Chapter 7: The Bedding of the Bed

Bryan arrived at the restaurant 10 minutes later. The man saw Seira talking to the man he had just seen. But strangely the man looks very familiar in Bryan's eyes.

"Seira" said Bryan calling.

The shocked Seira immediately stared towards the voice that called out to her. God, he knows that the world is really very narrow. Why does this man always appear before him. Seira tries to stay calm so as not to attract Kevin's attention.

"Seira kamh didn't hear me call" Bryan said annoyedly.

"It looks like he called you" Kevin told Seira.

"What's wrong?" ask Seira to Bryan.

"He who? your new boyfriend?" ask Bryan to the point.

"He was my best friend since childhood" Seira replied unwilling to hurt Kevin's feelings if he answered nobody.

"When you meet your high school friends, now friends since childhood, you have so many men by your side" said Bryan annoyed.

"It's none of your business, what bond do we have until you have to interfere with my business?" ask Seira ruthlessly.

"However some people think of us as lovers, you should pay attention to your surroundings" Bryan said in a stern tone.

"meaning?" ask Seira confused.

"Bara and Vera see you walking alone with this guy, they consider you a cheater right now" Bryan explained.

"How can they see me?" ask Seira.

"You should be more careful" Bryan said, leaving them.

Bryan left feeling muddled, he did not want to show his anger and disappointment to Seira. He knows they have nothing to do with him but a fake girlfriend, but somehow Bryan feels a jealous flare in his chest. But the man still denied his love for the woman he just knew and even unknown origin.

"It sounds like who you really are" Bryan said.

"How dare you show up and grab my attention" Bryan continued inwardly.

Bryan rushed to the parking lot and went home. With mixed feelings Bryan carried his car at high speed. Arriving at Mama Bryan's house was like she was waiting for him. The young-looking old lady was holding a pink letter.

"Bryan, someone left this to the security guard" said Mama Bryan gave the letter.

"He said in the address for you, Mama did not dare to open it" continued Mama Bryan again while returning to the room.

"Still Ma" Bryan replied and went to his room as well.

Bryan put the pink letter on his desk. He was about to take a shower first to refresh his mind. After bathing and still wrapped in a towel on his lower body, Bryan held the letter back.

Seira and Kevin looked at each other for a moment after Bryan's departure. Kevin's face implies wanting to be immediately given a reasonable explanation for today's events. Seira knew this and was thinking about the best reason he would give.

"He is the son of the Wijaya family" said Seira honestly.

"Wijaya Company?" ask Kevin to clarify.

"Yes, we were fake girlfriends to trick some people" Seira explained without following how she first met Bryan.

"meaning?" kevin did not understand.

"My ex-boyfriend thinks I can't move on because I'm still alone, while he's been with his affair" said Seira lazily explained the embarrassing story.

"Who dares to love you, let me know" Kevin said in an angry tone.

"No need, he's just useless trash" replied the sadistic Seira.

"I was just fooled by his kindness at the beginning and didn't think that he was a jerk" Seira added.

Kevin just fell silent, he wanted to avenge without Seira's knowledge. He simply told his assistant to investigate who the former Seira mentioned was.

"Never date a man carelessly" Kevin said seriously.

"I know, it's not going to happen" Seira replied.

"Now you still continue the role of fake girlfriend with the son of the Wijaya family?" ask Kevin.

"No, unless there's something sudden about her family, because she's already introduced me to her family" Seira replied.

"How do you know?" ask Kevin again.

Seira could not answer honestly to this question. The girl couldn't possibly say that Bryan was the man who took his chastity by accident on the night they were drunk.

"Only introduced by old friends" Seira replied lying and giving the most plausible reason.

Upon arrival at Seira's house, Kevin immediately said goodbye because there was a sudden business in the company. Seira also wanted to rest due to exhaustion. Seira decides to look for a job that has nothing to do with her family.

"I have to find a job so I don't look unemployed" Seira said.

Seira's finances are still as usual. Every month on the same date her father routinely sends large sums of money to Seira's account. But Seira did not use the money, all this time he lived with his savings are still a lot. Tired of being hired, Seira decides to find work at a company that won't recognize her long-held identity.
