Chapter 9: Three Months

Bryan arrived at Seira's rental after a few minutes on the way. He knocked on the door and rang Seira's contract bell. After a long wait, there was no confirmation of Bryan's call.

"Seira" said Bryan as he knocked on the door.

"Maybe he's out buying something" Bryan muttered.

Bryan accidentally didn't call Seira. If the man contacts Seira first, the woman will never show up because of her laziness to meet Bryan.

"I'll wait until he gets home" Bryan said excitedly.

After an hour and a half of waiting in front of the Seira Contract, a car stopped right in front of him. Bryan stood by and waited for who would get out of the car.

Seira and Kevin both got out of the car. The man Bryan had seen at the restaurant. Men who wear branded goods from top to bottom it appears again.

"Bryan, what are you doing here?" seira asked as she went into her contract.

"Where are you from?" ask Bryan.

"I went with my best friend" Seira replied.

"Heaa ..." said Kevin while pointing at Bryan.

Kevin realizes that he's the pretend boyfriend Seira told him about. He looked at Bryan's face and put on a dislike face.

"I want to say something to both of you" Bryan continued.

"Can't, you guys just talk here" Kevin said, not accepting.

"Kevin you go home first, we've been gone all day" said Seira afraid Bryan said strange things in front of Kevin.

"You sure you dare yourself?" ask Kevin to make sure.

"I'm not a bad person, Seira told you to go anyway" Bryan said.

After a long argument with a heavy heart Kevin went home leaving the two of them. He could not argue with Seira's desire to ask her to go home.

"Kevin's home, what are you talking about?" ask Seira without further ado.

"I want us to continue with the boyfriend's lie" Bryan replied seriously.

"What's? make what?" ask Seira in shock.

"My parents don't seem to believe I'm dating you, he told his subordinates to follow us" Bryan said.

"No one goes out without a date and my parents found out, they started to get suspicious" Bryan continued.

"That's none of my business" Seira replied unconcernedly.

"Don't you have to clean up your stamped name as a cheat by your ex?" bryan asked smartly.

Seira was silent for a moment, how could she forget about it. Bara and Vera have seen him walk alone with Kevin and consider himself cheating on Bryan. He didn't want the accursed couple to consider themselves the same as they were cheaters.

"Well, how long are we gonna pretend to date?" ask Seira.

"Three months, three months is enough to make everyone believe and we'll break up after" Bryan said.

"Let's be like a real date for three months"

Seira finally agreed with Bryan's opinion. After three months they can break up without suspicion by any party. What Seira doesn't know is Bryan's intention behind it all, he wants to capture Seira's heart for three months together.

"Alright, I agree" Seira replied.

"Okay, let's start from today" Bryan said excitedly.

"I just got home, I'm too tired to go out again" Seira said tiredly.

"When did you buy all that?" ask Seira.

"Two hours ago, I was waiting for you here for a long time" Bryan replied.

"Huh? why didn't you call me?" seira asked in shock knowing that Bryan had been waiting for her all that long.

"I'm afraid you're gonna kick me out" Bryan replied sadly.

Seira laughed at Bryan's innocent reply. How could he possibly drive people out of his contract. Seira did not expect Bryan to have such a side in him.

Seira and Bryan chat on the rented terrace while eating a snack. Sometimes Seira smiled beautifully which made Bryan difficult to turn away from his beautiful face.

When they were busy telling stories, the sound of a message was heard from Seira's phone. Seira opened the message and shouted.

"Yeee, I got accepted to work" said Seira happily.

Bryan who heard that smiled wryly. She is happy to see Seira happily accepted into her family's branch company.

"What did you accept?" bryan pretended not to know.

"I signed up at a branch company to fill my free time" Seira said in a happy tone.

"Well, we're going to date less now" Bryan replied with a sad look.

"It's okay we can date when I get home from work, after all you have to work too" Seira replied again.

"Well from tomorrow I'll pick you up after work" Bryan asked.

"Alright it's okay if it doesn't bother you" Seira replied with no objections.

A high-heeled woman was walking towards an office run by her father. She was very graceful and charming to everyone who saw her.

"Let's see who's coming, Daddy's favorite daughter" said Mr. Herman.

Larissa smiled seeing her arrival well welcomed by her father. She missed her father very much and immediately hugged him.

"Dad, I miss you so much" Larissa said.

"Dad misses you so much Larissa, you come back, even you look prettier than usual" said the happy father.

"Dad could have been, I was grooming regularly while abroad haha" replied Larissa laughing.

"For while you're working here with me, starting next month I'll find you the right position in the central company so you can get back to work with Bryan" the father knew his daughter's wishes.

"Ahh Bryan, I really miss Dad" Larissa said again.

"Did she have a boyfriend since breaking up with me, Dad?" ask Larissa again.

"Nothing, not even he was nicknamed the man who was stuck in the past by the people in the company, he's been a cold man since he parted with you" the father replied.

"Thank God, I don't want her to be with another woman Daddy" Larissa replied.

"Of course Dad won't let that happen, you have to be the daughter-in-law of the Wijaya family" the father said.

"Is that possible Dad?" ask Larissa again.

"Of course, however, Father is the right hand of Mr. Wijaya, you do not need to worry" said Larissa's father.

"Thank you Dad" Larissa replied as she hugged her father.

Larissa smiled at her father's words. He couldn't help it if Bryan would choose another woman besides himself. She will remain Bryan's only woman. Larissa was not aware that there was already another woman occupying her position. The woman had filled the space in Bryan's long-empty heart. Larissa still thinks Bryan still has the same feelings as her even after he left the man for three years.
