Mothers

Mothers
13 Streets

Evano is not excited to live his day. Renata has been out of work for several days without notice. Indeed, Evano should understand his current condition. Not until a week Renata lost her mother in a tragic way, why can Evano think that Renata will enter work? Evano thinks back that Renata must rest and recover his mind from the grief of losing his mother. Evano stands by at the cashier table and is ready to receive orders after tidying up a few cups. It was still ten in the morning, still a bit quiet. So Evano wrote some material notes to buy later.

But while Evano was writing the note, the door of the cafe opened.

TRING....!

A young and handsome man came to distract Evano. What makes Evano interested is that it turns out he is a prosecutor who came to his house the other day to interrogate Renata.

"Good morning. What do you want to order?" tanya Evano serves customers as usual.

"I want a cappucino. Less sugar." Mahendra replied taking the wallet out of his pants pocket.

"Pay by card or cash?" ask Evano.

"Just be it." Mahendra answered him briefly and gave him a few pieces of paper money.

"All right, Mr. Attorney." Evano received the money and pressed a few buttons on his cash register.

Mahendra was stunned by the way Evano answered him. How did he know he was a prosecutor?

"You know me?"

"Father once went to my house for Renata's interrogation at the time of her mother's death" Evano replied while making a cappucino Mahendra's order.

Mahendra seemed to remember where he had met him.

"Oh, neighbor Renata?"

"Yes." Yeah."

"You close to Renata?" ask Mahendra again. Not long after, Evano came out of his cashier table and directed Mahendra to sit at one of the tables. The somewhat confused Mahendra followed Evano's direction.

"Attent, Sir. I'd like to ask." Evano pulled up a chair and sat down, as did Mahendra.

"Renata how's it going?" ask Evano.

"I don't know. I haven't met Renata today." Mahendra replied innocently.

"Since yesterday I saw Mr and Renata back and forth in the car. And this morning my father's car wasn't at Renata's."

Mahendra understood a little what Evano meant by asking Renata. It's like someone's private domain that Mahendra shouldn't have answered.

"If you're curious, why don't you ask yourself?"

"Renata shut himself down since his mother's death. I couldn't ask anything and the other neighbors were very worried about Renata. He now lives alone..."

"I understand what you mean." cut Mahendra without wanting to convolve with Evano's words.

"But if you really care about him, come to him. Entertain him. He lost his mother very much." said Mahendra.

"I was worried and he didn't say anything about his job either."

"You mean his job?" Mahendra was curious from the beginning, where Renata worked.

"Part-time employment at this cafe with me. As his partner, I'm worried."

"Come to Renata." Mahendra replied briefly. "After all, a person who is at a loss needs to be entertained and accompanied. I see you care enough about him. May you be sincere." Mahendra smiled and got up from his seat.

"I'll say goodbye first. I want a job" Mahendra said.

Evano was still curious about many things. But Mahendra had already left the cafe with a glass of cappucino in his hand.

Renata is looking for an apartment that is cheap to live in. Actually it is not how important he is looking for an apartment at a low price. Because Herlina already gave him an apartment. The little house he was living in right now actually meant a lot to him. But Renata wanted to leave all the pain behind him.

CRING!

Hape Renata rang and there was a call coming in from Mahendra.

"Yes?"

"Can we meet for a second?"

"What's wrong?"

"For a moment, I'm in front of your house."

Renata instantly turned off the hape and immediately headed to the front door. Justright. There is Mahendra in front of the house.

"Yes, why?" Renata is very confused, having to call Mahendra by what name. Even his age looks much older than her.

"I want to apologize."

"What about?"

"Your mother's case was temporarily postponed. So I can't do the investigation for a while" Mahendra said.

"What's? Butwhy? We're almost getting the worst point out of this. We have a lot to find out!" Renata is getting upset with Mahendra.

"I still can't find any evidence that it was murder. I also wanted to go ahead with it, but the Chief Prosecutor turned it down." Mahendra obviously felt bad.

"I can't! I need to find out who killed my mother!" renata sounded desperate.

"Listen to me. I won't give up on your mother's case either. So we face it together. I'm just investigating this case secretly. Help me whatever you know. Everything." Mahendra's words calmed Renata down a little.

