Chapter 39: Unexpected

William comes to Romeo to discuss further his problems with Seira. He wanted to make clear what really happened. Miranda secretly knows about it and intends to help William.

"I'll help you" Miranda said.

"No, it's going to put you in danger" William said.

"I know where Romeo's house is, we can sneak in to find out why Romeo did it to Seira" Miranda said.

"Alright but you have to keep your safety, let's go" William asked.

They went to Romeo's house directed by Miranda. After making sure the house was empty and Romeo was in the office, they finally barged in. How surprised Miranda and William saw that. William's photo on Romeo's bedroom wall. He put a love sticker on every photo of William.

Seeing that William was so creepy and disgusted. Similarly, Miranda who saw it became frightened. He never thought Romeo liked the same sex. Especially the man she likes has William their office friend. Miranda realizes that she and Romeo have the same taste as William.

"How can I compete with men" said Miranda.

William immediately unpacked Romeo's desk drawer and found many of his lost items. William's missing tie, pen, and glasses turned out to be in a drawer.

"What a terrible thing, Romeo is totally unpredictable" Miranda said.

"You're right how he might like a man" William added.

"It looks like we've got an answer without digging any deeper" Miranda said.

"What's that?" william did not understand.

"Romeo did all this to Seira out of jealousy, you liked Seira so blatantly" Miranda said.

"You're right it makes perfect sense, it's probably the most true" William said.

They immediately went to the office after cleaning up their random Romeo house. Along the way William shivers at the thought of himself being liked by men.

"Are you okay?" ask Miranda who secretly likes William.

"I'm okay I'm just upset that nobody likes me all this time, once someone likes even a man" William complained.

"Who says no one likes you?" ask Miranda.

"Didn't that?" ask William again.

"I like you, I like your silliness a lot" Miranda smiled.

William was speechless hearing Miranda's sudden confession. He's had two shocking incidents today. How could two of his office friends like him. The woman he likes doesn't like it.

"I know you like Seira, but sometimes, not everything we like likes us, Seira also has someone in her heart, just like you who likes Seira" said Miranda sage.

William confirmed the sentence that came out of Miranda's mouth. We can't always get what I want just like that. There is always no match until we are tired of looking for the perfect one.

William is back to find out who is behind this drug case. After a long search of her and her team members pretending to be their employees finally get a bright spot. A subordinate managed to meguping the talk of the Branch Chief on the phone.

"Who is the head of that branch?" ask William.

"He's the father of Larissa Lord" said the subordinate.

"Larissa's father used to work here?" ask William to make sure.

"Further investigate this man follow him wherever he is unnoticed, and find the evidence" William orders.

"Alright Master will we do" said the subordinate.

The next day Seira returns to the office and works as usual. Romeo looked at him like he wanted to say something. Seeing that Seira came to Romeo without fear, she did not want to run away from the problem anymore.

"What's wrong?" ask Seira.

"I want to apologize" Romeo said embarrassedly.

"For what?" ask Seira to clarify.

"I was just a little upset with you back then, you were beautiful and talented, everyone liked you" Romeo said.

"You're gonna repeat it again?" ask Seira firmly.

"No, I promise I won't do that to you again" Romeo said.

"Alright then I accept your apology" Seira replied so kindly.

Seeing that Seira was talking to Romeo, Miranda came soon. He thought Romeo would come back to hurt Seira. He pulled Seira's hand and took her away to talk in a quiet place.

"Why are you still talking to him? you're not afraid?" ask Miranda.

"Everyone must have done something wrong Mir, he regretted doing that to me" Seira said.

"Do you know why he did that?" ask Miranda again.

"No, why?" ask Seira.

"He likes William Ra, Romeo knows William likes you so he doesn't like it" Miranda said.

"You mean he's homosexual?" ask Seira in shock.

"Yes, he's a guy, all the pictures of William we found in his room" Miranda said.

"It's not just a photo, William's lost belongings we found in his drawer" Miranda continued.

"Geez why it's so scary" Seira said beginning to get scared.

"Therefore you must be careful going forward, no one knows what will happen" advises Miranda.

"Well I'll be more careful in the future, thanks for helping me Mir, but you also like William" Seira smiled.

"Huh? you knew?" ask Miranda astonished.

"It's too obvious, of course I know" Seira said again.

"Don't tell anyone" Miranda said.

"You just calm down, maybe one day William will wake up and open his heart to you" said Seira calming.

"Hopefully, I'm looking forward to that day" Miranda said.
