Chapter 61: Bryan Shot

Bryan and his lawyers began to assist Larissa in seizing child custody. Larissa admits that Owen did not even have a job to raise a child. He is still an employee who works in a branch office with his father.

All efforts were made until Larissa won the child custody case. But how insolent Owen who had lost the case was about to steal Zelyn from Larissa. Zelyn, who had been brought in from overseas by Larissa's family, was suddenly stolen while at the airport.

Larissa was so panicked that she called Bryan. He tells everything and asks Bryan to help her a second time.

"Owen stole Zelyn at the airport, please help me Bryan" said Larissa crying sobs.

"You calm down first, me and my subordinates will help you" replied Bryan who was eager to see Larissa's life now.

Bryan immediately ordered his subordinates to scatter and search for Owen. A few days of searching, Owen's trail was found in a remote village not so far from the city.

"Find every house without making a fuss for the community" Bryan said.

"Okay sir" replied the bodyguards.

Once traced, Owen can be among the community. The man mingled as if he was one of the people there. Bryan's team chases Owen, who manages to run with Zelyn in his carrier.

Larissa and Bryan immediately came to the location after being told by the superiors. Seeing Owen who was surrounded and near the ravine made Larissa worried. He was afraid that Owen would act foolishly and endanger his daughter's life.

"Owen handed Zelyn over he's not wrong" Larissa said.

"Back off all of you, or else me and Zelyn will jump together into the abyss" Owen threatened.

"Owen please Owen don't do that" Larissa began to cry.

"You don't mess with Larissa, or this kid won't be safe" Owen replied.

"What do you want Owen? money?" bryan asked in a panic.

"Of course I like money, now prepare 1 M of cash along with a plane ticket for me if you want this child to be safe" Owen replied.

"Owen, you're crazy, he's our son, so you can do this" Larissa said.

"Silent you are Larissa, you are as evil as I am, you want to trick Bryan into using this child" Owen replied loudly.

"I knew I was wrong, so I wanted to fix all this from the beginning, I just wanted to live safe with Zelyn now, nothing more" Larissa replied pleading.

"Back off you all or we'll jump" Owen replied.

"Alright I'll give you the money and the plane ticket, but hand over the boy, you're just endangering him" Owen said.

"Give it up first and I'll give you this child" Owen said.

Bryan immediately ordered the bodyguards he trusted the most to carry the cash. Fortunately Bryan always provided large amounts of cash in his office. He even booked a plane ticket for Owen so that the baby could be rescued soon.

"Why did you help me get this way" Larissa said in tears.

"I was just helping the baby, he was innocent" Bryan replied.

"I will repay your kindness and work to replace your money" Larissa said.

"You just have to live well, money matters you don't have to worry about" Owen replied.

Larissa came back crying, how could she be so mean to a man so good to her. The man who used to love her so deeply. If you repeat the time Larissa does not want to do stupid things a second time. But the rice has become porridge. Larissa can only now regret everything and learn from her mistakes.

"I can't believe all of you, you'll catch me once I hand over Zelyn" Owen said.

"So how are you going to give up Zelyn" Owen said.

"Give me a replacement Zelyn's gun, I can protect myself with it" Owen replied.

"Give him a gun" Bryan said, obeying Owen's will.

After Bryan gave Owen a gun, the man now asked everyone to drop their weapons. When all is done, Larissa approaches to retrieve Zelyn from Owen.

"All we've given Owen, we just want the boy" Larissa pleaded.

"All of you back down, only Larissa will take this child" Owen said.

All of Bryan's members retreated following Owen. The man eventually hands Zelyn over to Larissa so that the younger man escapes with money and weapons. After Zelyn was safe with Larissa, Owen immediately ran with money and weapons.

Bryan immediately secures Larissa and the baby. After that they chased after Owen who had run. They won't let Owen go free after everything he's done.

"Let's go after him, don't let Owen get away" Bryan said.

"Okay sir" replied the subordinate.

They immediately chased after Owen and of course quickly found him. As he was about to be arrested, Owen fired a shot right into Bryan's chest. Owen was shocked to learn that the bullet hit Bryan. Seeing Owen who was confused, Bryan's trusted bodygurad immediately arrested Owen and took him to the police station.

Bryan was immediately taken to the hospital. News of Bryan being hit by gunfire soon spread. Larissa cried and blamed herself. He was afraid that Bryan would lose his life because he had helped him.

Larissa immediately went to Seira to explain everything. Seeing Larissa come to see him, Seira turned her face away.

"I think I need to explain something to you" Larissa said.

"I don't care about you anymore, it's up to you to get married or not" Seira replied.

"Seira please listen to me, Bryan is now dying" Larissa said in tears.

"You don't have to pretend, I know you're working together" Seira replied.

"He is now in the hospital, he was shot by Owen" Larissa said.

"You think I'll believe it?" ask Seira.

"Please you have to trust me, Bryan has helped me from Owen, the father of my real son" Larissa said.

"What makes me believe you?" ask Seira.

Larissa immediately took out a paper from her bag. The paper contains DNA tests from Zelyn that he has created to convince Seira.

"This child is not Bryan's son, he's my son with my affair his name is Owen" Larissa began to tell stories.

"Since the beginning Bryan was just a victim, Owen and I were the bad ones to make Bryan like this" Larissa said.

"I left him and chose to be with my wicked mistress, after she met you she was so happy, I was obsessed with marrying her so that I could get a lot of treasure, therefore I lied to say Zelyn was Bryan's son" Larissa explained.
