Herlina started to get nervous with herself. The dilemma that struck his heart grew increasingly raging. The only son who was expected to inherit his company, could not reach the target usually done by Herlina. Herlina thought of all the ways that Candra could inherit it but could not. Instead of making money with careful planning for his company, he instead spent money and spoiled.
Herlina's worried. He can't leave his company to Candra if he stays that way. Herlina wants to form Renata in order to inherit her company. But can and is it possible that Renata will inherit it?
Secretary Kim walks into Herlina's study and tells her that someone is looking for Candra.
"Excuse me, Madam. There's someone looking for Mr. Candra. Do I just take it?" ask Secretary Kim politely.
Herlina, who was thinking about her company, immediately turned her eyes away when a young prosecutor she knew came into her office.
"Good day, Mother Herlina." said Mahendra as if nothing had happened. Mahendra tries to control his emotions which soon wants to catch Candra. The detective who came was also asked by Mahendra to dress in an ordinary shirt.
"Good day, Mr. Prosecutor. I didn't know you served far here either." said Herlina as warmly as possible to Mahendra. Herlina invites Mahendra and his partner to sit on the sofa of Herlina's study.
"Please sit down, Mr. Prosecutor. Mr. Kim, please prepare us a drink." Secretary Kim immediately went out and got some drinking water for Mahendra and his partner.
"How are you, Miss Herlina? I have a job here, Mom." Mahendra replied in pleasantries.
Herlina is feeling ordinary with the arrival of Mahendra. There was nothing he suspected of coming.
"Yes, Mr. Attorney. I'm honored Mr. Prosecutor would like to take the time to greet me. Is there something, Mr Prosecutor? Or maybe you've found the bright spot of the Kinanti problem?" ask Herlina who might be a little understood by the arrival of Mahendra.
"Yes, Miss Herlina, that's what I'm trying to say." Mahendra replied a little nervously. Mahendra's coworkers to this day still have not voiced anything.
"How, Mr Prosecutor? Is there anything I can help you with?" ask Herlina.
"I apologize in advance, Mother Herlina. It is with a heavy heart that I say that the culprit is your own child. Mr. Candra."
Herlina was shocked. He felt his hands tremble and was immediately hidden by Herlina so that her anxiety would not be seen. Herlina's advance instantly turned one hundred and eighty degrees. At first he greeted Mahendra warmly, now he was a little cold on Mahendra.
"Why my son, sir? My son rarely comes to Kinanti. All I know is he went to work." Yep. Maybe Herlina could be lying about this. Because several times he caught Candra being engrossed with other women or in a nightclub.
"In the past we had talked to Ms. Nina that there was a possibility Mr. Candra was violent to Ms. Nina and also Ms. Kinanti. At first I was hesitant and in disbelief until I found evidence of video footage that seemed to be deliberately installed Kinanti in the house." Mahendra explained very carefully.
"Sorry, Mom. Maybe I'm in shock." said the detective who participated in the conversation.
"But this is the reality and we hope you can work with us" the detective said.
"Before that," Herlina was still shocked to hear her own son was involved in the murder case. He had no idea how Candra could do that. During this time that Herlina saw, Candra lived a normal and ordinary life. There was nothing he missed.
"May I see a video involving my son?" herlina Pinta.
Mahendra is hesitant to give the video because it may still keep the feeling that Herlina is Renata's family. But not with the detective. He immediately thrust out the tablet and Herlina watched all the videos.
Herlina's facial voice tells of the sadness between believing and not believing that her son could do it all. All he knew, Candra was fine and had never done anything beyond the limits of reasonableness. Herlina covered her mouth, shuddering in horror at what Candra was doing. Starting from Candra beat Kinanti so violently that she hung the deceased Kinanti in a white hanging. Herlina hysterically sees Candra doing it all.
"My son, my son, why can you do that? Jeez my son...." Herlina cried and could not hold back her emotions anymore. He was completely helpless and very limp. Mahendra and the detective don't know how to deal with something like this.
"What about Renata? Does Renata know this?" ask Herlina. Mahendra cannot lie. Because for him this is a pretty serious matter.
"This video, Renata found it."
"I will work together" said Herlina with her puffy eyes. A little bit of hope for Mahendra.
"Do it according to procedure. And do a closed interrogation. Don't expose it to the public. Otherwise, Renata could be down and his desire to go to college is nonexistent. Please do whatever it takes for Renata to survive the murderous child charge..." Herlina remembered Renata's sweet and innocent face with a very sore heart. He started to shed tears again.
"Please, just arrest Candra if she's guilty. But don't involve Renata anymore. Renata is my only hope" Herlina looked at Mahendra pleading.
Mahendra delivers the arrest warrant to Candra and Herlina escorts Mahendra and the detectives to Candra's room.
Herlina opened the door with anger in her heart. And worse he found Candra laughing out loud staring at the screen of his hape.
Herlina directly approached Candra and slapped her hard.
Plakk!! Candra was startled and immediately stood up from her leisurely seat.
"Mother! What are you doing!" snapped Candra at Herlina while holding her sore cheek.
"Mom should have asked! What have you been doing to Kinanti all this time? Torture her? It's not sane you're Candra!"
Candra started to freeze, she felt trembling because Herlina said something that was not usually said.
"Mom, I don't..."
"Don't dodge it! Kinanti died you never asked her where she was or where she was buried. And look what is this?" Herlina offers the video that Mahendra brought. Candra widened her eyes, where did this video come from? It is clearly visible his face.
"From this second on, you won't be the heir to the company! My company is ruined because of you! Follow Mr. Prosecutor to Jakarta calmly and hide your face. If you can't take responsibility for your own actions, I'll never consider you a child!" herlina said with her somance.
"Mom, Mum, it's not like this, Mom. Help me, Mom. I don't want Ma. Please send me a lawyer, Mom! Please Mom!" Candra whines like a child who wants to buy candy. And as always, Herlina did not budge. Herlina threw her gaze out the window.
"Mother! Momu! Please, Mom!" candra's voice grew longer and less heard by Herlina.
"Thank you for the cooperation, Ms. Herlina" Mahendra said. But Herlina did not turn her head to Mahendra again.
"Help your promise, to help me look after Renata. Renata is my only flesh and blood and I've worked with you. Please do my wish." said Herlina without turning her head.
"Well, thank you Mother Herlina."
Mahendra immediately left the room and headed to the lobby. Herlina was still staring out the window. And Secretary Kim came over to Herlina.
"Madam, I think something happened to Mr. Candra."
"Don't call him Sir. Follow the prosecutor to Jakarta and Candra. Report every detail to me. Candra will be taken to the police station and detained. Prepare everything so that it is not visible to the media or the public." Herlina orders her Secretary.
"Good, Mistress. I will prepare a flight today. Then what about you, Madam?" ask Secretary Kim worried.
"Don't worry. I'll catch up and finish some work here. You go with them."
Then Secretary Kim went through all Herlina's orders without the slightest rebuttal. After the death of Secretary Kim, Herlina was an ordinary mother who could feel pain with what befell her child. He cried and patted his chest that felt tight.
