Mothers

Mothers
5 Grandma Prayer

Renata and Mahendra arrive at Renata's house which is still given a police line. Although some neighbors whispered about Renata, she did not care. What he cares about right now is the truth about his mother. After digging deeper, Renata gets more and more confused as to what the real Kinanti is.

Renata entered her empty house. The emptiness again permeates Renata's heart.

"Why Renata?" ask Mahendra. After asking that, Mahendra immediately felt bad.

"No." Renata only answered short and smiled at Mahendra.

Renata continued her steps towards the Kinanti room. Indeed, at that time Mahendra only checked the Kinanti dressing table. Not checking the bed or closet.

Renata opens the closet of Kinanti clothes that Renata rarely touch.

The Kinanti closet is the same as the closet in general. Kinanti dress shirts, shirts, pants and there is a suitcase covered with a long dress. Renata will inspect all of Kinanti's goods carefully. He opened Kinanti's suitcase.

The suitcase is medium size. Enough to bring clothes if traveling for 2-3 days. But Renata is quite confused by Kinanti's suitcase.

"Renata. Why?" Mahendra sees Renata rather hesitating with Kinanti's suitcase.

"I've never seen my mother go with this suitcase."

Finally Renata opened Kinanti's suitcase. When he opened the suitcase, there were two small bags inside. Renata is getting curious as to what is behind this suitcase. After the suitcase opened, Renata was surprised that it turned out that Kinanti money was very much.

"This is the money your mother saved?" ask Mahendra. Renata could not answer. He was out of words. He clearly remembered that every day Renata had almost no food to eat properly.

"The mother clearly said that she was out of money. And there's no side dishes to eat. Therefore I work to eat our daily life." Renata's heart was very sad to tell all this to people he did not know at all.

The longer Mahendra traced the Kinanti case, inevitably this family secret was revealed. From the beginning he thought this was an ordinary suicide case, but it turns out the truth says otherwise.

"Let's find out if there's any records of your mother's." Renata doesn't talk much. His heart is too bitter for all this. But he could not shake his curiosity. Renata searches for whether there are any records belonging to Kinanti or not.

"Renata. Look at this." said Mahendra. Turns right. Kinanti was a very meticulous person with money. It says to Renata. After the book was opened, it was revealed on what date Kinanti received the money and what it should be used for.

"Has this money been deliberately kept by your mother?"

"But for what if he knew that there was an ATM machine rather than having to store money like this" Renata said. Mahendra was unable to respond to anything.

"Then what about your father? Does he send you money regularly?"

"Mother told me that Dad sent her money but not because there are other people to bless." Renata told me.

"Other people?" Mahendra did not understand Renata's intentions.

"Yes. I left home about two years ago."

****

Renata just got home from work. Without knocking or telling Mom and Dad if he's home. He went straight into the room and heard voices from Mom and Dad.

"How can you leave us and go to that woman?" Kinanti asked firmly at Candra.

"Then, how do you want us? Nina continued to chase after me." replied Candra sounding relaxed to Renata.

"Can't you leave him? Aren't you ashamed of Renata?" Kinanti began to raise her voice.

"The senses are grown. He already understands. He can take care of himself anyway." replied Candra did not want to lose.

"What are you thinking? Can you leave us for that woman?" Kinanti began to sound emotional.

"I'll marry Nina soon. And you don't have to interfere."

Kinanti had no power to answer the word Candra. That very night, Candra left Kinanti. Without bringing anything from home.

Renata was devastated to hear his father's words. He swore from that day on that he would not abort his father in the least.

Kinanti crying in the room. It was a small sound of crying, but Renata could still hear it because their room was opposite each other.

Nina rubbed her face with cream. The blue bruise that imprinted his cheeks was painful. He also cleaned the blood coming out of his mouth. After he rubbed with a cloth kassa, he slightly apply lip dye so as not to look pale.

An assistant walked into Nina's room and carried a shirt that was placed in a dirty laundry basket.

"Mrs. Does this want to be thrown out?"

