Chapter 4: Jealousy

Bryan travels to Seira who is waving to his sister who just came home. Bryan with a jealous face approached Seira with a few questions.

"He who?" bryan asked Seira.

"Nobody" Seira replied in shock fearing her identity being exposed.

"He looks like a rich man" Bryan said.

"He's just my high school friend" Seira answered lying to Bryan not to ask further.

"Oh yeah? what's he doing here? ask Bryan.

"Who are you? we close?" ledek Seira again.

"However we've shared the bed" Bryan replied to Seira's teasing.

Seira's cheeks flushed red, she was embarrassed and felt her body heat up. Seira walks into his contract. Bryan followed her from behind like a pointy child towards her employer.

"What are you doing?" ask Seira.

"You're in" Bryan replied.

"You can't go in, we're nobody" Seira replied firmly.

"Hmm the turn needs to be considered, you forgot yesterday I helped you in front of your ex" Bryan said.

"So you want to get something in return?" ask Seira.

"Well, now it's your turn to help me" Bryan said.

"What can I help you with?" ask Seira again.

"Let's pretend to date in front of my dad, I want him to stop setting me up" Bryan said.

Seira was silent, it was not only him who was haunted by arranged marriages by parents. But Seira is afraid of her disguise being exposed for pretending to be Young Master's lover.

"I'm afraid, your parents will interrogate me" replied Seira fearfully.

"Calm down, we're just pretending. We can fake your identity if you're uncomfortable" Bryan said.

"Alright I agree, but just for a moment, I don't want this pretend courtship to be sustainable" Seira said.

"Well, tomorrow at 19:00 I'll pick you up for dinner with my parents" Bryan said.

"Oke Bryan" Seira replied in agreement.

Freddin was choosing the watch he was going to wear. Tonight he's having an important dinner with his business partner. Her face that seems cute is still suitable to be a high school boy.

"Mr Freddin, someone wants to see you" said the waiter.

"Who's Bi?" ask Freddin.

"A beautiful Miss" replied Aunt again.

"Good Bi thank you" said Bryan while wearing a watch of his choice.

Bryan came out of his room to see the girl. He has no appointment to see anyone this afternoon. He's just gonna have dinner with his business partner.

"Hi Redin, you're big" said someone familiar with calling Redin since he was a child.

"Laura" said Freddin happily.

"When did you get back from America?" ask Freddin happily.

"Just last night I arrived" Laura replied no less happy.

The woman was Laura Cassandra Andreans. Princess of PT. Andreans is a rival of PT. Wijaya Bryan's. Laura has one older brother who is Seira's best friend from childhood. His name is Kevin Leo Andreans. Laura is Freddin's best friend, as are Seira and Kevin.

Freddin was Laura's first love since they were Junior High. Laura and Freddin were two years apart. When Freddin was in the third grade of Junior High, Laura who was in the 1st grade of Junior High always followed him wherever he went. Laura even asked Freddin to marry her while they were in High School.

Love claps one hand, that's the end of Laura's love story. When Freddin was in third grade High School, he dated a classmate who broke Laura's heart and was determined to forget her forever. Laura continued her studies in America, one more year she would finish her S1 there.

"Papa is in business outside the city" Freddin replied.

"How are you now?" ask Laura again.

"I'm continuing S2 in Japan's business section" Freddin replied.

"As usual Freddin is stunning" led Laura again.

"Call me Brother" said Freddin annoyed.

"No way, I'm big now" ledek Laura nonstop.

"Sister Kevin will be home next week" Laura said.

"Asik, I finally have another friend" Freddin replied happily.

Laura looked around but the house was very quiet. Laura last visited this house when Seira's mother died and the next day went straight back to America for college.

"Where's Brother Sharon? how not to look? ask Laura who prefers to call Seira's real name.

"He lives in a different place now" Freddin replied sadly.

"Sister Sharon is dead?" laura asked in surprise and misinterpreted the meaning of Freddin's sentence.

"Not Laura, Brother Sharon has chosen to live in a different home to Papa since Mama died" Freddin explained.

"Oh yeah? tomorrow we have to visit him" Laura asked.

"Well, tomorrow we go" Freddin agreed.

Seira is choosing the best dress she will wear for dinner later. She looked at the entire wardrobe and tried it one by one. The girl did not want to make Bryan ashamed of his appearance.

After a long time of choosing, Seira finally decided to wear a more polite long-sleeved outfit. This Seira chose because she considered the meeting with the parents should give a good impression with the clothes covered.

As Seira was about to get out, her phone rang. A call from his dearest sister Freddin made Seira sit down for a while and postponed her out.

"Halo Freddin" said Seira.

"Sister tonight Laura and I are going to mix into your contract, she's finally home after all this time" Freddin exclaimed.

"Huh? tonight then? ask Seira to make sure.

"Yes tonight, brother" replied Freddin.

"Tomorrow, Brother has an important appointment with a friend" said Seira half-begged.

"What promise is more important than your sister?" ledek Freddin's.

"Tomorrow okay, big brother, you had a date with Laura today" Seira replied.

"My brother and he are just brothers" Freddin said with flushed cheeks.

"You have to learn to realize something" Seira replied as she hung up.

At exactly 19:00 Bryan came to pick up Seira. Seira who appeared graceful favored Bryan's eyes so that the man stared at Seira from top to bottom.
