actually you yourself knew from the beginning that it was just a lie.”

“Iya,” Alexa confessed. “Since I first occupied your house, I already know who you are and what your relationship with Kirana is. But according to Harsa's request, I have to pretend not to know.”

I stared fixedly at the pair of shiny black eyeballs, my whole body was shaking, and one clear grain was sliding from the end of my eyes.

It's unbelievable. I used to be suspicious of Alexa, but once I saw her sincerity taking care of Kirana, the suspicion was blown away with a happy feeling when I saw her.

My breath was breathing heavily, my anger was increasing. There are a lot of things I don't know about Alexa.

I pulled out my phone, and showed Dodi a video recording of my interrogation. During the video, Alexa looked flabbergasted. His face was pale and he closed his mouth in shock and handed me back my phone.

Then Alexa returned my gaze with nanar.

“I'm not asking you to trust me. But I only ask you to trust in your little heart. Are all the allegations true?”

“Balin.. “ says Alexa.

I walked backwards, “As Harsa said, get away from me. Don't ever touch my Kirana again! Goodbye, Alexa.”

I left Alexa, but her flickering fingers held my arm.

“One thing you should know, Balin. Although I approached you on Harsa's errand but I loved Kirana with all my heart.”
