MY LOVELY AUTHOR'S

MY LOVELY AUTHOR'S
THE FIGURE BEHIND THE STALKER PART 4

After finishing his conversation with the Admiral, Mr. Raya and I remained in the interrogation room. Mr. Raya borrowed this room from the Admiral to explain to me the stalker who followed me and the reason Kendra and Arata kept this from me for some time.

Pak Raya recounted the series of events and Kendra's suspicions first. After that recounted the incident where Arata found the black envelopes in my apartment and took them to the Wiyarta residence. Kendra, who felt compelled to tell Arata this, then spoke to him and who would have thought that these two events would be connected to the fire that took the lives of four of my family.

“Young Master Arata and Young Master Kendra keep this a secret because they are waiting for developments from the police. Young Master Kendra provided CCTV footage at the hospital to compare whether the person who followed secretly was the same person as the fireman. While the CCTV footage in the Miss building, I examined it and compared it to the CCTV footage in the hospital. I think .. the sender of this envelope, the person who followed Miss and the person who burned Miss's house was the same person. But ... let the police make sure first and let Miss know. Because somehow the police have a forensic team in charge of checking this.”

Pak Raya finished her explanation to me and made me wonder. Why would that man burn down my family's house if he didn't like me with Arata? I'll understand if he attacks me. But he attacked a family I never met and moreover he was a man? Are the male fans of Arata as big as that of Arata?

That question came to my mind and still left me clueless.

“Why did that black-clothed figure attack a family I've never met, sir? I just saw my house from a distance and didn't meet them. But why would they attack my family and not me if this man disagrees with my relationship with Arata? I'd understand if it was a woman and she attacked me. But it was a man and he attacked my family. Isn't that weird, sir?”

I tried to think of all the possibilities, but still felt I could not find the right answer because my mind was in a complete mess. I never thought that a family that I hadn't met for a while would lose their lives because of me. I also never thought if the threatening letter that I had ignored because it did not give a bad action, would attack my family.

“First .. could be the man recorded on the CCTV camera was someone who was paid to do the job.  Could be ... there are people who hate Miss and pay the man to do many things to Miss.” Pak Raya opened her mouth and gave the thoughtful answer in her mind to me.

“Because Pak Raya said the first one, then there will definitely be a second one, right?” my many.

Pak Raya nodded her head answering my question. “Nona remember how the contents of the threat letter were?”

This time it was my turn to nod my head while remembering the contents of the threat letter that is now evidence at the police station.

You don't deserve to be with Arata!!! You are not worthy of him!!!!

“I remember that, sir. In the letter he threatened me by saying that I did not deserve to be with Arata. I'm not worthy of Arata.” I repeated the contents of the threat letter and replaced the subject with my word.

Pak Raya looked at me with a serious face and soon her mouth opened and repeated the sentence in the threatening letter. “You don't deserve to be with Arata! You don't deserve him! Can't Miss feel if those two sentences have other intentions?”

Hearing that question, I realized something I had never thought of. In an instant ... My brain then processed all the information I received and the questions I could not find the answer. The figure of the man in black clothes, the figure who followed me and stalked me, and attacked my family instead of attacking me. All of that information is then processed quickly and eventually leads to a single conclusion.

“Jadi .... “

I recalled the contents of the threatening letter I had read in the interrogation room. Because Author Wallflower had never heard of the warning I gave, so this time I will give the best gift to Author. I hope Author likes the gift I gave her.

“ ... Because the man said Miss's family's death as a gift to Miss, the purpose of the man burning down Miss's family home is to make Miss interested in him and thank him for solving one problem from Miss.”

I shuddered in horror at the words of Mr. Raya. The guilt returned to me and the tears I had withstood fell back. I remember how that day I went to my parents' house and saw my mother's smile. If only ... that day I did not visit my family home. They all lost their lives, because of me. All because of me!!!

            Narrator’s POV

Arata came home in a hurry when he heard news from Pak Raya about Asha and Pak Raya who had received a call from Mr. Laksmana-detective who takes care of the fire case in the Asha family home.

“You're home, Arata?” Arata's mother greets Arata when she sees him entering Wiyarta's residence.

“Yes, Mom. I'm h-home. Is Author in his room?” Arata asked with a worried face.

“Yes. Since returning home from the police station together with Pak Raya, Asha locked herself in her room. I had to contact Mr. Raya because I was worried. If Mom becomes Asha, Mom will probably do the same with Asha this time.”

“Then ... I'll talk to Author first, Bu.” Arata was about to head to the second floor to Asha's room.  But before climbing the first rung, Arata stopped his footsteps and turned to look at his mother. “For today, thank you, Mom. I inconvenienced Mom by asking Mom to accompany Author.”

Arata's mother replied to Arata's thanks with her warm smile. “Mother is happy too, Arata. It's been a long time ... I want a daughter who can spend time with me. Unfortunately, your two older brothers did not get married and gave Mother-in-law to realize her little dream. Thanks to you and Asha, I am really happy. It would be better if you could marry Asha as soon as possible, that's what I hope.”

Arata smiled and slightly misbehaved at his mother's words. “I want to, too, Mom. I also want to quickly marry Author.”

Arata wanted to continue his sentence but ended up stopping his words to his mother on that sentence alone and said that sentence only in his mind. I felt that if I didn't tie him up immediately, he could disappear from my face like he did
