Chapter 28: Falling in Love Again

Kevin Leo Andreans was walking down the path with a briefcase in his hand. He came home early today to enjoy his life. The driver was told to go home first so he could drive his own car.

While walking, a girl was crying. The boy dropped his lollipop accidentally onto the ground. When Kevin was about to help the boy, a woman was already ahead of him.

"Are you okay?" ask the woman.

The little boy just shook his head. Her body was not injured, she just accidentally dropped her lollipop.

"My lung fell, my money was up to buy a new one" the boy said.

"You don't have to cry, let's buy a new one" the woman said.

The little boy and the woman clasped hands and walked towards the shop. The woman gave three lollipops to the little boy.

"This is to be eaten tomorrow, the way forgot the toothbrush yes" said the woman smiling as she stroked the child's hair.

Kevin was fascinated to see the woman's behavior. Unknowingly his feet followed the beautiful woman's steps until he stopped at a small cafe down the street.

Flashback a week ago

Kevin comes to Seira's contract with some food that the woman likes. Seira was waiting for him on the porch. Kevin smiled and gave his gift while sitting next to Seira.

"Are you happy?" ask Kevin to Seira.

"No, I've just been feeling more alive for a while now" Seira replied smiling.

"I know why you're happy" Kevin said again.

"Why?" ask Seira curiously.

"It seems like you really like Bryan" Kevin said in a sad tone.

"Really?" ask Seira again.

"Yes, I know how you're in love, again I'm late" Kevin said.

"Kev, you know that I've considered you my brother since we were kids" Seira said.

"Yes I know, lately I've also been thinking about giving up, it seems like we are not meant to be together" explained Kevin.

"Since I've always liked you and chased after you, but your feelings never change, you're even more comfortable with the man you just met" Kevin looked very sad as he said those words.

"I'm sorry Kev, you know that love can't be made up" Seira said regretfully.

"It's okay Ra, but you still have to think of me as your brother, no matter how big we are together" Kevin said again.

Seira hugged Kevin sincerely. He knew Kevin was a good man who was always present in his life. But Seira can't force herself to like Kevin. His feelings of regret for Kevin were purely as a friend even as a family to Seira.

Kevin is also aware that Seira has never considered herself more. He wants to confess his feelings so that Seira is happy and does not feel burdened by his feelings. Kevin also realizes that Bryan has managed to steal Seira's cold heart.

"May you find a woman who will really make you happy Vin" said Seira sincerely.

"Hopefully so" replied Kevin smiling.

"Pursuing your happiness Seira, I know you really like Kevin" Kevin said.

"Do you feel like we're a compatible couple?" ask Seira.

"Of course, the Bryan family is also on par with us, surely you will get blessing" Kevin said again.

"I hope so, I also did not expect to be able to open my heart again to the man I just knew" said Seira.

Kevin enters the cafe where the woman stops. Upon entering the cafe, Kevin did not find the figure of the lollipop woman. Kevin's eyes search every end of the Cafe and don't find it.

When Kevin was about to leave, the beautiful woman appeared from behind a special staff room with clothes that had been replaced. He changed with the woman standing guard at the order table. Kevin quickly headed to the table to order a drink.

"I ordered Americano iced one yes" Kevin told the woman.

"Well, the total is Rp.38,000,- " said the woman.

Kevin immediately paid with QRIS and waited for his order. Shortly afterwards the woman came bearing Kevin's order with a smile.

"This is your order ready" said the woman politely while smiling kindly.

"Thank you" Kevin replied smiling as well.

"Well, if you know whose name you are?" kevin asked ventured as the woman placed Kevin's order on the table.

"My name is Yuna" said the beautiful woman as she lowered her head and left.

Kevin was happy to know the girl's name and her workplace. The girl looked simple with a friendly smile on her pretty face.

"It seems right people say, the cure for heartbreak is to fall in love again" Kevin said in his heart.

Seira fondles Bryan who is cooking something for him. The woman hugged Bryan affectionately from behind until her hands wrapped around Bryan's body.

"I look like my dream husband" Bryan said.

"Of course" Seira replied beginning to not be shy anymore.

"Tomorrow are you still at the office?" ask Bryan.

"Yes, I have to go to the office" Seira replied.

"You have to be careful with Larissa" Bryan said again reminded Seira.

"Whoever you take it easy, you're so afraid of Larissa, you don't even know her" Seira said.

Bryan hasn't dared to tell Seira that he's a former Larissa. The man was afraid that Seira misunderstood and hated him. Bryan was thinking of the right way to convey that important information without angering Seira.

"You take it easy Larissa is not that bad" said Seira again.

"Well, if anything happens, you have to tell me" Bryan said.

After the meal was ready to be served, Seira and Bryan ate first and stopped their conversation. Bryan's cooking was better than his. Seira begins to feel Bryan is the ideal man who is able to do everything.

"You must be a playboy" said Seira.

"Why did you say that?" asked Bryan pouty.

"How do you know how to attract a woman?" seira Goda.

"That means you're interested in me?" bryan asked happily.

Seira nodded and smiled at Bryan. Eventually Seira accepts Bryan completely without any more pretend courtship. They agreed to start their original relationship for no other reason. Bryan had already managed to make Seira fall for him and accept his love. Although they have not known for long, but Seira believes Bryan is a good man who will give him happiness every day.
