Narrator’s POV
A figure in all black clothes with a camera in his hand, pressing the button on his camera quickly to take a picture of Author Wallflower who had just exited the Wiyarta hospital building. The figure continued to take pictures of Author Wallflower, until Author Wallflower climbed into his car and drove out of the hospital area.
After taking his photo shots, the figure in all black clothes complete with a mask and black hat that protects his face saw the results of his shots and suddenly felt annoyed.
Shit man!!! This woman is really!!! The threat no longer seemed to be effective!! Should I give him a more interesting warning after this?? Maybe I should give him an even more interesting gift so that he listens to me!! About .... What kind of interesting gift am I giving and keeping her away from Arata?? The figure then turned around and walked slowly with the idea inside his head. The figure muttered slightly as he walked with the camera in his hand. “I told you, you don't deserve Arata!! And always will be, forever!!!”
On the other side ... Kendra Wiyarta who felt surprised by the answer Asha gave her, followed Asha to ask again. But Kendra's efforts failed, because once it arrived in front of the hospital building Asha had entered his car and drove away from the area of Wiyarta hospital.
Knowing his efforts failed, Kendra intends to go back inside the hospital building. But his steps came to a halt when he saw a figure in all-black clothes with a camera in his hand. Kendra watched the figure and then noticed some CCTV in the hospital that might be filming the all-black figure.
“What's up, Brother?” Maha who just happened to arrive at the hospital and was about to enter the hospital building, saw Kendra in front of the hospital with a serious face. “What are you looking at, Brother?”
“After this ..go to the security room and request footage outside the hospital building on the clock ... “ Kendra raised her hand and looked at her watch. Kendra then recalled the time of Asha's arrival to the hospital. “Antara hours 10 to 12 noon.”
“What's up?? Why suddenly ask for CCTV footage outside the hospital? Did Brother lose your phone again??” Maha insinuates the strange habit of Kendra who always forgets her phone and makes a fuss when she cannot find her phone.
“This time .. I have not forgotten my phone. But it looks like Arata's lover .. is being followed by someone who may be dangerous.”
“What is Asha followed by a stalker??” Instead of walking towards the security room, Maha asked Kendra for an explanation.
Buk. Kendra hit Maha in the head enough to make everyone who passed through the front door of the hospital surprised to see the sight.
“Auwwww!!! Brother!! Why hit my head???”
“If you have time to complain, use that time to immediately go to the security room and grab the recording I requested, Maha!!”
*
After I got out of Wiyarta hospital, I was .. I wanted to go back to my apartment. But considering how Ms. Arata's face told her story as well as the warm embrace I had felt, it would be a lie if I said I didn't miss the family who dumped me.
As a writer .. I learned many lessons from many life stories in this world. One is about ex-husband and ex-wife. In this world .. mentions for ex-wives, ex-husbands, ex-lovers and ex-in-laws have always existed, but mentions for ex-fathers, ex-moms and ex-children, will never exist. This happens because the relationship of parents with their children will be connected through the blood that flows in the child's body. Just like the case I experienced, even if I was banished by my family, even if I was removed from the family list, one fact will not change: I was born into this world by my father and mother.
So .. I decided after so many years of not visiting my family home, I wanted to see how my family lived after I left. I drove my car for about thirty minutes to arrive at the location of my old house which I vaguely remember. But after thirty minutes of driving, I still did not find my old house.
Many places changed and the environment that used to be in my memory, now has almost disappeared due to the changing times and the renewal of the city. It took me fifteen minutes to find the old house I once occupied. But so ... I was not far from my house, I did not dare to get out of the car and just sat quietly watching.
Five minutes.
Ten minutes.
Fifteen minutes.
Thirty minutes.
Seeing the happy smile of my mother, I decided to leave the house immediately. My mother was happy without me, so I shouldn't have appeared in front of her and ruined her happiness.
That's what I believed in my mind and that belief led me to the option of returning home to my apartment.
“Author!” As soon as I arrived in front of my apartment in the afternoon, I found Arata crouching in front of my apartment door and immediately standing as soon as I saw me. “From anywhere, Author? Why didn't you tell me you were leaving??”
Instead of answering Arata's question, I asked Arata another question. “Why are you squatting on my apartment doorstep like a lost child when you know my apartment door password??”
I entered my apartment door password, opened my apartment door and entered it. Arata, who had not answered my question, followed me into my apartment and immediately sat on the big sofa in front of the TV as he usually did.
“Do you not have a work schedule anymore? How's filming? Your ad??” I asked Arata again while taking two cans of juice from the refrigerator and taking him to the table where Arata was. “Drink this!”
But again ...no answer and no scolding came out of Arata's mouth. He only silently looked at me with a sharp gaze after opening the mask and sunglasses he always used to cover his face.
“Why didn't you answer my question?” ask again.
“Author also did not answer my question.”
Arata is sulking. I chuckled in my mind at how Arata was sulking perhaps for fear of not finding me in my apartment today. Previously ... I didn't realize that the sulking Arata looked cute and adorable.
At a time like this ..when my heart was beating fast for whatever reason, I thought of something in my mind. The reason I can't sleep: first is Arata's problem with his mother, second is the feeling that is in my heart for Arata that I still can't confirm. One problem I have at least known is the answer and I just need to help Arata improve his relationship with his mother and family so that he does not become like me who has been completely forgotten by my family.
Then the second problem ... I have to make sure for myself the feeling that is in my heart for the person who is currently sitting next to me and is sulking just because of something trivial. I thought about this scene in the movies and novels I've read. To make their partner stop sulking usually the main character will give something to make their partner stop sulking.
This time ... I did what I knew and gently kissed Arata's face. Cup.
Arata who received the light and gentle kiss, immediately looked at me with a surprised face while touching the part of his face that I kissed. “Author, that was .... “
I smiled as I felt a little embarrassed mixed up in misdeeds. Suddenly ... I did not dare to look directly into Arata's eyes like I used to. I threw my face away as I said, “Bi-can you stop sulking now, Arata??”
Dag .. dig. My heart was beating fast and it felt like it was going to explode in a matter of seconds. This feeling ... felt a little strange, but something inside me felt a little relieved.
“Author.” Arata hugged me and made my heart feel like it was going to explode, starting to feel comfortable. Slowly the heart rate decreases.
“A-what?” I asked a little nervously as I was still trying to restore my heart rate speed to how it was.
“The kiss ... “
“Ke-why with that kiss?”
“Less long. So fast ... I feel if the mosquito is attached.”
Damn you, Arata!!! I can only curse annoyed at Arata understanding the meaning of Arata's words.
