Chapter 36: Pregnancy

Bryan pensively thought of Larissa's words about their son. He did not believe Larissa's words at all. But somehow she was also afraid that Larissa had actually conceived her child. He had no heart in an innocent child having to live without a father.

On the other hand Bryan also thought of his lover Seira. He loved the woman more than he did. Bryan doesn't want Seira to get hurt because of her past. The man no longer knew what to do to protect Seira as well as her relationship.

"Find out if Larissa really has any children by any means" Bryan told his men.

"Okay sir" replied the subordinate.

Bryan goes to Seira's rent and takes her to lunch together. Seira decides to take a day off since the tragedy with Romeo.

"Let's go" Bryan said.

While in the car Seira more silent and pensive. He didn't understand why everyone was trying to hurt him. But he has nothing wrong with them. He doesn't know the relationship is in the people around him. As Larissa is ex-Bryan and Romeo likes William a fellow man.

"Why you, baby?" ask Bryan.

"I don't know why they did this, I never did anything bad to them" Seira replied.

Bryan felt guilty for his girlfriend. Plus there is news about the child even though it is not clear and it could be just the subterfuge Larissa.

"What if you just quit your job over there, baby?" bryan pinta.

"I can't, I have to hang on a little bit more so I have enough experience" Seira said.

"You can work in a central company with me directly" Bryan said.

"I don't want to, my life would be more unsettled if people knew I was the CEO's girlfriend" Seira said.

"Then you're in your company with Freddin" Bryan proposes again.

"I'm still lazy to see my Papa" Seira said.

After hearing that Bryan had no other income to give to Seira. All his opinions were rejected by Seira.

Upon arriving at the restaurant, Seira and Bryan order lunch. While waiting for Seira to accidentally meet her best friend Vivian who turns out to know Bryan as well.

"Seira" said the girl.

"Hei Vivian finally we meet" said Seira hugging tightly and cipika cipiki with Vivian.

"I just got back from Amsterdam because I plan to get married here, I've made an invitation for you tomorrow I'll drop off" Vivian said.

"Finally you will get married I am very happy" said Seira.

"Vivian" said Bryan.

Vivian looks at Bryan's face and instantly remembers who the man is. She is a college friend from Indonesia in Amsterdam along with Larissa, and her best friend Diko.

"You're with Seira." said Vivian confused.

"Well, she's my boyfriend" Bryan replied.

"Well this world is so narrow, Seira is my best friend since Elementary School and High School and you are my college friend" said Vivian happily.

"Of course" Seira replied happily.

Actually Bryan was afraid Vivian would ask about Larissa. Fortunately until the end of their conversation the name Larissa was not mentioned at all. Bryan calmed down a bit and continued eating them when Vivian was home.

"You close to Vivian?" ask Bryan.

"Lumayan, he's been my friend since we were in Elementary School" Seira said.

"When what are you?" ask Seira again.

"Only college friends, not too familiar" said Bryan.

"So who are you familiar with?" ask Seira.

"Aaa with Chiko" Bryan replies eighthly because he used to be close to Larissa.

"You weren't dating back to college in Amsterdam?" ask Seira curiously.

"We don't have to talk about the past baby, the most important thing is you and our future" Bryan replied, shifting the subject.

"Hemm you must have deliberately shifted the subject" said Seira again.

After eating Seira and Bryan went to watch a movie. They repeat their date back at the beginning of the acquaintance.

"Don't you remember the first time we went to the movies?" ask Seira.

"Certainly remember dong" replied Bryan.

Laura felt bad and limp. Already from morning he felt nauseous and had a headache. He called Freddin to check his health into the hospital.

Freddin quickly left his room and headed towards Laura's house. He was driving at high speed and arrived in a fast time.

"Are you okay, baby?" freddin asked Laura who looked pale.

"I just feel unwell" Laura replied.

"Let's go to the hospital now" Freddin said.

Laura nodded and prepared the items she would bring to the hospital. After changing into her clothes Laura was then ready to leave. During the trip Freddin's face looked anxious to see his girlfriend.

Arriving at the hospital, Laura was immediately examined by a Doctor who had made an appointment with Laura. After some time the doctor called Laura's guardian to accompany her. The doctor started talking to Laura and Freddin with a smile on his face.

"This is Mr. Bu, I have checked the health of Ms. Laura, thank God there is no problem" said the doctor.

"Thank God Doc, then why does he look pale Doc?" ask Freddin again.

"The good news is that Ms. Laura is three weeks pregnant" said the doctor.

Laura instantly remembered that she had not menstruated this month. He immediately looked at Freddin's pale-looking face. Laura was disappointed to see Freddin's facial reaction.
