ON THE VERGE OF DEATH PART 4

            “Is not this place a place with bad memories for you, Sena?? Then why did you bring me here, Sena?”

            My mind right now says the reason Sena brought me here is a bad reason for me. After hearing Sena's dark story, I might feel a little sorry for her. But to this day he's killed enough people in my knowledge, what if there are more victims than I know? What if more people lost their lives at Sena's hands?

            If that's the case, then I can't have compassion even if I have it. Sena ... should not accept compassion when she easily kills others using love as an excuse.

             Sena looked at me with a smile on her lips. His hand reached into his jacket pocket and took out an object in white. It was a white handkerchief that I felt was the thing that Sena had used to sedate me.

            “I'm sorry, Asha.”

            I saw Sena take out a bottle filled with liquid and pour it onto the white handkerchief. Without having to ask Sena, I know what Sena will do to me in the next few minutes, she will sedate me again.

            “Do not do that, Sena!!!” 

            I tried so hard to get away from Sena. I tried to pull both my hands and my legs tied with all my might, hoping that one of them would come off. But no matter how hard I tried, it ended in failure. Both my hands and my legs were injured in every effort I put in. And that made Sena not stop at all what she was going to do to me.

            “I'm sorry, Asha!!”

            I stared intently at Sena when I heard that sentence again. I threw a sharp glare and kept trying even though I knew my efforts had only a very small possibility.

            “You apologize to me, but you tied me up here, Sena??? You said you loved me, but you tortured me like this??” Sensing something dangerous, I could no longer hold myself back from talking to Sena. Hearing how his dark life story and not one or two kills someone else, I knew the words I let out would not change the intention in Sena's mind.

            “I love you so much, Asha. And that's the truth. Unfortunately ... That annoying Arata will always stick you wherever you go. Even if you refuse, he will stay by your side until you accept him. So ... To keep you away from Arata and make you always look at me, I have to do this, Asha!” After saying that, Sena approached towards me and smothered me like she had done to me before.

            I rebelled with my best efforts. But since both my hands and my legs were tied, I could not get away from Sena and was eventually caught by Sena. Slowly ... My body lost all its power. Slowly all my senses began to weaken. My eyes began to blur. The pain I felt in my hands and feet, began to disappear.

            “After this we will be together forever, Asha ... “

            My blurred vision saw Sena talking to me as her other hand touched my face and stroked her gently. My ears faintly heard what he said to me.

            “ ... We will be together forever and I will introduce you to my mother, Asha.”

            After hearing that sentence, I could no longer feel anything, hear anything and also see anything. I could only curse inside my mind while feeling the death that might come to me in the near future. Damnit.

            Narrator’s POV

            The admiral turned his head back as he exited from inside his team car. From where he stood, the Admiral could clearly catch a car that had been following him and the Admiral knew who it belonged to.

            “Are we going to let it go, sir?” Leo asked the Admiral while looking in the same direction as the Admiral.

            The admiral scratched his head recalling his daughter's remark regarding his idol-Arata.

            “That average is a romantic guy, Dad. Later ... I want to find a husband who is like Arata,”

            “Arata likes a writer named Wallflower. Not long ago there was slanted news about Author Wallflower, but Arata kept defending her no matter what. And recently there is news that says that Arata became famous for finding the Wallflower Author who once saved himself from despair. To find Author Wallflower, Arata always brings novels by Author Wallflower and makes himself more famous to be recognized by Author Wallflower.”

            “Is that??”

            “Yes, Dad. After all Arata's efforts, fate finally brought the two of them together and now the two have become lovers.  The Arata-idol even expressed his love for Author Wallflower in public, as if to say she was the woman I loved in front of everyone. Isn't that romantic, Dad?”

            “What is romantic? According to Father, it's a little overrated.”

            “Daddy is really colossal. Now that's the romantic picture, Dad. If you ask all the women in this country, I assure you that more than 70% of women will say that Arata-idolaku is a romantic man.”

            “We can't let it. But ... This is the famous actor Arata-si who is known to love her lover so much that he made a public confession.”

            Leo gawked at the Admiral's words. During his time as an assistant to the Admiral, Leo knew well that the Admiral was a blind man with the development of entertainment. The admiral knows only the president, vice president and a few ministers. Others ... The admiral would ignore things like unimportant names that would only make the memory in his brain actually reduced because of important things.

            And now ... Leo was really surprised to find Laksmana knew about Arata who several times became the center of attention because of his love story with Author Wallflower which made many women in this country feel envious and amazed.

            “How did you know about Arata? In fact before this, you did not even recognize Arata even though your daughter always talked about him.”

            “I dug up information from my daughter after knowing Miss Asha is the owner of the name Author Wallflower and lover of Arata.”  The admiral looked around and felt that something was dangerous. “Leo.”

            “Ya, Sir.”

            “Send one of our men to ask Arata to wait near his car. Tell him not to get close to the villa in the slightest while we try to catch Sena.”

            “Good, Sir.”

            Leo asks one of his colleagues to approach Arata's car and gives a message given by the Admiral. After sending one of his men to deliver his message, the Admiral along with Leo and some of his men enter the villa which is believed to belong to Sena and her family.

            “Check every room!”

            The admiral gave his orders to his men once he entered the interior of the villa with caution and high vigilance. But ... Once he checked all the rooms, the Admiral along with his men did not find Sena and Asha except for a few ropes tied at the foot of the bed in one of the rooms.

            The admiral checked the room to find clues while Leo opened the curtains in the room, in order for the Admiral to get proper lighting to find clues.

            “Pak!!” Leo shouted to the Admiral.

            “Did you find something, Leo?” The admiral got up from his crouching position and approached Leo. How surprised the Admiral was to see what Leo was currently seeing.

            “They both seem to be in the lake, Sir!!!” Leo shouted while pointing towards the middle of the lake.
