Chapter 24: Freddin's Anger

Bryan immediately asked how Seira knew Larissa to know the exact story. The man then started a light conversation that did not surprise Seira.

"So your dinner buddy's a larissa?" bryan asked a simple question.

"Yes I had dinner with Larissa" Seira replied honestly.

"How do you know Larissa?" bryan asked curiously.

"We work in the same office and the same division" Seira said.

"It's just fitting that he didn't set himself up at headquarters, it turns out that he was playing at the branch office" Bryan muttered.

"What kind of girl do you think she is?" bryan asked Seira.

"Hmm did you like him that way to the point?" ledek Seira pouted.

"Of course not, I'm worried about you, after all you went to dinner with her but you were unconscious" Bryan replied so that Seira did not misunderstand.

"Hmm I think he's weird, sometimes good, sometimes evil, sometimes cruel, sometimes like a friend" Seira answered honestly.

"You've known him for a long time?" ask Bryan again.

"Not yet, we met when I was an employee at the branch office" Seira replied again.

Bryan thought what motive Larissa had hidden with all this. She doesn't think Larissa has a plan that involves Seira in it. Bryan believes Larissa already knows that she is the woman Bryan likes. The man immediately finds out what happened and protects his lover no matter what.

Laura dented her hair in annoyance, she recalled Freddin's lie about Seira's birthday. Tenyata Seira's birthday is next month and not what Freddin said.

"Basically, he must have asked me to buy his sister's gift so I failed a blind date with Niko, a sneaky Freddin" Laura said.

*A week ago

Laura remembers that Freddin told Seira his birthday. He also helped Freddin choose a gift for his brother. Likewise with Laura who loves Seira like her biological brother does not want to miss. She bought Seira a beautiful limited edition dress as her birthday present.

The next day Laura went to Seira's contract with a cake and a gift. Arriving there Laura was very surprised to see Seira dumbfounded and did not understand what happened.

"Who's Laura's birthday?" ask Seira confused.

Laura immediately understood that she had been wrong not to make sure to go back and believe Freddin's words. In order not to be so embarrassed Laura gave the most reasonable excuse to Seira.

"This is just a gift of my return, brother, while abroad we rarely meet" said Laura gave the paper bag dress.

"Gosh you don't have to bother baby, keep her cake for what?" ask Seira again.

Seira and Laura end up eating the cake and talking about their past. Seira also tried the dress given by Laura. The dress was very suitable for her and looked fitting on her body.

Laura shook her head remembering the events of a week ago were so embarrassing. It was fortunate that he was smart to make excuses so Seira was not suspicious of him.

"Freddin's a jerk, I almost felt ashamed before Brother Sharon" grutu.

Freddin was at work feeling his ears suddenly hot like someone was talking about him. He recalled the rejection Laura had given him. The man did not think the woman who had chased him all out was now the woman he wanted so much.

"If I had treated you well first" Freddin said regretfully.

Freddin immediately took his car keys and went to Laura's house without giving it up first. When he reached the gate of Laura's house, Freddin saw a car coming out. The woman in the car looks like Laura. Due to the dark side window film, Freddin could not see clearly. The man could only see from the windshield as their car passed.

Without waiting any longer Freddin followed the car carefully. Somehow her heart was so certain that Laura was in it. After a long while on the way the black car finally stopped. As expected Freddin came out a woman he knew very well with a man his date Niko. Laura and Doctor Niko walk into the cafe and talk.

Freddin waited in his car and watched the two of them. When he sees Niko being alone, Freddin gets out of the car and into the cafe. He chose a chair that turned his back to Laura and Niko's place.

While Laura was in the bathroom, Niko's cell phone rang. At first Freddin did not care much to hear the man's conversation. A word coming out of Niko's mouth shocked Freddin greatly.

"I'm outside baby, I'll pick you up later" Niko said on the phone while looking at the bathroom of the woman afraid Laura suddenly appeared.

"Darling?" german Freddin did not believe that one word.

"He's got a girlfriend?" the inner Freddin.

Freddin immediately exited the Cafe when he saw Laura would sit back. The man remained waiting outside until the two of them finished talking at the Cafe.

Dr. Niko and Laura left the cafe after an hour and a half had passed. Freddin almost fell asleep instantly unconscious. He swiftly followed back Doctor Niko's car.

"We'll see who your dear is before assuming further" Freddin said, fearing that Doctor Niko spoke to his mother on the phone.

After delivering Laura the car Niko walked outside the gate of Laura's residence. Freddin was waiting there. He is so good at driving that Niko does not suspect anything if anyone follows him.

After half an hour on the way, Niko's car stopped at a modest house. A beautiful woman was waiting in the yard. Niko went out and approached the woman. They hugged each other and smiled at each other. Niko immediately opened the car door for the young woman.

Freddin swiftly memofo the incident that was in front of him without being missed. The man was furious when he saw the show before him. She doesn't think Niko is such a jerk and dares to cheat on Laura.

"See, you dare to play Laura" Freddin said angrily.

He immediately left the place feeling devastated. Freddin wouldn't let anyone hurt Laura in any way. He soon devises a way to separate Niko from Laura without making Laura hurt. The man won't let Laura know that Niko already has another lover she's hiding.
