My car rode down a smooth, empty road. Along the side of the road lay a meadow and at the end of the road there, a beach with white sand was waiting for us.
Fortunately, Kirana's birthday fell on holiday, so I could take Alexa and Rama on vacation on the beach that is located outside the city.
I parked the car on the side of the road.
My eyes swept around the beach. White sand combined with super clear sea water. There are not many visitors on the beach and certainly clean, there is no garbage as far as the eye can see.
My lips curl a smile. Then I woke up Rama, Alexa and Kirana.
It's good that you all sleep. While I'm tired of driving a car many kilometers.
“Yeeeyy... Beach...” Rama cheers once awakened.
Immediately he jumped out of the car, ran and splashed himself in the salt water.
Alexa got out of the car while carrying Kirana, and then I took the picnic basket and camera bag that was in the trunk.
Alexa and I were looking for a suitable place to spread out the picnic mat, ignoring Rama who was playing with the beach waves.
“Let Kirana down. Don't carry on,” I said while taking some food out of the picnic basket.
“Balin,” says Alexa.
I looked up at him.
“Photo Kirana! It's the first time he's stepped on beach sand, right?”
“True too,” muttered me while taking the camera out of the bag.
Alexa dropped Kirana on the white sand, and Kirana's expression was very curious about what she was doing.
One shot I took as Kirana sat on the beach sand with Alexa beside her, wearing a floral beach dress.
Then Rama whose body was soaked ran over. Sitting next to me and snatching a piece of sandwich.
“I also want to be photographed dong,” said Rama.
And dozens of photos of Rama with a beach background finally filled the contents of the camera.
“One more time, Brother Balin. I'd like a photo of Alexa and Kirana.”
It turns out that what Rama meant once was once thirty. I was tired of photographing the three of them.
“Where's the camera? I want to see the results of the photo earlier,” said Rama stuck out his hand to take the camera in my hand.
Rama checked my shots, but his forehead immediately frowned.
“Why are Alexa and Kirana's sisters whose photos are clear? Where's ak?”
I flinched and took another camera from Rama. I checked one by one and it turned out to be true. Since then, my focus has only been Alexa and Kirana.
Rama is not photographed. The photo showing Rama looks blurry.
“Kak Balin correct dong. I have installed super cool style since then,” complained Rama.
“That's the wrong camera. Don't want to take pictures of you,” I argue.
Rama took a canned drink and gulped it down. Luckily, Rama's mood was good. So he ran again near the waves.
Then Rama cheered as he waved, “Kirana, here chase Uncle Rama.”
Kirana, who knew his name, turned her head, got up, and walked closer to Rama. Because Kirana is not yet good at walking, only three steps she has fallen down to kiss the sand.
Simultaneously, Alexa and I ran towards Kirana. I lifted Kirana's body and Alexa wiped the sand that stuck to Kirana's cute face.
“Kirana, is it okay?” ask Alexa.
“No one hurts right, son?” also many.
Kirana did not cry, she instead laughed and walked again wanting to join Rama playing water.
“Rama, careful. Take proper care of Kirana!” I shouted at Rama.
Rama replied, “Tenak only. Kirana I won't throw into the sea kok.”
I watched Rama play water with Kirana, and when I wanted to grab a sandwich, my hand touched Alexa's fingers. He was also about to take out the remaining sandwich one piece more.
I immediately withdraw my hand, “Take it.”
At that time Rama also waved his hand calling Alexa.
“Saxa's jack, come here!”
Alexa's beach dress fluttered as she walked over. Waving the messy hair due to the wind. She smiles.
I kissed Kirana.
“Happy birthday, dear Kirana. Papa will always be the front man protecting you from anyone who has evil intentions.”
And Kirana's cheeks are flushed with kisses by me.
Alexa's face changed instantly, but she smiled again when she realized I was glancing at her. Then pinched gently on Kirana's cheek.
“Happy birthday, Kirana gorgeous.”
“Oh yes, I also have not wished Kirana a happy birthday,” Rama forward one step.
He rattled Kirana's thin hair.
“Happy birthday, Kirana. Hopefully later you will not be ashamed to have an uncle like Uncle Rama.”
“Pa,” says Kirana.
“What said it was?” asked Rama.
“Papa,” says Kirana once again. His little index finger was pointing at me.
Me, Alexa and Rama laughed and cheered together.
“His first word was Kirana,” said Alexa laughing patting my shoulder. “His first words Kirana 'papa'. He calls you papa.”
I smiled happily, and tears came to the end of my eyes. Just hearing Kirana say the word ‘papa' alone has moved me.
Rama and Alexa pranced cheerfully, while Kirana, who did not know how to tell, clapped her hands.
“Say once again, Son!” kataku.
“Papa.”
“Oi, camera where camera,” exclaimed Rama ran took the camera that I had put on the picnic mat.
I held Kirana up high which made the one-year-old baby laugh nonstop. Then I sat him on my shoulder, carrying a run along the coastline.
Followed by Alexa running behind me and Rama recording with his camera.
After that, we played building sand castles. I made a sand castle with Kirana whose hands and feet were already dirty with sand.
Alexa built her own palace. Rama preferred to drown himself in the sand. It was as if the white sand was a blanket.
“Papa... “
“Iya, dear Kirana,” I replied while making a palace wall.
Kirana stood up, her small, dirty hands touching my shirt, she gave a kiss on my right cheek and I replied with a hug.
I smile. So did Alexa who saw the scene earlier.
“Papa dear Kirana. Papa will always be there for Kirana.”

Unbeknownst to anyone, a man in a shiny black pantofel shoe stood next to his luxury car.
While smoking a cigarette, the man noticed three adults and one toddler who was engrossed in playing sand quite far from where he stood.
Then he dumped the cigarette butt into the ground, and he muttered, “That child must die like his mother and grandfather.”
A necklace hanging around the man's neck swung as the owner turned around to get into the car. A necklace with a pendulum in the shape of the letter H.