Renata's heart melos. He doesn't know what to do now.

"I... feel desperate..How could this happen? Everything feels unfair." said Renata sadly. He felt fragile in front of Mahendra. I don't know why. Renata is always tough. But in front of Mahendra, Renata is very easy to express his feelings.

"Calm down. First, we look for something that can be used as evidence. Maybe we can find it in your house."

Renata looked at Mahendra suddenly.

"Why do you want to enter my house so badly?"

"Oo.don't think things through. I'm just going to work." Mahendra replied starting to open the gate of Renata's house. Renata just kept watching Mahendra.

Mahendra looked through the house that was if it was evidence. Because LFN only provides results from autopsy only. Fingerprints or footwear were not found in Renata's home. Anyone would think this is just a case of suicide.

"You found something?" tanya Renata watched Mahendra. Mahendra was still going around looking at the contents of the living room. He wanted to make a drink for Mahendra. But there was already a glass of coffee in his hand. Renata looked at the coffee cup. Renata knew him.

"You were at Madison's Cafe?" ask Renata.

Mahendra looked at Renata confused. How did Renata know? But Mahendra understood, Renata saw his coffee glass.

"Yes, I was there. And I met your friend." Mahendra replied, sending the drink back.

"Why are you there?"

"I just stopped by the cafe, got coffee. Like people would buy that."

Renata did not ask again. Yeah, maybe just stop by. But this time Mahendra is very curious about Renata.

"Your friends work there, right?"

"Yes." Yeah."

"You're part-time there too?" ask Mahendra.

"Yes, why?" Renata starts to lazily respond to Mahendra.

"So I met you, who lived in that house" Mahendra replied. Renata is confused. Did the prosecutor investigating the case also ask these kinds of things?

"Why him? His name is Evano."

"She said she was worried because some days you didn't look and come to work."

"Jeez."

"Why? He's asking you to."

"Sir Prosecutor if you have finished going home gih sono. I want to go to college." Renata is really lazy to respond to this unreasonable Mahendra.

"Jas. I'm just anterin."

"No need!"

"Down there, change clothes!"

"I said no, right?"

"Your campus directions are the same as the prosecutor's office. Why the hell would you be with me? Afraid wondering?"

"That's it!" Renata closed the door and locked it.

Mahendra gave a small laugh and went back to his coffee.

Herlina has arrived in Bali. He immediately went to his resort in Tanjung Benoa. He walked quickly with an emotional heart. At first he did not believe it because Nina told him. But after many people reported, he also became a believer.

Herlina walked with the secretary to Candra's room. Without knocking, Herlina opened the door of Candra's room with a spare access card.

It's true that the employee's concerns all along. That Candra sometimes plays around with women at work. Surprised the woman was with Candra who was hugging half-naked.

"Mother?"

Herlina stared intently at Candra with the woman she was with. The woman immediately went and picked up her clothes that were strewn on the carpet floor.

"Mother, when are you here?" ask Candra trying as quietly as possible.

Without answering Candra's question, Herlina approached her and directly slapped Candra's cheek.

"You're playing around here and neglecting business! You think you can fool your mother!" Herlina was furious at this unreasonable attitude of Candra.

"Mother, please listen to my explanation, Mom!" Candra was terrified when Herlina was angry. He could do nothing but ask for his mercy.

"You're not Candra's little boy! How dare you humiliate your own mother! Mr. Kim, pull all the credit cards. Don't let anything remain!"

"Mother, Mother, forgive me, Mom, forgive me, Mom! I won't do it again, Mom. Forgive me, Mom!"

Candra grabbed Herlina's hand for mercy from her. He knew exactly when he was angry, the threat was to freeze all his credit cards.

"You've been here a few days and no reports have come! You're not acting as the heir to the company!" herlina said as she left Candra's room. Candra was moaning like a child asking to buy a toy.

After leaving Candra's room, Herlina immediately gave directions to several staff at the resort.

"Set up a meeting in an hour. Now I will rest for a while while preparing the material!" Herlina said firmly and immediately left.

"Good, Mom."
