Papa To Kirana

Papa To Kirana
Chapter 37 Rama and Shinta

The next morning.

Alexa: I'm in front of the hospital.

I stretched my achy body from sleeping in my chair, rubbed my eyes, and I received a message from Alexa, and then my finger typed in reply.

Rama woke up earlier than me. He had improved, sitting on the patient's bed while playing his cell phone.

Then the door of the room opened, a nurse pushed a trolley delivering breakfast and there was one more nurse in charge of checking Rama's blood pressure.

“Can I go home today, Sus?”

“Normal blood pressure. May be able to go home in the day, but still have to wait for the results of the doctor first yes,” explained the nurse full of hospitality.

After the two medics left the room, I walked up to my sister.

“This is the result of a greedy person. Other people's food, you're exhausted,” I said.

Rama looked so relaxed, he even sat down cross-legged on a hospital bed, devouring his food.

“It's precisely because I ate the cake, Kirana so congratulations right? Try if Kirana who ate, surely now she who now replaces me sleep on this mattress.”

“Show smart you are against your Brother!” my growl.

“What are you doing?” ask Alexa who's on the doorstep.

Alexa who was carrying Kirana closed the door behind her, gave Kirana to me, and then approached Rama's bed.

“You've improved a bit, Ram?”

“Iya, already Brother Alexa.”

Rama's eyes catch the pouch carried by Alexa.

“What is it, Brother?”

“This,” Alexa raised the pouch she held. “I bought porridge for your breakfast.”

“Wah, pleased. Want. Want. I want, Brother,” said Rama like a child who whines at his mother.

“Papa.. “ says Kirana.

“What, Honey?” I asked Kirana who I was carrying.

Kirana wears a pink jumpsuit, with her hair tied in half. Her little hand touched my cheek. Just like Alexa does.

Kirana smiled and I replied.

In that instant I realized, a toddler of Kirana's age had the same feelings and thoughts as an adult.

I can read what Kirana wants to convey just from the look in her eyes.

Kirana dropped her head on my chest.

“You must miss papa, right?”

“It just so happened that Brother Alexa brought you some porridge. As long as Kak Alexa knows, the food in the hospital tastes bad,” Rama chirped.

He scoops the porridge using crackers and devours it round and round.

“So outside there is a woman, she seems to want to go into this room but hesitates,” Alexa said.

“Oh, yes. Does Alexa know who she is?”

“Iya, I greeted him earlier. He said your friend, Rama. Her name is Shinta.”

“What?” Rama dropped the spoon in surprise.

His mouth developed a triumphant smile. In a hurry he put the porridge on the table beside his bed. Pull the blanket and lie down.

“Kak Balin, Sis Alexa, I ask you for help. If Shinta comes in here, please tell me that I haven't woken up from yesterday and my condition is getting worse.”

I took one step back, “I don't want.”

“Kak Balin, please! My combo status is at stake here. Make Shinta pity to see me, Brother.”

“I don't want to participate in your silly plan.” I said firmly.

Rama switched face to Alexa, “Kak Alexa, please me!”

Alexa looked worried but in said, “I help as much as I can ya?”

Then, Rama closed his eyes, pretended to be asleep, Alexa opened the door, and from what I heard he tried to persuade Shinta to enter to see the condition of Rama.

The petite girl also complied with Alexa's invitation, she entered with a shy step.

Shinta nodded her head at me who was sitting in the corner of the room with Kirana. Then he stood beside Rama's bed which was now completely motionless.

I watched the drama created by Rama and Alexa.

“Doctor says, chances are small for Rama to wake up again.”

Sounds like a little Shinta. He covered his red nose with a tissue.

“He always tells you how much he likes you,” Alexa added again.

“He better be a weathered bachelor, if until the end of his life can not get love from you.”

I shut my mouth at once. I wanted to laugh but I held back with all my might. Different from me, Shinta who ate Alexa's words wiped her wet cheeks.

Shinta looked down at his feet, so that he did not see the tip of Rama's lips curved upwards.

Kirana who was in my lap pointed at the wall behind me. I looked up following the direction Kirana was pointing.

There's a lizard.

I know Rama is so scared of lizards. With my deft hand, I caught the lizard.

Pushing my index finger to the lips, Kirana seemed to understand what I meant. The toddler laughed.

I walked over to Alexa and Shinta. I threw the lizard I caught earlier and landed right on Rama's face.

“Rama, no lizard!” myrag.

In the next instant, Rama screeched, his eyes widened wide open and he jumped out of bed. Shinta was surprised to see Rama who suddenly woke up.

While Rama who had forgotten his charade circled around looking for traces of the lizard. Swinging infusion support pole as a lizard repellent device.

But he soon realized. Staring guiltily at the girl he had been after for so many years.

Then put a piercing look at me.

“Kak Balin's... “

Laughter I can't hold anymore. I look up at my sister's embarrassed expression. Along with Kirana who laughed.

It is you who can ruin someone else's plans.

In the afternoon, Rama got permission to go home from the doctor. He folded his arms, his lips were swept five inches, and sat quietly in the back seat of the car.

I glanced at Rama from the windshield, and then I looked at the dreamy Alexa.

“You okay?” I held his cold hand.

Alexa flinched, then nodded.

“So you're thinking?”

“I'm just thinking, who's the one who sent that poisoned cake?”

“It's definitely the brain of all this is Ha... “

I stopped my words. Glance at Alexa who is waiting.

Now is not the time to tell Alexa about Harsa. Because I don't know yet what caused Harsa to want to harm Kirana.

“Ha who?” alexa was impatient.

I cleared my throat, “Otak of all this is the ghost of the rented occupant.”

“Oh yes, indeed in our contract there is a ghost.”

I nodded, scrambling Alexa's curls.

“Have not thought too much. It's my business.”

Alexa remained silent, knowing that my words were only a back joke.

“But... I wonder why anyone would want to harm Kirana. Though he was a baby who did not know anything,” growled Alexa.

I poked her smile, pinched her cute nose, puffed up and deflated when Alexa got angry.

“Come, Brother, walk! Don't make fun of me!” rama shouted in annoyance.
