Drrrr ....
Ting ....
The call vibrations and message notifications I received still continued to sound disperse my daydreams about the events three months ago and the reason now I was bombarded by dozens of messages and calls that enter. But just like before .. I choose to ignore the distraction to enjoy the beauty of the morning that might feel different tomorrow.
Tong ....
Tok .. tok.
After the calls and notifications of the messages I ignored, it was now the turn of the apartment door and the bell that rang and disturbed me.
“Author, I know you're inside!!”
I heard Arata screaming from behind my apartment door. Huft. I sighed feeling the morning calmness I expected a little longer seemed to be dissipating in a matter of minutes.
“Author!!! Open door!!”
I heard the scream again and finally I lazily got up from my santai. I walked to the door of the apartment because three months ago I changed the password of my apartment door. I didn't want Arata to break into my apartment while I was working on my seventh novel and interrupt my concentration for a month.
I opened the apartment door and found Arata's worried face mixed with worry.
“Why not pick up my call? Why not reply to the message I sent??” Arata searched me with questions as soon as he saw my face. “Why, Autthor? Does Author intend to avoid marriage with me this time?”
Huft. I sighed again and smiled faintly at the last question asked by Arata. “Do I have an option to dodge?”
“No.” Arata answered quickly. “Cannot and cannot. I won't let Author shy away from marriage again with me.”
Hearing the affirmation coming out of Arata's mouth, I immediately approached her and hugged her body. This method is an effective way to make Arata's misery and annoyance disappear while changing his bad mood to good.
“Why, Author??” Receiving a hug from me, Arata instantly changed his tone of speech to me. His speech instantly softened and his tone lowered. “What Author really doesn't want to marry me?”
“You're really annoying, Arata. I've decided to marry you and you still doubt it, huh? I'm even complying with your request to get married in the near future. Is that not enough?”
“Ka-if it wasn't for that, then why didn't Author take my call and reply to my message??” Arata returned my embrace as his guilt towards me.
“I just want to relax in the morning what can't?? Today the status of the single attached to me will change. So I want to enjoy my status for the last time. And you ... early in the morning have been pestering my composure with dozens of calls and messages.”
“Sorry, Author. I won't be so anymore.”
After making up and hugging for a few minutes. Arata then went inside my apartment to wait for me to clean up and change my clothes.
“We're leaving, Author. No need to bring food, just before here I have bought food for Author.”
Arata knows I haven't had breakfast because of my irregular meal schedule for breakfast and lunchtime. So before going to the subscription boutique from the Wiyarta family and getting ready for the wedding, I should at least get my stomach stuck first.
With Brother Rama sitting behind the wheel, Arata and I set off for the boutique. Along the way, I ate breakfast bought by Arata to prop my stomach because the series of later events are quite long and tiring. And this moment reminds me of my old memories with Arata.
“Good morning, Mr. Arata, Miss Asha.”
“Pagi.” Arata and I responded with the greeting we received when we arrived at the Wiyarta family subscription boutique.
“We meet again later, Author.” Arata said a small farewell because in the next three hours he will not see me because I will be picked up by the car brought by Father and Mother Arata to the location of the wedding held.
Arata and I then entered a different cosmetology room where in my room was already waiting for Arata's mother.
“You've eaten, Asha?” Arata's mother greeted me with a happy smile while receiving the makeup on her face.
“Already, Mom. Arata gave me breakfast to eat earlier.”
Arata's mother smiled again hearing my words. “That child .. she can be so considerate of you, Asha. When he was with Mom, he wasn't that careful. Sometimes you make me feel a little envious, Asha.”
“I'm sorry, Mom. Later I will ask Arata to pay more attention to Mother.” I sat on the makeup chair and started receiving makeup on my face.
“No need, Asha. You don't have to do it. Thanks to you, Mother and Arata's relationship has improved, I'm grateful enough. There will come a time when Arata will pay attention to Mom. No need to be forced.”
For two and a half hours .. I was with Ms. Arata receiving makeup and during that time, we exchanged stories about Arata. Arata's mother also asked me to tell her many things about myself because after this day has passed, I will officially become part of the Arata family and become one of her children.
“You are really beautiful, Asha.” Arata's mother gave her compliments to me after I finished receiving the makeup and changed my clothes in a long white wedding dress. Maybe the tail is three meters long.
“Thank you, Ma.” I received the compliment and apologized to Ms. Arata, because for these three months I have been bothering Ms. Arata a lot for my marriage. Even Arata's mother deliberately asked me to arrange a wedding for me after hearing the seventh novel I worked on within a fairly short deadline. “And forgive Asha, Mom. During these three months, Asha has troubled Mother a lot.”
Arata's mother, who had changed her clothes in a simple blue uniform with the entire Wiyarta family, then approached me and hugged me like her own child. “Have I said, don't feel bad about Mom anymore. From today, Asha is also part of the Wiyarta family. Asha is also the mother's son. Even though Mom isn't your real mother, later if Arata bullies you, I'll be on your side, Asha.”
I returned the warm embrace and tried to hold back the tears that were about to fall and possibly damage the makeup on my face. “Thank you very much, Mom. It's an honor to be a mother's child.”
In my heart, I said to myself while remembering all the bad things that happened to me.
If it was .. I didn't meet with Arata.
If it was ... Arata wasn't trying to find me.
If it was ... Arata didn't force his way into my life.
Maybe my lonely, cold, dark life will never change.
That annoying Benalu who keeps refusing to leave my life is really keeping his word to me. She was the only one who gave me so much in return for the love I gave her. He gave me his love, he gave me trusted friends, he gave me brothers who loved me so much and lastly he gave me a warm family.
Where else can I find the one who gave me mutual symbiosis?
There will never be another. Only one, and he is Arata.
