“Who is that guy? What is Alexa's relationship?”
Before entering the classroom, the man who was with Alexa turned his body, looked he was observing the conditions around, then removed his sunglasses.
I saw the man wearing a necklace with an H hanger.
Harsa. The man was Harsa Russell.
My pupils widened, staring at Harsa standing there, and then entered following Alexa.
Deg.
I sat in the car for a while. Trying to digest what I just saw.
Alexa knows Harsa. Not just knowing. They even look very familiar.
I got out of the car immediately, walking in silent steps to peek at what Alexa and Harsa were doing.
I peeked through the classroom window. Inside, Harsa was sitting at the teacher's desk. While Alexa spoke to Harsa but her eyes were blankly staring at the rows of student desks.
“I have confirmed that Kirana is your son and Karina, and all the data about Balin I have sent via e-mail,” said Alexa.
“Good job, Alexa. Very good work.”
Harsa smiled with satisfaction. He wiped his expensive glasses using a special cloth.
While from my hiding place, like there was lightning in broad daylight snatching me.
So, all this time the person who became the spy Harsa is Alexa. Butwhy? Why Alexa?
This is impossible. I hope the girl with Harsa is not Alexa. However, as I blinked my eyes and looked back at his face. She's really Alexa, the woman I'm going to apply to be my future wife.
“I've reported all of Balin's moves for the last nine months. I think that's enough, Harsa.”
Harsa stuffed the rag into his pocket, flipping through his glasses, as if making sure there was no more dirt stuck to the expensive thing.
“But... I suggest you take Kirana in a good way. What I see, Balin is not what we thought before.”
Harsa sighed, she put her glasses on the table.
“It looks like you have started to be consumed by Balin's attitude which lately softened you, Alexa.”
“But he sincerely loves Kirana,” denies Alexa.
Harsa stood up, both of her hands patting Alexa on the shoulder. He looked straight at the curly-haired girl whose face revealed a hint of doubt.
“Listen to me, Alexa. Don't be fooled by Balin's good attitude. We know for ourselves that she took Karina away, that my father-in-law died and she has no intention of returning Kirana to me. Though he himself knows who Kirana's real father is.”
Whahuh? What kind of accusation is that?
Now I know for myself what Harsa's true nature is. He's cunning and clever twisting the facts.
Alexa bit her lower lip. He is confused, but Harsa continues to doctrine Alexa.
“I conclude, Balin was the one who wanted to harm Kirana but she had a show of affection for Kirana. So that no one would suspect him.”
“How can it?” ask Alexa.
“First, car accident with that truck. He was the one driving the car himself. Second, when Kirana was almost kidnapped. Did you see it happen directly?”
Alexa nodded slowly.
“No right? It could have been a kidnapping that was only engineered Balin with his sister,”, Harsa assured Alexa.
“How about that poisonous cake?”
Harsa clucking. “Come on, Alexa. The cake Balin took from his own restaurant. Do you know what I mean? You know what I mean?”
“That's Balin engineering too? ” says Alexa guess.
“He must have conspired with his sister. Pretending to be food poisoning. Very clever of him, right? That's why you don't be easily fooled by it.”
Harsa ruffled Alexa's hair which made my blood boil even more. I wanted to run to the middle of both of them. Knitting on Harsa's venomous mouth.
But I chose to be quiet. Watching Harsa convince Alexa so cleverly.
Harsa and Alexa still don't realize that I've been watching them since.
“But for what? Why did Balin engineer all that?” Alexa is not out of questions.
“Alexa, Balin's main goal is to harm Kirana. But he made a charade as if someone wanted to do evil to him and Kirana. So that he himself is not suspected.”
“Then, now what are you going to do, Harsa? You're going to report Balin to the police?”
“You know for yourself I don't like the police. I'll take my son my own way.”
“How?”
Harsa smiled. She stroked Alexa's cheek with one of her index fingers.
I was really angry to see Harsa bravely touch Alexa, and disappointed because Alexa was silent not budging.
My disappointment grew as Alexa trusted more venomous talk from Harsa's mouth. I feel betrayed.
Bugs.
I punched the wall as an outlet for my anger. It feels like someone is strangling my neck. I can't say a word.
“You don't need to know, Alexa. I think it's enough to get here on your errands. I pity seeing you.”
Harsa pulled out a checkbook, wrote something down there, and tore it up. Then, Harsa took Alexa's hand, placing a piece of check paper on Alexa's smooth palm.
“This is your payment. Five hundred million is enough? If you are still lacking, just contact me.”
Alexa clasped the paper, but her face was flat, showing no pleasure or anything.
Hansa wears his glasses again. Then move on. But just a few steps, he turned the body.
“What will happen to Balin later is my business. You don't have to think too much about it and I suggest you to move out of that contract immediately.”
“Is there anything you're hiding from me, Harsa?” alexa asked staring intently at the haughty man in front of her.
Harsa instead chuckled, “You're an old friend of mine. What am I hiding? Nothing, Alexa. Now go all the way from Balin. Save yourself!”
Harsa turned the door, and I rushed to find a new hiding place behind a large tree in the school garden.
As Harsa walked past where I was hiding, her phone rang, and her steps came to a halt. I gulped, hoping Harsa didn't realize I was behind a tree right next to her.
“Halo,” says Harsa answered the phone.
I can't hear the words of the person across the phone. But one thing is certain Harsa is getting bad news because he is surprised by the narration of the person who called him.
“He's like a flea in your hair. Just press with your fingernails, everything will be fine. You understand?”
After that, Harsa hung up the phone by swearing loudly she stepped back.
I heaved a sigh of relief because Harsa was unaware of my existence.
Then, I walked into the classroom to see Alexa. The curly-haired girl was about to leave the classroom but was confronted by me, she widened her eyes when she saw I was in the doorway.
“Balin?” alexa said.
“I already know everything,” I said slowly with a face full of disappointment.