Nina looked at the shirt the assistant was carrying and recalled when Candra hit her battered.

"Burn it up." Nina patted the thin powder on her face and smeared a blush on her cheek.

"Okay, Madam."

After Nina finished putting on makeup, she went straight down as her in-laws called out to her earlier.

"Where have you been? Your husband is leaving town and you just woke up?" asked Herlina sarcastically.

Nina never got any sweet treatment from her in-laws. These are the words that always come out of his mouth. Rough and cynical.

"Sorry, Mom. I'm changing clothes." Nina replied, Be polite to her mother-in-law.

"Don't take too long. Take Candra to the airport. He'll be gone for a business trip soon."

Nina answered nothing. He just nodded in understanding.

Renata looked at Mahendra in confusion.

"Why are you sorry?"

"Because of me you have to unlock your mother's secret."

Renata smiles.

"It's not your fault. It's your job to investigate someone's death. Why do you feel bad about me?"

Mahendra was confused himself. Yes yes? Why should I feel bad about Renata? It is my job. Mahendra was wrong.

"So, looking at this notebook, your mother deliberately saved money for you." Mahendra covered his misguided attitude by trying to draw conclusions.

"But for what. I don't get it. This house was given to me by my father. Like I have to have a house again, yes it may be difficult. Because I'd think about what if I left my mother."

Mahendra felt a little touched by Renata's statement. Because no matter what happens, Kinanti's case lies to her or not, Renata will still think about Kinanti's feelings.

Hape Renata is ringing. There's an unknown number that goes into his hape.

"Hello?"

"Miss Renata? We're from the LFN. The autopsy will be completed soon. Can you come here?"

"All right."

Renata immediately turned off the phone and looked back at Mahendra.

"Is there something you've found again?" tanya Renata was already starting to be able to relax.

"Yes there. There are some I need to discuss as well. But there seems to be an urgent matter." Mahendra replied relieving his tension.

"That's from the LFN. My mother's autopsy will be done soon and they'll write the report."

"alright. How about we work together on your mother's case?"

Renata looks doubtful with Mahendra.

"Don't misunderstand me. I'm just doing my job. If in five days I don't find any evidence that your mother was murdered, this case will be closed as a suicide."

"What's? Why that?" Renata did not believe that the prosecution should have reached a conclusion too soon.

"Yes. Because of the lack of evidence. But, just maybe, your info can help my investigation" Mahendra said.

Mahendra extended his hand to Renata. Hoping to cooperate in the investigation of the Kinanti case. Renata is afraid of a secret that has not been revealed by Kinanti.

"You have to be sure, Renata. Because that way, your mother's case will be quickly revealed." said Mahendra.

Renata nodded. He received Mahendra's hand. He also wants the case to be revealed in great clarity and detail.

Mahendra smiled at Renata.

Renata and Mahendra get back in the car. And get ready to go back to the LFN. But hape Mahendra was shaking. There's a call coming in from his assistant, Nugraha.

"Sir I've found the account belonging to Ms. Kinanti."

"Then, how?"

"There's an entry balance every month but it's from someone I don't think is her husband. But this is a woman's name."

"Women? Who?" Mahendra turned towards Renata in confusion.

"Herlina Tanujaya."

"Good thanks."

Mahendra turned off the phone from Nugraha and immediately asked Renata. Mahendra thought that this was a pretty important clue.

"Who is Herlina Tanujaya? But it seems I've heard the name Tanujaya."

Renata looked straight ahead. Expressionless as if he was reluctant to discuss the name.

"That's my grandmother's name." said Renata slowly.

Mahendra looked at Renata with curiosity.

"Your grandmother? Wait for. Isn't he the one from the Seijin Group?"

Renata sighed and cast his gaze out the window. Mahendra's curiosity is mounting. Is Renata the son of a conglomerate? But why is his house so simple and his life so difficult?

Mahendra doesn't want to ask now. He had to give Renata time to open up. Mahendra immediately stepped on the gas pedal and immediately headed to the LFN.
