Renata leaned her head against the wall by the window. The only sight visible is the complex house and police who wara-wiri. Renata still can't do anything. He was still in shock and Evano asked him to stay in his temporary home. Renata had no choice but to obey him.

Mahendra, is a prosecutor known for his persistence. It is also known as a case swab to the root. Today he was at the scene of a crime scene where a woman in her forties allegedly killed herself. Mahendra noticed the condition of Kinanti's body lying on the floor of his house.
Kinanti had an incision on her wrist and splashed blood so that her bloodstains hit her shirt. The incision looks like the Kinanti has two incisions. Mahendra also got information from the forensic team, when sprayed luminol liquid, blood was only visible around the victim's body and a little blood near the kitchen.
At the moment Mahendra cannot conclude anything. Because it still does not have a definite result regarding this case.
"Are there no husbands and children from Ms Kinanti?" mahendra asked the detective.
"His husband has not been home for several days, according to the testimony of the neighbors. But his son, Renata, is calming down because of the shock of seeing his mother's condition." explained one of the detectives.
"Take the body to forensics and I'll see the child" Mahendra said.
"Where is his son now?"

The door of the guest room that Renata was occupying was knocked on and Evano immediately opened the door. Renata's eyes looked empty. It's like he doesn't know what to do.
"Ren, someone wants to see you" Evano said.
Renata did not answer. He looked towards Evano.
"There's a prosecutor here. Meet, Ren. Who knows if there's something."
Renata got out of her bed and immediately tidied up her messy clothes. Renata came out and sat right in front of Mahendra.
"Yes, sir."
"Miss Renata. I'd like to ask you some questions related to the passing of Ms. Kinanti." Mahendra said it firmly as if there was no doubt in his tone. Renata looked at him with a bit of sharpness.
"Miss Renata, where were you at 13:15 to 15:15 this afternoon?" ask Mahendra.
"I went to the cake shop. Buy a cake for Mom because I love cake. Maybe now the cake I bought is still on the bike." replied Renata.
Mahendra was silent for a while and looked back where there were some police. Mahendra asked him to check the Renata motorbike which still had a cake, as Renata said.
"Do you know of any people who have been in contact with your Mom lately?" ask Mahendra.
"I don't know." replied Renata.
Moments later, the police brought back a box of cookies that were still hanging on the motorcycle.
"Maybe I'm still a bit in shock, sir. But I remember very well who likes to have a fight with my Mom."
"Who?"
"My dad. But I don't know where he lives nor his hape number."
"Then how can you be sure it's your father?"
"Dad comes home occasionally even when drunk. I know exactly."
Mahendra looked more confused. He knew this was not just an ordinary suicide. Renata from the beginning met with Mahendra in no way showing the sadness that should be seen on Renata's face.
"I don't know what to say anymore. I'm still very shocked. I hope you can find something out of my mother's case" Renata said.
But what Mahendra realized was that Renata's eyes were so empty. Mahendra cursed him, probably because he was still very shocked and saw his mother lying on the floor of his house.
***
"Sorry, Sir. Maybe Renata is still in shock. He was very close to his mother. And losing his mother at this time makes him unable to think clearly" Evano said.
"Are you the owner of this house?" ask Mahendra.
"Yes right."
Mahendra pulled out his business card and gave it to Evano.
"Call me if Miss Renata knows anything about this case."
"Good, sir."
Mahendra and several other policemen left Evano's house. Evano placed the prosecutor's business card on his book table and looked at Renata once more. Renata is the same. Stare blankly at the window.
"This is the prosecutor's business card. If there's something you know, get in touch with it" said Evano, putting the business card near Renata's hand.
Renata did not react. He just looked at the business card. Mahendra.

"Close this case" the Chief Prosecutor told Mahendra in his study.
"But, Sir..." Mahendra still insists on investigating the Kinanti case.
"It has been proven that the victim committed suicide at home. What else do you need?" ask the Chief Prosecutor confident with today's investigation.
"I'm not sure yet, sir. Forensics has not given us the results of the investigation." said Mahendra.
"Is that so? How many days are you sure that this is just a case of suicide?" ask the Chief Prosecutor to make sure Mahendra.
"Sorry, Sir. I need to go deeper into this case. But if..."
The Chief Prosecutor immediately cut off Mahendra's remarks.
"Five days. I'll give you five days to solve the case. If there is no more in-depth evidence, this case I close as a case of ordinary suicide. You willing?"
"good. Thank you, sir!" Mahendra immediately lowered his head saluting his superior and left the Chief Prosecutor's room.
Mahendra immediately returned to his study. Secretaries and detectives who used to handle cases as a team with Mahendra, are preoccupied with several cases that must be reviewed.
"Liliana's mother, Mr. Nugraha, we have five days to solve Ms. Kinanti's case. If it is past five days, the Chief will close it as a case of ordinary suicide" Mahendra told his staff.
"Good, sir."
"Mother Liliana, please check the phone calls and messages belonging to Ms. Kinanti. Mr. Nugraha I ask you to check the nearest CCTV in the complex of his house."
"Good, sir."
They work together, trying to discover what really happened to Kinanti. Mahendra was sure, there was something Renata had hidden. The face of Renata he met yesterday looked very dark and hollow.
Mahendra felt an incongruity in Renata's eyes. But, the perpetrators always return to the CTF. Mahendra will double-check the CTF tomorrow morning.

Early in the morning, Renata came to his house which was already in the police line. He stared at the empty house. The house he always lived in with warm and joking laughter with his mother, is now gone. Renata's only hope for his entire life was no longer there. Renata can only stare at the picture of the frame that I always clean. A picture of the frame on a table full of pictures of her with Mom.
There are hardly any pictures of Dad. Yep. I left a few years ago with a woman who was obsessed with him. Although Dad occasionally returned to Mom, then it never made Renata happy. Fathers who have a high temperament always avoid Renata.
Renata began to cry as he saw a white line coiling on the floor. This is where Mom is helpless. She always remembers Mom's smile with her fragile heart, the longer Mom's smile makes Renata sick. Renata patted his chest hard. He tried to remove the chest tightness.
Where she'll never see Mom's smile again for good. He screamed in a heartache. A heart that has just become fragile is now empty because of loss.
